Jamie Muscato’s version is scary and emotional and super raw. He really puts himself in the character’s shoes. While some renditions are more focused on JD being caught between his desire for Veronica and his bloodlust, and are softer vocally in comparison, Jamie’s JD is beyond redeeming and has taken on a more manic and overall psychotic IMO. If you haven’t seen the Heathers musical, I totally suggest it and there’s a free version floating around online that isn’t the best quality wise but is super enjoyable and it has Jamie in the cast! And if you find another version, all of them are filled with talented casts.

Really great animatic, I love the Unknown flashes and how emotionally expressive these figures are, well done :D
Near the end with those flashes to Unkown was just perfect on so many levels. The way you portrayed the gunshots was also really well done! I like how you used this version of the song instead of the more popular one. This one shows the insanity that is going through the singer's head and fits him just right.

There has never been a song that I thought portrayed Ray more. Especially when he starts to slip into Unknown. This portrayed this so well and the animation was beautiful to go with the song that you could say it was from mystic so heres a like, a sub, and a bell.

I know some people in the fandom adore Ray, but this is pretty much the person he is... He might be better than Saeran, but in the long run, he's also really toxic, manipulative, insecure and obsessed. I like his character and i understand why he is the way he is, i just don't like the idea of him being a love interest...

In my opinion both V and Ray were very annoying. They both was toxic, and sometimes boring. Ray and Saeran were terribly annoying, Ray was acting like I child, while Saeran was just plain annoying. I can't even say what was wrong with him, because I feel like everything was wrong. While V story focuses only on Rika, so basically, MC has no interaction with him. I strongly regret spending my hourglasses on a another story. It was not fun at all, and Saeran don’t even have after ending, so his story is unfinished. I’m disappointed.
@@JxxC-gg4pk sareans after ending will be released, we just don’t know when. I personally really liked Saeran / Ray and didn’t really think he was annoying, the part were he verbally and physically abused the player was very tiresome tho and the whole dad thing seemed weird, like they desperately tried to find a storyline for his route. And yeah V really sucked, I like him the least from all the characters, I just feel like V is beyond saving and being able to love again, unlike Ray who just wants to be loved so hard, that he clings to everybody in reach. Both relationships are super toxic, but I feel like with much work and a shitton of therapy and help, Rays relationship could become healthy
@@youre75waterandimthirsty76 V’s route feels more like Rika route. When I finished his rout, I felt I had wasted 11 days, cuz I honestly hate Rika. Nothing can justify her, she’s just horrible person.
@@JxxC-gg4pk True Rika is a victim of her circumstances, but she’s not meant to be liked or redeemed, V‘s route was more of an exploration into the relationship the two had and a forced love between MC and V
tbh i agree. i enjoyed ray’s character a lot actually, his aura was really endearing, but i feel that the story pushes a savior role onto the mc, moreso than the other routes in casual and deep. it was extremely disturbing how mc was so forgiving of the abuse to get a good end, id even go so far as to say they weren’t affected at all. as someone who experienced a lot of verbal abuse and the like growing up, it triggered a sense of helplessness and i ultimately couldnt bring myself to finish the route and forgive him because mc’s apathy to the whole situation was too disturbing . i believe they could have made him work as a love interest by having him and mc be distanced emotionally in order for them to cope in the immeduate aftemath, but they didn’t execute it well imo. it definitely romanticizes abuse. sjdjej sorry this is so long its just been on my chest for a while

I’m losing my mind because JD reminded me so much of Saeran and I thought the MyMes fandom was dead.....I feel like I just stumbled into a gift I wanted but didn’t know existed...nice job, holy shit. Also your art is incredible! I love your take on Saeran and MC. I also think it’s fascinating how you chose to use V route Mc for this instead of Saeran route Mc....a really excellent detail I didn’t immediately notice. Thank you so much for making this; I’m sure it was a labor of love!
Damn this was beautiful, and the situation fits perfectly with the character (depending on the different endings it could also fit Jumin and even Yoosung, seriously, any of the Mystic Messenger boys could react like this under certain circumstances) and I absolutely love it!!

Omg this is amazing I’m so happy to find someone who still supports this fandom I’ve played for so long but many people left the fandom so I’m glad to see that someone can make something so amazing for it and make it feel like it’s still great!
Mystic Messenger really manged to cheer me up when I was sad back in the days, I guess I'm still very attached to it :) I'm glad to see others who feel the same

Heathers the musical JD acts with a calmish air throughout, even when he’s mad. He doesn’t use much emotion, and when he does it’s prettty yandere.
Heathers West End came out after the original Heathers Musical. In West End, they changed some things, and JD is more emotional (to me)
So if you want this exact song, its Meant to Be Yours from Heathers West End on Spotify and UA-cam I think.
