I used to walk to the beach and play all day, age 7, no parents. We would watch the whales at day and listen toothed breakers at night. I surfed there this one day with Richard Carlson(rip) in bout 1978. I got so sick that was back before they improved the runoff flow inland right after a rain . Yeah it was bad I learned my lesson

Love all the different boards being ridden and how everyone is just layed back and chill. As a bodyboarder I often get weired vibes from stand up surfers here in Australia.
I know a beach in Florida just a couple miles south of Sebastian Inlet that breaks identical to that wave. If the waves are 4-6 at the Inlet, it's 3-5 at Wabasso, almost directly on the beach 🏖️. I bet an amazing skim wave. Of course there's no river wave, but an awesome body surf/ skim wave. It even barrels and spits when it's real big.

@@BigDaddy-hn7oh in 1983 the sand pulled out and you could surf Aliso when the pier was still there, El Nino. Its a great little beach🤙
