It's almost 3AM, but I can't stop binge watching your MGS summaries. You tie the entire lore together succinctly, which is something I've always wished for but never seen.
The phone call at the end was ocelot informing the president that the inferior clone won the battle, liquid was actually the superior(dominant) clone were as solid was inferior, only liquid knew since childhood of the cloning project.

Metal gear was the reason I became a gamer I played a demo disc that had metal gear solid on ps1 in 97, I put so many hours into that game when I finally got the full version, mgs2 was only reason I got a ps2. Every metal gear solid was a masterpiece.
in all honesty, your pure playfulness as you summarize such a convoluted game in a digestible way not only adds some comedy that had me giggling but also makes the game so much easier to understand things that i didnt before. ty for these, my only question is- Is this playlist in chronological order of story orrrr? i wanted to play sons of liberty and snake eater myself but want to get the information i needed to understand any implications of them in future games.
Brilliant recap, really keen on the series after the hype of The Phantom Pain. Basically just going over all previous games getting a jist of what's going on. Turns out i couldn't have picked a more complicated story to jump on board with! Starting to understand it now after many wiki searches and recap videos and this is the best i've come across, good work. Hopefully i can cram the games in with my 3rd year of uni!

ItsAmandaLemon It'll be my first MGS. I got a free copy of it with my new graphics card so this was super helpful! I've heard so much about it, can't wait to experience it :D
Thanks for doing these. I got ground zeroes and tpp and I wanted to know the story so far. Finished ground zeroes and I immediately wanted to know wth is going on 😂 because the game is so cool.
@@ItsAmandaLemon it did. I watched the movie version of all games too to get more invested in the characters 😂. Unfortunately most of these games cannot run on pc. I wish they remake snake eater.
Ehm *cough* Just a little correction. Snake's Revenge is not part of the series and not made by Hideo Kojima. Kojima was not involved on the NES versions. His first two games (Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake) was from the beginning only released in Japan on a console called MSX2. Today, Kojima's first two MG games are included in MGS3: Subsistence for PS2 or the HD version of MGS3 for PS3 and 360. :-)
If any story would help people get ready for TPP it would be Snake Eater and/or Peace Walker, MGS1 has nothing to do with what's waiting for us on The Phantom Pain :)
