That is a big ass CNC, Professional grade. When you said lathe I was thinking something a little smaller. Very nice score Jimmy !! man that F350 took a beating in a short time. broken axl and still driving. gotta love the Ford Trucks.
We were forewarned about truck by his willingness to drive the Lincoln out there! 🤠 You have Jimmy working pretty hard there. I think he has one of the better nicknames on UA-cam--"JetSki Jimmy"!
How we moved a heavy safe is just get it up enough to put some 1/2 round bar under it.. and then you can just keep throwing more round bar under it as you roll along like a conveyer belt; it rolls easy like it has wheels on it.
Great towing job guys,👍, but I really can't wait to see Jimmy's new CNC-toy in action,👀, I hope you give us a peek at it soon,🤞, great video guys, thanks for sharing.
I really can't decide what was more impressive: the handling of that heavy chunk of metal (CNC machine) or easily pulling the "2WD" truck up that steep hill. Merlin surely does make it look easy... 😎🤟
Wow that guy really bet the CRAP out of that truck... Merlin you did a great caring for that truck an getting it out...Hope Jimmy enjoys that cnc lath..
Beer Glasses and Whiskey Throttle, get you every time !!! Great score on that lathe, excellent recovery, Good Good Video !!!!!! Always a Pleasure !!!!!
Your Tow tuck is a beast and the best looking one at that out of all the tow trucks on UA-cam. Time to make some money with your new/old machine you bought also. Great video as always Merlin and Jimmy
As a kid I had Saturday cartoons, now I have Sunday Merlin’s old school garage 😎. Merlin and Jimmy gettin stuff done is so entertaining 😂. Just noticed Jimmy’s old 2nd gen got some really round rear fenders 😎
The CNC will be a welcomed addition! Merlin, you and Jimmy are old-school two peas in a pod! You get the job done! Keep up the great content! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next...
The CNC Lathe is Game Changing, Looking Forward to You getting to Know Her a Little Better. See What She’s Made of, or …. What She can Make?!?!? I’m So Exited. Nope not really but the Tow Truck is Applaudable Merlin. Jet Ski Jimmy, What can You Say about a Living Legend that Hasn’t Been Said?!? That You Gentlemen, Keep It Safe Out There Fella’s.
Hitachi Seikis are good solid machines. Too bad they are gone now. Hard parts will be a little difficult to find but they made a lot of those machines. Its got a Fanuc or Yasnac control. They are around and very helpful. Good luck!
Merlin of all our off road recovery guys and their trucks and cars of the art of recovery. Your truck is the badest one on the block. I simply love the windshield tilt out. Merlin nice rig.
Wow Merlin, now you have a big,big magic wand to be able to make anything your mind comes up with in the future. Love, love the Ole tow truck. Keep up the great work. Love the channel. Always learn something new every video Merlin, thanks for taking us subscriber's along for the ride. ✌️👍😎😁🍀🍀🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Nice machine congrats on the score!! You would love the monster fork trucks they use in the port of Houston to move and stack containers. They are behemoths but really cool machines.
I drove a Nissan versa lift 45/65 once. It will pick up a fully loaded trailer, truck included. 45k lbs, with the counterweight on a hydraulic ram that moves it out and increases the capacity to 65k lbs. What a monster!
Paul’s wrecker is pretty sweet, Rory’s wrecker is pretty awesome, your’s is pretty unstoppable! I’m might be a bit biased though as I love the PURE POWER of diesels!
Awesome afternoon brother another awesome adventure brother great addition to the shop !!! Going to be an awesome adventure as always hope yall have an awesome day
Ive sacrificed a car to the trail gods before . Glad to see you can get a " round two" out of the truck. I like the work smart , not hard attitude . Good stuff Merlin (and friends). thanks
Enjoying your video from a hospital bed again, had more surgery for an aneurysm that has come back, but anyway fixed now all is good. Loves Sunday a lot of you guys post your content on a Sunday
Wow!! That is some lathe!! I can't even imagine all the new projects you can do now!! That guy with the Dodge was in a bit of a pickle!! Poor truck! If that was an insurance claim it would be totaled for sure! LOL!! Nice job getting him out with Tow Mater!! I know now why you take Jimmy along. 😆
I have for years worn white shirts while working out in the heat of summer. The other guys had their black shirts on and would be in the shade while I kept working.
Great job by the wrecker and the whole crew. I'm thinking maybe more off road recovery people should consider diesel power. I can think of one in particular that at one time would never have a winch or hated using them and that changed! Even though I love the gas engines too, I think the torque and dependability of the diesel is the way to go!
Damn Marlin! We had an perfect singing 12v Cummins over the top, and you put music over it!??!!?? I vote for a UA-cam shorts with the end pull of this video. 😂🤘
The Ford driver hammered that pickup everywhere. The before and after pictures really show the damage. Almost looks like the frame is bent. May want to look into acquiring another vehicle.
Great work! Funny how folks get carried away when they decide to go off-road! Reality can be a sharp pain in the pocket book! Off-roading is a sport that requires an off-road vehicle and a cool approach! I watched many friends in the mud in Oregon.....and at Sand Lake in Oregon. Things can get western anytime! Sometimes on purpose....or not!!
Back in the 70's when I worked for Moroso Performance, back when they still manufactured their stuff in America, and before they sent most their manufacturing to China, we used one of those Hitachi CNC lathes to manufacture parts.
Love the before and after. "Was there alcohol involved? "no comment" That was classic!
That was a hoot, Merlin. I imagine that the words "hold my beer" were said at some point.
That is a big ass CNC, Professional grade. When you said lathe I was thinking something a little smaller. Very nice score Jimmy !!
man that F350 took a beating in a short time. broken axl and still driving. gotta love the Ford Trucks.
Glad Jimmy is alway there to help, he is a great friend to do everything you need !!! Jimmy help make the show great!!! And as always a great show
Another beast mode recovery.×2. Skill and knowledge saved the day. Jimmy is always a great sidekick.. Great edit job 👏
Merlin and Jimmy to the rescue one hell of a wrecker. Nice cnc. Thanks for the ride along.
Nice lathe!
Nice recovery!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦

Congrats on your new lathe machine Merlin, I am sure you're happier than a pig in slop.
When it comes to impulse buys, a CNC lathe is right up there!
Your Wrecker is a monster.
That was a pretty nice truck at one time, it puts new meaning to “ Driver Returned On Foot”
Great towing job guys,👍, but I really can't wait to see Jimmy's new CNC-toy in action,👀, I hope you give us a peek at it soon,🤞, great video guys, thanks for sharing.
Your old wrecker is such a beast

Lessons learned. Life is never as easy as pushing rewind and do over!
I had to push rewind at the 4:50 mark because it looked like the forklift was moving sideways at first.
Wow that guy really bet the CRAP out of that truck... Merlin you did a great caring for that truck an getting it out...Hope Jimmy enjoys that cnc lath..
I'm glad he had at least two wheel drive. All help is appreciated.
Wish i had a friend like Jimmy
Beer Glasses and Whiskey Throttle, get you every time !!! Great score on that lathe, excellent recovery, Good Good Video !!!!!! Always a Pleasure !!!!!
What a bummer about how they treated that thing. WAS a nice truck .... Even if it's a 6.0...
Some 03’s were 7.3
@@trialnterror Yeah I have a buddy with an early 03. But the one in the vid is definitely a 6.0. Which once bulletproofed, is a rocket ship.
The from and body on that truck are a disaster
not with that door decal though.@@trialnterror
It needs some of Roby Laytons TLC now
Your Tow tuck is a beast and the best looking one at that out of all the tow trucks on UA-cam. Time to make some money with your new/old machine you bought also. Great video as always Merlin and Jimmy
Thanks 👍

Really nice cnc machine. Great job on the recovery......
You and Jimmy get to have too much fun. Love your "Baby" wrecker!
Nice video ! Even in the Heat ! Thanks for sharing !
AWESOME MACHINE FOR SHOP!
My first career I was a machinist and I programmed CNC lathes and mills. After completing college I switched and went to work for Cisco (38 years).

You would be a handy, handy, handy friend in my world. But I'll settle 4 just watching u on UA-cam. Thanks 4 taking me, us along.
Love your old trucks..❤❤❤❤
Thanks for making. By the look of the truck things went way south.
great illusion of a fork lift moving sidewaze
Took me a couple seconds too ;)
Merlin of all our off road recovery guys and their trucks and cars of the art of recovery. Your truck is the badest one on the block. I simply love the windshield tilt out. Merlin nice rig.
Jimmy gets a CNC and I’m over here happy I just bought and setup my first drill press…thank you for another great video Merlin!
You and Jimmy are an awesome team! God bless you all and keep you safe!
Nice work all around Merlin. Looking forward to what you make with the new lathe.
Merlin is no nonsense to this young customer. I respect that.
Thanks for the awesome content Merlin and Jimmy, I appreciate what ya'll do!
I don't think Jimmy would have been to upset about a chip in concrete having that CNC dropped off. 🤔 smooth recovery of the flogged F350
Nice machine congrats on the score!! You would love the monster fork trucks they use in the port of Houston to move and stack containers. They are behemoths but really cool machines.

Its that unstoppable torque combined with enough iron in the front to keep the front wheels biting 😂
All purpose built for their terrain
The terain and bad judgment can be hard on equipment. Great save tough truck.
Great job guys! Awesome to see the 'ol wrecker out again! 🤘
Good stuff Merlin (and friends). thanks
Merlin! You are the best, from an old Richfield guy! I love your life!
Enjoying your video from a hospital bed again, had more surgery for an aneurysm that has come back, but anyway fixed now all is good. Loves Sunday a lot of you guys post your content on a Sunday
Oh yeah, I can hear it now....hold my beer; I'm gonna try this wash! Should be easy...or maybe not!
Nice recovery. I really like that ol'Chevy!
Wrecker killing it once again! That old Ford isn't totalled like he thinks bob it put rock sliders and skids keep crawling it
Wrecker did good, reasonable amount of weight in that F350. New machine looks the goods for sure.
Great recovery Merlin and Jimmy. The Wrecker makes it look Too easy, lol.
Always a great video
It's 105 degrees out and Merlin and Jimmy are wearing black shirts.😁😁
I have for years worn white shirts while working out in the heat of summer. The other guys had their black shirts on and would be in the shade while I kept working.
But it's a dry heat! Lol
That's one nice tow truck!
Of all the wreckers, yours is the best badass of all! Nice recovery, Merlin. 👏👍👍
The wrecker is a monster for reals. Good work as always.
Great video, thumbs up thanks for bringing us along on your adventures, always in Merlin style 😎
, that will be a nice addition to the shop. I worked as a mechanical design engineer for Cincinnati Milacron. Designed many component of CNC lathes.
Excellent CNC Machine Merlin and jimmy Great recovery
Another Great Video 👍
Hitachi seiki makes good machines,
I ran one of their horizontal mills for years. When u get it running show some videos 👍🏻
I enjoy your videos best. No gimmicks, no gratuitous drama, no senseless foolishness, like some of the others.
Thanks for the tour of my old playground. I covered every trail 20 years ago and it looks the same. Coming back when I retire in just 3 years.
The things people do with trucks! Great rescue in the heat. All with no hats or water.
Great job by the wrecker and the whole crew. I'm thinking maybe more off road recovery people should consider diesel power. I can think of one in particular that at one time would never have a winch or hated using them and that changed! Awesome content, Merlin! Thank you. Good job Jimmy.
Damn Marlin!

😂🤘
Nice work you made it look easy!
I finally got my first diesel! Its a 5.9 cummins with the p pump.
Tearing it down to powder coat the frame.
Merlins magic old-school garage❤❤❤
The Ford driver hammered that pickup everywhere. The before and after pictures really show the damage. Almost looks like the frame is bent. May want to look into acquiring another vehicle.
Nice job guy's there's something about getting breakfast after that makes you work even harder lmao thanks for the video
Yup. Been rolling them hills in Havasu for many, many years. All too familiar scenario. Thanks for sharing.
It looks like the dodge from the film twister, but after it got sucked up :D
16:40 - 42ish.. what's that pretty jade colored petrified log looking rock thing.. nice (off to right aftee bend)
Nice recovery,, Maryland Jimmy, another one under They're belts. Keep ongoing, keep on keeping on, thanks.
"Was alcohol involved?" Probably didn't even need asking. LOL! Great job!
Never miss a video, you are the man Merlin!
Great recovery 😜. Kinda surprised that you got him out so easy 😂. Thanks for sharing everyone.
Heck yeah. Wrecker action 👍👍🇺🇸
Keep the great work hope you have a great day
Always a great time. A joy to watch. 😊
Sweet machine. Ran a Morey Seiki years ago.
Great work! Funny how folks get carried away when they decide to go off-road! Reality can be a sharp pain in the pocket book! That building looked like a good spot for you to work in.
Good stuff, that wrecker is a beast! 👍
That's just amazing to me that someone in any state of mind would put one of those trucks in that position at all!
Luckily there parts everywhere for that truck.
That ol 23 channel cb radio is as old school as it gets right there merlin.that was our car phone at one time
Good Sunday morning wrecker saving the day . Remember Respect Sunday 🙏✝️
Great unloading job….i should have known better but i expected a trail of tears,,,😜👍👍
Back in the 70's when I worked for Moroso Performance, back when they still manufactured their stuff in America, and before they sent most their manufacturing to China, we used one of those Hitachi CNC lathes to manufacture parts.
