It Pays To Be Accu-Rate...Installing Simon Innovations Accu-Volume Kit (4/12/24)

In this episode, Matt and Andy show step by step how to install the Accu-Volume kit from Simon Innovations on their R series John Deere sprayer that Matt saw at the Farm and Machinery show. Matt explains the difficulty in accurately filling the John Deere sprayer's tank accurately with the existing equipment and how the Accu-Volume kit will allow them to be much more precise in their pesticide application. But first the crew at Griggs Farms must do some suspension repairs to their New Holland tractors.

Bladder accumulators require nitrogen top off occasionally. Bladders do allow permeation thru the rubber over time. Should be a typical tube type valve stem in the end of the bladder fixed thru a plate so you can use a pressure gauge to check your nitrogen recharge. If not, you should be able to make this happen.

That is awesome. Sure would take the guess work out of how many gallons you have in the tank. I’d like to find an in line flow meter or something, because I’m sure the system you purchased probably costed what my sprayer is worth😂😂

Dad would have said (GET THE F ING THING IN THE FIELD NOW AND GET IT DONE) I'm 56 Dad thought it was a waste of time cleaning the windows. No patience to set up something like that today Matt. LOL
