I feel like I've found my people! I have a collection from way back in the day when I was a tournament player. Thought these cards were worthless. I have like 5000 cards and a ton of ultra rares, misprints etc. This is amazing to see. Thanks for the content!
Thanks for tuning in! We do these one a quarter with a pretty big archive of other content related to the game. There’s still a pretty big base of players and collectors in this game.
Yeah, I sold a Dagobah & EJP sets beginning of Oct. Showed the buyer the most recent sold of the two sets ($145 & $70). So $215 in total, but I sold it to him for $190 (+$10 for shipping) outside of eBay. So not distinguishing between eBay vs sold outside, does prob make the market look worse than it is. Bc in order to compare apples to apples, outside sales u should almost incl a 15% boost to those, just to show potentially what I would have listed for.
Appreciate these updates and the info. IMO, Premier, Dagobah, Cloud City, and DS ll are the sets to invest in. These sets have the important mains, OG Luke, Han, Leia, Vader, Yoda, Boba, and the URs. Think a Jordan rookie card. These characters / cards will always be sought after for playing and collecting. Hopefully the game attracts more and more people in the coming times.
@@pyramidsong Yeah, I get what you mean. My use of "invest" rather than collect is due to the video's angle, market analysis. Just trying to go along with the videos theme. Investing in card games rarely ever pays off and I would never suggest games as a safe place to put your hard earned income. But I do believe the cards I mentioned will remain sought after for years to come due to the characters popularity among Star Wars fans.
At least for me I can say Star Wars Unlimited is eating a little bit into my SW ccg buying. Being one of the people last year on your stats for buying a Reflections 2 box and other boxes, that’s several cases of unlimited so had to shift a little bit since unlimited ended up actually being fun and I play a lot and in local tournaments. Also Altered Tcg is another game for now claiming my time
Great breakdown and definitely not surprising on prices

Ref 2 is my favorite set. Might be time to pickup a complete set!
Never too late! Think there’s some great bargains out there.
Great video as always! Thank you for making these.
Glad you enjoyed it!
☕ Really enjoy these thanks guys and nice to see Darth Grader back 8)
More to come!
Mara Jade is too cool for new SW. Legends forever. ❤
She will be back!! Mark my words!!!

Hopefully though people are collecting this out of passion rather than for speculation/investing.

Yeah, I think there’s just more stuff out there and the pool of buyers isn’t drastically shifting in size across the whole ecosystem.
Yep. For me it is star wars unlimited now. Weekly play and active local scene
Thumbnail implies WB Lord Vader is going to the moon!!
