I bought a set a few years ago and had no issues at all. Now its time to replace them and I find out Venom power changed manufacturers and were having tons of issues recently. All my local tire shops completely dropped them. They said constant issues and venom power refused to warranty anything. Just a heads up for everyone.
Fuller never left, he just also has another full time so he just pops in when he can. We will be sure to let him know he is still loved and have him pop in more often!
I had the venom mt’s. Personally liked them and never had an issue. But once I switched to a more quality brand I realized some things I hadn’t before in general quality of ride, road noise, and just overall comfort. Of course any chunky tire your gonna have road noise but switching to a different brand that road noise was cut almost in half. The venoms seem to be more on the stiff side so I noticed a softer and smoother ride with other more quality brands. But like I said other than issues I’ve heard others having with the venoms, I think it’s a decent tire you’re just getting what you pay for. Nothing wrong with them and good for the lower price. But if your willing to spend more, I’d recommend doing so
I’ve run the xt for the three seasons and the ice hunters… love em both no issues both around 30-40k wearing good for what I paid coming from cooper rugged treks
Iive on th eastern sierras and we see over 600 inches of snow per season up here. The tires everyone uses up here are falken wildpeaks, and cooper discovers. But the sleeper pair I have been running lately is the patagonia XT. Such a good and soft compound in the cold.
Venom Power is heavily underrated in the offroad community. I've been in sand, snow, ice, mud, sleet, rain.. My Terra Hunter XTs have kept me moving through it all.
I got the Ice hunters. Southern Ontario got some wild weather the last week and a bit. So far they're really good. They sing a little which I don't love but seriously for the price, I'm not mad.
I got Venom Terra Hunter MTs on my truck when I bought it and they lasted 15,000miles…very disappointed hoping it was a bad batch but they were rotated every 3500-4000 miles whenever I did an oil change. They also had a vibration ONLY at 45mph
@@venompowertireshonestly I like that yall reply to these comments. It's awesome seeing brands give advice and thank-yous to its customers or future customers. I work in a continental plant in Illinois. I have decided to buy some tires from the company. but I gotta get different rims for my truck. since I got 15 inch rims and most bigger tires r for 17s and up. But would like to be able to drive through my yard on a wet day.
Did they fix the balancing issues they had in the past I like the look of the tires but afraid of buying them do to bad reviews for balancing and flat spots
I have the r/t and they sound like an airplane going down the road, but I absolutely love the road noise they give. I'm not sure how anyone could say they are quiet at all cause they are not lol.
Watched all your winter tires episodes and love them. I would love to know and see you guys demonstrate. Is their better or worse handling in the snow with stock wheels vs offset wheels? I've got stock wheels and 275/60 on my 02 dodge ram 1500 and on my 2016 ram 1500 I've got 305/55 with -24 offset. I'm wondering if 1 will handle better than the other. Love you guys!!
Looking at 20-inch wheels 275 60 R20 tires. Primary use is for the street/highway that is less noisy. Looking for something good on wet roads. Looking at the RAGNAROK GTS. Any input on this Ragnarok GTS tire?
@@ItalianAXEMurdererthe Terra Hunter R/T is 3peak mountain snowflake rated. This tire in the video is the SwampThing A/T and M/T Both Mud + Snow rated but not 3pms Edit: just read customs reply up top. I was told by another dealer the Terra Hunter R T was 3pms
Anything that runs more than a 20” rim is a mall crawler. Off road performance other than a dirt road. Those pretty trucks just will not play in the rough stuff.

I get it tires are expensive! But why would anyone spend $4K plus on some American Force or other high end wheels and then buy these second hand brands over the reputable proven brands! I had a set a few years ago and they were impossible to balance. Never again I'll spent the extra cash!
Venom Power tires are anything but 2nd hand. They're tough as all hell, decently quiet on the street (Terra Hunters), and they're 10 ply!!! A lot of people in Southern Delaware are starting to run VP's cuz of how reliable and strong they are.
Never had a set myself but I understand some of the early molds had imperfections that led to difficult balancing or inability to balance. They've (allegedly) improved their QC since. Debating on getting a set myself. But...I have stock wheels lol.
What is the point of putting 30" wheels with itty bitty M/T tyres on a 10" lifted truck? Completely useless off road, downright dangerous at driving & cornering, unsafe at speed, can't carry a load, and makes you look like an absolute weak punk, why do you want that? Is it just a vanity thing? You want to show off how rich you are from crypto or drug dealing? That you would just blow a heap of money on useless chrome and flashy crap, fully retarded, I do not get it.

Are the swamp thing at snow rated like the rt + or similar in snow ?
The Swampthing A/T is "Mud & Snow" rated like the Terra Hunter R/T+. However, neither tires are not 3MPSF rated. I hope that helps.

I have a question: Will a 33/12.50R17 tire fit on a 17×9 rim??
