- Hello everyone!
I'm Poison, and this is the first animatic that I have ever done and shared on UA-cam. I hope it came out well! I did my best to portray Saeran's story and my love for him on this special date
This animatic is inspired by Ray's diary. You can notice that from the very beginning of the video, because Ray's diary is the only Mystic Messenger content that explains in detail how Saeran ended up being part of Mint eye and his life during those months on Another Story.
"After talking with Rika on my way back I saw the suspicious person who had been following me since a few days ago. That person asked for directions and I was answering it when someone covered my mouth with some sort of cloth from behind. And the next thing I know, I awoke in a place that I have never been before" (Ray's diary pg 30).

This animatic is so well-made honestly, I love the part at 3:23 with MC's frightened expression, afraid of being hurt again, to switch to Saeran's smile(!!) reassuring her it won't happen again.

3:05 No deep stuff here, just that it made me remember how Rika is so much shorter than the male characters in Mysme (same, girl)

This is so amazing.... and the fact that you showed his face at 2:05 where he looks afraid was so perfect to show that he was putting up an act because he never wanted to be hurt again and it was what rika told him to do. this whole video is so beautiful and made me cry tbh

Just wanted to say every single time this comes up in my recommended, I watch it without fail. This animatic is SUCH a good representation of the events in Ray's route (and Saeran's diary) - how you visibly personify Saeran's trauma and how the MC can SEE it on the surface of his behavior, the expressions, the body language, the sneaky comparisons of Rika to his abusive mother, Saeran's moment of hesitance before going into MC's room at 1:41 - EVERYTHING,,, this is THE Saeran animatic. Absolutely incredible, you have captured the feelings in this route so so so well.

a detail that i absolutely love is that almost everytime the song goes "you're scaring me" the focus is on a face of a person who is empowered at that moment and could do harm. Rika at 1:06 . Saeran is next at 1:55 and then the believer at 3:14 to take mc to the basement

Oh my god this is perfect!!! I just finished his route for the first time and got the good ending. His route was the only one that actually depressed me because of how terrified and sad I was seeing the pain and torture Saeran (and the believers) had to go through. My boy deserves the world, screw Rika for being a sadistic and horrible person! Keep up the great work ❤️

This is an absolutely gorgeous animatic, the attention to detail, the movements, though not animated, felt living, and this really did make me cry, both from the incredibly sad plot and reminder of all the pain Saeran/Ray went through, but also how purely beautiful your work is!

OKAY OKAY, I could literally watch this over and over again. I like how the colour of the elixir/Saeran's eyes really stood out compared to the black/white themed atmosphere, its just so satisfying. 2:00 is my favourite part because it really conveys Saeran's emotions. I really love how you put so much emotion in this animatic and the characters, GREAT WORK :)
