- Pros charge heavy shorebreak slabs and pull off insane tube rides during solid winter swell 2023. Pro shorebreak chargers include Kalani Robb, Blair Conklin, Ian "Gato Son" Gottron, Chris Ward, Chris Waring, Kai "Little Dog" Thompson, Tanner McDaniel, Craig Whetter, Cannon Carr and more. The recent storms washed a lot of trash onto the Southern California beaches, so please help by picking up at least one piece of trash when at the beach!

As a former surfer of 30+ years and now landlocked in Northern Cali, I thank you for the great content you post. I get to see all the spots I grew up surfing and it brings back great memories of some shack time!!

I used to live in Belmont Shore Long Beach and the trouble with the rubbish mostly comes from two sources. 1) The LA River comes out near there and all the pigs in LA that throw stuff in the river comes out. 2) The ships from foreign countries that wait to get cleared into the port all throw their crap overboard.... The locals don't litter the beach..... LA needs a big wake up call! Great surf in this video. Always enjoy what you shoot! All my best! 📷🏄♂

Back in the early 80s we used to surf the river the water was warm from the power plant up stream. Lots of stingrays.

I remember, as a kid, riding the #1 bus, down PCH, and passing Aliso Beach and watching the spraw out of the tubes. Adrenaline kicking in and ringing the bell for the bus to stop at the next bus stop. Just a walk south of 1,000 Steps Beach. Then flying down the steps because I knew that it would be Epic. Enjoy your time there and please clean up and hike out others litter, like we did in The Eighties.
