I read a lot that Rollins ruined black flag, he did no such thing, he changed the sound to a more metalish sound. I love all the vocalist to ever enter black flag. I mean jello Biafra and stza crack to me sound the best for punk
It is awesome the durability(the reality encased) of punk. Listen to DK's, Circle Jerks, Angelic Upstarts singing about Afghanistan----totally applicable to today. The real world IN OUR FACE is what makes REAL(compare and contrast "pop punk") punk timeless. Cheers.
Dude, they asked Henry to join. I'm not defending Rollins in any way. For the record, I think he ruined Black Flag. But still, the history of the band has been well-documented. Rollins didn't push himself into the band.

And also Greg Ginn has contributed that they changed their sound from this to "In my Head",( what is by the way my favourite Black Flag record), I can´t imagine that Ginn wanted to do a record like "Jealous Again" or "Nervous Breakdown" over and over again. But well thats just my opinion.

I love Rollins.. I love the slower black Flag.. they expanded their sound no crime man
I like all the vocalists in their respective times. My least favorite has to be Dez though. All the Damaged-era stuff he did Henry did way better.

Yes, after listening to Pat Brown and Terminal Preppie I immediately clicked on this song. The best vocal of all the Black Flag vocalists.

Though I feel Reyes was BF's weakest vocalist this is still top notch, A-1 stuff.
Nervous Breakdown EP is better than this one but just barely. Mostly because "You Bet..." is not that great.
