    Just finished installing the Tidy. Thank you for your video it made it much easier. That being said…four hours later…done. I needed to take screenshots as the wiring was challenging. The stock wires required my looking closely at your work to figure out what goes to what. Thank you again.

    I fitted mine 2 weeks ago and there were a few snags for me- firstly cutting the cable tie for the loom under the swinging arm which you haven't shown and was really awkward; secondly as a tech I assumed the 3 wires would be colour coded to the lamp but for reasons best known to Evotech they aren't 🙃; lastly the 2 chrome bolts you reused on the seat panel are identified wrongly in the instructions as being 2 in the fixing kit which are too big. Other than that, very pleased with the result as I've never liked those tyre hugger contraptions. Greetings from the UK.

      @MotoMachines  3 роки тому +2

      We had the issues you listed as well. As far as the wire loom is concerned, Evotech Performance does point out the correct way to wire the taillight in the instructions, tripped us up as well because it was down in the corner. Just have to make sure to look through them!

    Normally, not something I get worked up over, but this change looks really nice without replacing the turn signals for invisible dots. And given they work so well with the bags, takes it from cutesy to road worthy. Well done!

    I may have missed it but the video doesn't seem to show you tightening the bolt not to be removed at 6:22, may catch somebody out following it and forgetting to tighten it back up after pulling the cable through.

    Just the video i was looking for showing the dismantling, including wiring, of the number plate and rear light mount. Great - useful to know how to swap indicators.
    You should perhaps amend the title to include "instillation" as there's loads of vids showing accessories but few with the detailed dismantling and assembly shown in yours.

    good info, but wondering about the nut you are loosening at 6:25. it says to loosen it but not to take it off. Why are you loosening it at all? I don't see a wire behind it, is that just to free the wires?

    I did not understand the whole video, I would love it if they recorded this video with step by step for people not experienced in the subject, since there are shots that, due to the position of the person who makes the modifications, do not allow a good view of the process as it should be.

      If the number plate was any further in it would catch the tyre over bumps. It looks this way because the seat is so stubby at the back. I think it's been made this way with safety in mind.

      It honestly totally depends on the look you're going for. I personally dislike when motorcycles have the plate mount that the trident comes with, just not my thing. For a traditional plate mount that is extremely high quality, you simply can't go wrong with this one.
