Philosopher Brandy narration for the win!
🥰😊
@@BeauAndBrandy 👍👍👍
When I was in the Navy I'd go up on deck, and no matter where you looked there was only water in all direction, made you realize how small you are. Very humbling!
Very humbling! 🌊🌊🌊⛵️🌊🌊🌊
I so enjoy the gentle nature of your videos. Calming, relaxing and your soft touch is so appreciated.
Thank you so much, we appreciate that!!
Brandy is both a video artist and philosopher
I love being on the ocean and feel blessed do be out on the water every week🌊⚓️💕
💙 💙 💙 💙
A really beautiful beach
Great video. Love the sounds of the sea. Ya'll be safe. Happy sailing 😊
Thank you!
If there was a contest for the best intro, Brandy would have won it with this episode.
Awww wow!! Thank you 🥰 that is so sweet of you to say.
Great sail.
Awesome video
Thanks so much ⛵️🥰
Based on prior experience did you get a zarpe/exit document from the last place you left from (US). As I recall, Guatemala wants that doc for checking in, otherwise you have to visit Belize for a day, get their exit paperwork before checking into Guatemala.
Correct, you must check out of the US in order to get into Gautamela.

Heyyy
HEY!!
Beau & Brandy, you can understand how peaceful and calming the sea can be during this presentation, just heaven on earth. And, your narration was equally tranquil, THANK YOU. The sail was absolutely beautiful - how wonderful of you to bring us along‼️ Stay safe and enjoy.
Time is drawing near, remember to VOTE‼️
💙🇺🇸💚👍😇
You know we love having you with us, always a pleasure 💛⛵️
How's the weather where you guys are😢
Hot as fire, but no storms are reaching us. Hoping Florida stays stafe!
After watching you two for years I get happiness seeing all the hard work you have done making all the improvements you have done making your sailing more enjoyable for yourselves - ❤ you both
We always love seeing you here, it certainly is special to have your unwavering support 🥰
🧿👍
Do you accept people to sail with you?
Not enough room on little ole saoirse to have guests.
Every week I’m racing or going different locations on the island of Catalina with 2 others we have the best time.
I love getting away from the mainland and honestly could keep on going!
Didn’t sell my Hatteras however my son uses it for his celebrity friends and films on IG, I leave a go to my girlfriends Catalina 320.

😘🐉
... the starz were soo bright, they ghosted you in the foreground... when you moved about the cockpit the galaxies actually appeared with their milky presence... what a 'EasterEgg'
That's quite a contrast from the sailing with that strange squall on your last video. So peaceful and lovely.
Uncle Matty from "Sailing Good, Bad, and Ugly" predicted you were going to get fat when he found out you got the electric windlass. Now that you have the roller furler also, I think you have to be concerned about getting obese! Brandy, your narrative is like poetry. I think that you and Brian from Delos are the cream of the crop when it comes to narration. All the Love. All the power.
What a relaxing video. The roller furling is really paying off for you guys. Thank you for sharing and have a great evening.
What was the altitude of the drone over mast shot? Really cool, and really high!!
Glad you got a window and missed the bad weather. Be safe!
Very poetic.

Love the fan set up. I have fans all over our we just put in. And I have one of the Ryobi cordless fan so when I’m working in tight spot and need air circulation… they are the best aren’t … they ? Also Beam Dream. Love the cinnamon chocolate so yummmm and I like you wake up refreshed…
Be safe my friend. God bless Yous.
Those fans are the BEST! and beam, I love the brownie batter, but the cinnamon chocolate is yummy too!
👍
Maybe trying a heavier weight on your fishing pole to keep your bait deep .
We have planer on it so it dives real deep.
What a cracking sail not that french sparkling wine yuk stuff. But a really nice pint of beer.
This is the best analogy EVER!! 🍻
Hi guys, thanks once again for a wonderful video Brandie you look like you’ve lost a bit of weight are you okay or is this on purpose? Anyway guys keep up the good work always appreciate and love your videos Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 we are on the big island 🏝️
Interesting that it seems like I lost weight, in reality I have gained weight 😎 but everything ok, just how my body does.
would love to see you catching some fish on your travels :) stay safe you two
Us too! Stick around, next week we may or may not land a BIG BOY
Great sail! (I must admit I was getting a tiny bit queasy there, towards the end. 😆) Looking forward to the arrival. 😎🥰❤️🤗
Yes, we purposely turned of the stabilizer in our cameras to give the REAL deal feel! 🙂🙃🙂🙃
😎
That whisker pole is doing miracles.
Definitely!
Awesome video! You two are in the groove!
😍🥰
Out of curiosity do you feel like you are loosing a bit of that solitude and the feeling of truly being alone with Starlink onboard? BTW the narration is superb.
We thought we would struggle with that. But we mainly used it like our iridium that we had before. Check weather, tell ppl we are alive and unplug. So we can make sure that this is still a “mostly” unconnected offshore sail, which is how we like it!
@@BeauAndBrandy Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I’ve been struggling with the decision to replace my Iridium or not with starlink but i’m worried i will loose that solitude that i so cherish. thanks again
You guys are roller furling now
What's next eletric winches lol
Made that crossing in 2001. Was a beautiful sail but went to isla mujeres first then gunk holed the coast to the rio Dulce over a 6 week period. Remember seeing a football field sized area of bright green luminescence that turned out to be a large school of mahi mahi running the surface, under a full moon. Suddenly dolphins showed up and exploded the school, jumping and slamming the water to stun fish. Water flying in the air looking like diamonds in the moonlight. There are no words or pictures that can ever convey what the sea can do for the soul.
Literally got goosebumps reading this!! I can only imagine how beautiful and serene that experience was!! ALL of my favorite things wrapped into one!! WOW!
@@BeauAndBrandy Thank you! Spent a lot of time in that area in a 33 foot cutter rigged sloop. 1963 Sparkman Stephens steel hull named Adios. Used to be a family I was close to that had a dock under the bridge on the south side. Ludwin Aceituno (Luvi) and his wife Emmi. Good rates and food. Been awhile though. Fair winds, I wish I was back out there. Land locked for now.
@@BeauAndBrandy Of course there was also a time trying to unwrap a halyard from around a prop during an unexpected storm in 8 foot seas at 3am while my crew shined a spot light in the water so I could see to work and give the sharks a better look at my taste like chicken legs. Pop up for a breath then back down riding the belly of the stern like a bronco to get one or two wraps at a time undone. Ahhh, life at sea😂
You should have these sounds for a sleep app.... So relaxing 🤗💞
Always good - thanks. If that hot, can you have those port lights open and/or the for'ard hatch if staying on the same tack? Or even sleep in the cockpit?

We are getting the squalls of Helene. Supposely hitting the big bend area Friday early morning. There's a bunch of storms in Gutemala be careful . Helene is supposed to be a Cat 4 when it hits landfall .
Hopefully, Helene didn't give you guys any problems. Looks like there was a tone on rain over your way the last couple of weeks
Good timing glad you have got out of the Gulf and out of the way of Helene!
You aren’t alone. There are two sailors aboard. I sail alone and found that Dyneema thread is best for repairing blown out waist buttons on shorts.
How many watts of solar do you have and how many amp hour batteries - Lifpo4 - right ? It is enough for those not trying to live as if they are on land ?
Thank you!
Can't wait until I am out there
Are you planning to visit Antigua Guatemala? When? OsoYolo, Antigua Guatemala.
Yes we will. Possibly in November
You do make very good quality videos. Well done. Audio and video quality way above the average sailing videos.
Wow! Thank you so much!! That’s very nice of you to say ⛵️
If you get a Strike on the Fishing Rod, you Have to slow down quickly, by turning away from the wind, or you will just rip the hook out of their lip.
We were not going fast. We lost this one while we were reeling him in 😫
I’ve only just started watching you guys, and I’m loving your channel and content. I’ll be watching and following you guys and I’m excited about it. I’m curious as to when you record and post. Most know Hurricane Helene is ramping up, so what day was this recorded?
YAY! Welcome to the channel! We are currently tucked into Guatemala safe and sound! Hoping everyone stays safe from Helene !!
@@BeauAndBrandy Thank you! I truly am enjoying your channel. I’m relieved to hear you guys made it there safe & sound! I’m on the east coast. Helene is getting bigger & bigger, with that said, I will be out tomorrow to make sure I have everything ahead of this. Better to be prepared than not.
After watching many dozens of your videos I noticed you do not have a wind steering vane, have you not felt a need for one?
We would love to have one for sure, but the budget isn’t allowing for it.
Just a nice to have
