Merlin , your builds are unlike anything you see nowadays on the Tube . To see a guy who takes as much meticulous devotion to their builds while having the knowledge of a NASA tech. is uncommon. Love all your builds and your principles ( “ re-use , re-build , lower budget , and No-handouts” ) I hope your channel surpasses all your expectations !!

Ah! I notice a Little Shop manufacturing shirt! Though I'm in Australia I have sourced some of my gear from them for my Suburban (not very common in Oz) Love your winch idea, ever since the synthetic ropes came out I had been wondering at the endless possibilities & you've proved it. It goes to show the importance of mechanical knowledge, especially at those times! While I might not be a Jeep fan, you have done well with that build 👍

Merlin, one of the good guys from the Wrecker Games, Casey LaDelle, has had his roll back truck in the shop for about two months. The shop has not been able to figure out what is wrong with his Cummins engine. I've suggested to him that he contact you because you are the Cummins guy and may be able to diagnose his problems. You are the best Cummins mechanic I have ever seen and he could sure use the expertise.
Anyway if the two of you get together and you can help he will be grateful.
    That's about it for today.

Unfortunately most go for chrome and glam not actual working parts. I was at a 4x4 show that gave the trophy to a yota with nothing but chrome and blocks, it had some much lift you could not turn the front drive line with out blowing a yoke. The runner up was a work of engineering genius, he kicked in the hubs and left 4 trails of rubber leaving the lot..

Merlin When I first saw you when Paul came to your place I thought to myself he looks familiar and just as fast I said that's Merlin that I saw on the Welder Up show. You were the guy there that came in to make things run. You are very talented and a great builder.

I love your videos I wish the language was softer as my kids watched the c10 videos with your nephew and got hooked, I turned down the sound but please remember the things you build we want our kids to get involved in cars of all kinds too. I've got a 1928 ford roadster pickup that was a race car that I've saved, so I've got the wheels turning for them too. This was a great video with fiends having a great day.
