Well done Mike! You did such an excellent job! Your sons reaction is what it's all about! Having your favorite Big Boy in your roster is so cool, and it's even more special that you created it! - Ryan
Thanks so much! We’ve had a blast running it all week. Even went up to Kenefick a second time to bring my nephew. He and my son were running 4023 and 4014 around the layout for a good portion of the afternoon together.
Yes, the LionMaster line has really been a favorite of ours for that reason. I’ve made plenty of videos covering the different designs of these O31-taming Behemoths. Check em out!
Yay, thank you for making a whole entire video about my question. It was probably multiple people that ask that but I feel like I was the first one that.
Amazing video, love the history lesson, always great to learn more about the models we own and run. The look on your sons face was priceless! You did such a good job on that pilot, not sure how you got those handrails so perfect! The paint job on the pilot is perfect too, looks original.
Great video. The excitement in your son's eyes when he realized it was your 4023 Big Boy (to keep) is worth all the trains in your collection. KUDOS on another LionMaster promotional video😉
Excellent work on converting to 4023 including the soundset. I saw the website link for the decals in the video, I think I can find a lot of use for that site, thank you. Did you use heat to remove the previous decals? Were there spots on this you needed to cover over or remove paint (front logo maybe)?
So nice! That Big Boy is so cool! Your son reminds me of myself, when I was a little boy. My dad and I would set-up my brother’s Lionel trains in our basement and we would run them in and out of a station that we put together. My dad would take me to see the NYC passenger trains, coming through Toledo. Great times and memories, for sure. An excellent video, as always.
Wonderful video. So nice to see your son's excitement.

Haha thanks! I feel like somebody’s gotta carry the flag for LionMaster! Might as well be me 😅

It turned out great!
Very Cool to have the real one and the model together. That picture would be great. To make into a poster ! Plus a cool Christmas gift for your son.
Super !!
Great 👍🏾 job Mike
Everyone, this is the last big boy that'll get a chance to be restored (also the last Survivor)
I WANT THAT CENTENNIAL IN LEGACY
I believe there is a few older legacy equipped versions. I personally would like some Lionmaster versions! Love the centennial!
