These girls are very talented musicians, and they are making their mark on the music world. They are multi-intrumentalists as well as being fluent in rock, blues, bluegrass, Americana... what-have-you ! I hope I get the chance to see them live before I die . They have moved on from their native Georgia , which is where I live.
unbelievable!!! shocked!!! i listen to rock since 1973-75. i think nothing can surprize me. these Rock-Ladies can. Life, thank you! LONG LIVE ROCK'N'ROLL!!!
I just discovered this post. I wish I'd discovered it sooner, but better late than never. It's wonderful! Thank you!! Rebecca and Megan bring all their massive talent and uniqueness, highlighting it in this truly captivating performance that is what Grammy Winning Larkin Poe is known for, and in the chilly driving rain and all!
Great recording and what fun they had. Tracklist is: Summertime Sunset Trouble in Mind Don't I Hate The Way When God Closes A Door New Pony (Bob Dylan cover) Jailbreak
Also, the last song right after Jailbreak is, I believe Rebecca said is titled "AC/DC." Saw them do it a few months ago and I didn't recognize it. It was loud in there, but she did say it was a new song they were working on. It's high energy and I hope it's on the new album.
It's fairly rare to have such vocal talent combined with musicianship. Bonnie Rait is one that comes to mind, perhaps Samantha Fish... Stevie Nicks is a great singer, but I never saw her play an instrument like these women do !!
Terry Fitzgerald I agree. Samantha Fish is closest, I think. She's been working at it a little longer and it shows, but these girls are well on their way. This makes me want to see them live.
I love them and Lzzy is great in concert too. Different genre, LP hews closer to classic blues, especially with that slide guitar. There could be some interesting crossover possibilities. Halestorm's New Modern Love or Bad Girl's World come to mind. Trouble in Mind or Jailbreak on the LP side. Funny, I know Lzzy has guitar skills but I never think about them because her voice is a force of nature.
As someone who's played in way too many venues that could have doubled as a walk-in freezer than i would've liked, I can attest that gigging heats you up i no time once you start the set :P. It's like a football match, you come off at the end just steaming like a hot coal. (Then you start to freeze again haha)
Christ, some people are rather rude... 1) She's a woman, not a girl. And why should that affect her ability to be an amazing musician? 2) Megan is just as talented as Rebecca. People vastly underestimate how hard slide guitar is to play, and especially at the standard Megan plays. 3) Megan's backing vocal harmonies are much more challenging than you will ever understand...
+Iona Lane I was actually starting to feel less evolved than the average human, because I don't understand how you can make such vocal harmonies, or even have the ear to be this up to pitch all the damn time. Having a good melodic ear is rather common. Harmonic ear is much harder to develop.
I just love Megan’s no look slide playing. Rebecca wonderful musicianship and energetic stage presence. The perfect combo these two are.
It does my heart good to see guitar based rock n roll like this coming back. This is better than just rock n roll..... this is kick ass rock n roll.

I want know where is the video that the "professional" crew took? The guys getting in the way of JackBauer's camera.
Rock and roll hoochie coo
Rebecca's legs are second only to the music.
And her cheeky demeanour.
on a cold rainy night . . . i'll take the legs . . . . and it just happens to be raining
@@myglaren Or, just her cheeks peeking out ...
It looks cold. Do you think that Rebecca's legs are cold. She's such a hot performer that maybe she didn't feel it! Love the music!!

Heaď Tüdrukud,..... 👌🏀⛅👂🍓👈👈😏
Too bad about the audio
Christ, Lil' Rebecca has some set of pipes for...
1) a girl
2) someone so young
3) someone with such a tallented sista....
