I started watching Precure for one reason, I looked at the stats page on my anilist and saw that "male protagonist" was very high so I started actively seeking out shows with Female protagonists, precure was right there ready for a watch, started around when Healin good was starting and I caught up to everything near the middle of Hirogaru, now I have the movies to get through. I watched them in production order which was a treat seeing some of the influences of the prior works and the evolution of the formula throughout. my favorite Season has to be Heartcatch loved the characters, the story, and the choreography. precure is such a good series and worth sitting through. very informative video here thank you.
Much like you Tropical Rouge was initiated me to the framchise for much of the same reasons. A personal advice for anyone who wants to get in to it is to leave the first 5 seasons (Futaria Wa to Yes 5) as the early-middle part of your full watch. They do have a lot of strong moments, but they can also be very dull (and in the case of Yes 5 and GoGo a bit too Sailor Moon derivative.) So better not have them as your first imlression, but also not end your watch-through with them
I got into Precure by starting with Heartcatch, the series that started my journey and I never regretted it ever since ^^ Then i watched the recent seasons starting with Star Twinkle and then i watched the previous seasons before that after seeing the movies that featured them ^^ Great video as always ^^
I also watched glitter force back in 2016, and then i really really wanted to watch futari wa pretty cure so i watched two episodes on a dodgy website and got a virus from it😭 so, I’ve never gotten to properly watch it yet (but i absolutely will do someday), however! I probably watched every single series intro about a million times back then and i still remember a few of them LOL I think the season that was on at the time was kirakira precure!
Lol I've taken a chaotic approach to Precure. I started with Hirogaru Sky last year after bouncing off of Delicious Party the year before (idk maybe I'll try it again sometime), then watched Kira Kira and now I'm nearly done with Star Twinkle. I have Happiness Charge and Suite on the docket after that. I tend to just find seasons that Sound Cool to me and I don't personally feel as interested in the seasons that are the most popular among Western fans. Idk why! But hey, the chaotic approach is fun too 😂

They told me to start with Futari wa so I did and i watched every season in order up to Mahotsukai and ive been watching precure every week ever since, except in 2020-2022 because i was going through stuff during covid but i jumped back on the last few episodes of delicious party. I also watched healin good and most of tropical rouge and then hirogaru sky every week after that etc.
I got into procure right as maho girls was ending! I had just finished watching little witch academia and LOVED IT so I went back and watched all of maho girls to catch up while Kira Kira was ending 💕☺️ I wanted more magical girl media!!! And precure delivered! 🥰🌈🎀 lovely video, a great intro to the show ☺️🩷
my first ever precure was Healin good precure because the leader, Nodoka Japanese Voice actor is Aoi Yuuki, the same person that voice Kaname Madoka from Madoka Magica... Madoka and Nodoka name also kinda similiar..
Is it ok if I ask where to watch precure? There’s a lot of seasons that aren’t on crunchyroll for me, and I’d like to know where to watch the rest of it
Good question!! They seem to be slowly adding more to CR- there’s now 8-10 seasons depending on your region I believe, so maybe they’ll have the whole franchise soon! Unfortunately a lot of the pirate sites I use have been taken down in the big wave of strikes lately, but I’m using 9anime . Vip at the moment!

Omg I LOVE Aikatsu!! I really want to make a video about it eventually! I discovered it during lockdown, it really helped me get through it!
