Cheers, Davy. I enjoy doing them. Especially when I'm getting some great feedback. Hopefully my carving, filming and editing will keep getting better as I go. Thanks mate.

Thanks for the video. Your wood spirit turned out great!
You mentioned you were using the Chris Woods wood whacker as a sander. I was wondering where might I find one? I was considering the sand o flex, but I really like the design on this one.

Have you tried using chalk to mark out the carve lines? I use chalk as it's easy to mark and to erase 👍

Yes Debra, most of the time. You'll see I use it it quite a few of my UA-cam videos. It's a great way of mapping out where everything is going. Wouldn't be without a timber crayon 👍

Sorry, are you asking if I couldn't use one, or you couldn't use one?

Sorry ,,I wanted to say to you prefer electric over petrol chainsaw when carving ?

@stepho9999 I prefer petrol saws. The Echo 2511 wes is quite a bit lighter than my battery saw and getsthe job done quicker. But when I'm in my woodshed the fumes can build up quite quickly (even though I use Aspen). So I use the battery saw. Not tried a plug in electric saw so can't comment on them. Also don't know if you can get a quater pitch sprocket for them to take a carving bar and chain. Hope that helps.
