Simba's roar in the end was one of the most amazing moments not just of The Lion King or Animated Movies, but one of the greatest moments of movies story
@darkneon5637 ... Um, HOW could He Lives In You rob Be Preparing from its place as the number 1 villain song when He Lives In You ISN'T a villain song?
The TLK franchise has many moments that are so impactful, we can't help but not only watch them repeatedly but also use them to reflect on our very lives, especially when the moments are relatable.
@@olleselin Primus was the god who created the Transformers and Unicron's brother I always imagined him have the deep low voice of James Earl Jones a voice fit for a god!
"The Lion King" franchise was my childhood! They've always amazed me and guttpunching me with all these moments... R.I.P James Earl Jones, the one True King❤🦁👑
The Lion King has come a long way! It will forever be one of the best Disney Movies ever, it's also one of the funniest all because of Timon and Pumba! Heck, even Scar can have some hilarious moments too. We all will miss James Earl Jones as Mufasa though.😁🥺🦁🐗
The ending of The Lion King is an absolute moment. The score , the music, the animation. The moment when Simba ascends on Pride Rock and Rafiki just nods at him still gives chills.
Another moment which deserved at least in honorable mention is "We are one" in the end of the sequel, when Kiara repeats to her father what he said himself, but in a larger meaning, which doesn't limit to Pridelanders. When Simba song that at the beginning, it was to follow great kings of the past, but Kiara repeats same words in order to do the contrary, move away from ancient mores. Not only she denounces her father's racism (contrary to Zira who was banned because of her loyaulty to Scar, ANONYMOUS "Outsiders" are... OUTSIDERS). And the music in this scene is the same that when Simba said to Kovu Scar was dead because of his own acts, so between lines, this scene says that Mufasa is dead not really because of Scar, but beacause of ancient morals whose hyenas had been victims.
Simba's ascension should be at least number 1 or 2, it still made me cry after this day. There's something so beautiful about watching Simba roar victoriously as King after overcoming grief, self-doubt and betrayal while his loved ones watched in awe. Simba hugging Rafiki as a way of thanking him also hits hard.
"How can I go back?" *pauses* "I'm not who I was back then." "Remember who you are. You are my son. And the one true King." Simba's line in this scene is most relatable. But we shouldn't forget who we are now and were before, even if there is no turning back the clock. The Simba vs Scar fight always gives me chills. I can only imagine how it would look if it was humans (or another animal species) fighting like that instead of lions.
James Earl Jones will forever be the best actor who voiced Mufasa Mufasa telling Simba about the Great Kings of the Past is my favorite scene in the film
The Lion King is my favorite Disney movie of all time. The music, the visuals, the vocal performances, the message. All of it. And James Earl Jones will live on forever in it and every new piece of The Lion King franchise. Rest well sir. Thank you so much.❤
That scene from the movie when Mufasa appears before Simba, and coupled with the flow of the music, it really felt like every trauma of the past had been undone and couldn’t hurt me anymore, I felt true happiness at that scene, my world blackened out for a bit til he said “Remember Who You Are, you are my son, and the one true king” and everything came back on and I was reborn
The way they opened Mufasa made me cried and I don’t cry in open, I also love the broadway reference and if you missed it you must of not seen the stage
It’s hard to believe no one thought this would be a smash hit. The Lion King is Disney at its best, they have never EVER been able to reach this level again. Not only their best movie, by far, but the best animated movie of all time. Period.
The movie itself impacted my life throughout my childhood, believe it or not I’m 34 and I have seen The Lion King for 30 years. It’s very nostalgic for me, but I have to say it’s something about Scar’s death I found thrilling now that’s a mark in the top moments on my list including Kiara’s betrayal speech to Simba.
The Not One Of Us part/song gets angry and disgusted at Simba EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Because of how harshly he treated Kovu. (And also to Kiara as well) ▪︎ And not only he he broke his daughter's heart, but ALSO the *Circle of Life.*
Mufasa's death and the entire "A King's time as ruler rises and falls like the sun" soliloquy hits much differently now that James Earl Jones is no longer with us... May he rest in peace.
