Right lol, I watch then go carve and I'd get one thing down and forget another part, it's been a progress fs but I'm finally getting it down, did my first wall hanger today n pretty much learned how from Jordy, I just posted it, but you can see my progress from bad to I'm getting there lol but thank you Jordy for all you do, I'd probably still have a stick in my hand I'd it wasn't for you, much appreciated

Bro, thank you very much again for your content. This has really helped clear up a lot is questions I had about translating a wood spirit from a shall Dremel carving, to a bigger chainsaw carving. I had a hard time figuring out how to approach it. It's very clear now. I keep getting closed in, in my head due to anxiety, PTSD and what have you. You're videos have made me life so much better. Carving helps me tremendously ❤️ Thanks again. This one turned out pretty good considering the soft wood and all.

Thanks for making the video. I have 4 large birch logs sitting in the backyard. I might have to give it a shot making a win spirit out of Birch.

Another great wood spirit and in less than an hour, man you make it look so easy, and the blow torch really finishes off the piece, I've got to get my ass into gear and get a gas torch.

Great work Jordy, I'm thinking of trying a small chainsaw carving. Good timing.😊

Came out pretty damn good considering the softness of the wood. Almost as soft as punk wood. Birch bark is used as fire starter, it has a lot of sap/oil in it. You scrape it a little with a knife or scraper and it will ignite with a fero rod. Like fat-wood. Good fire starter. Just sayin. Hi Jordy.

Jordy, birch wood gets punky fast so should it be used as practice wood or does the burning process keep the insects away and better it from deteriation? I think the punky wood can make like a wood spirit actually look better or add to it. Your intro is professional and artsy

Hey Jordy, new subscriber and I'm loving your videos and talent. I notice that your chainsaw blade is loose and I was wondering if that is on propose? Like maybe it makes it easier to carve with or you can make turns with it better? I like to carve with a knife and I make things like wood spirits and I always wanted to try carving with a chain saw but I thought it would be way too hard to learn. But after watching your videos I'm seriously thinking about ditching my fear and giving it a try. At least once or twice. Love your work and I'm sure I will be watching for a long time. Thanks

      Hey Luke thank you,
On carving bars for chainsaws u have to leave the chain looser because there is no sproket at the end of the bar, meaning no sproket and a tight chain would melt or blow apart the carving bar tip
