Just wanted to say thank you for all the insight and knowledge you’re consistently providing for us! @@hahahalol3421 Yes, you can it has to be more towards the plyometrics side but it will increase strength power to a certain point. For example, Matt will not really gain power and strength to it because he already has trained them but someone who has not trained can hugely benefit.

Many bodybuilding channels on UA-cam says that excessive cardio can kill gains.(and their definition of it is somewhat a normal cardio for footballers) I need to bulk up tho since I'm scrawny, so is once a week working on my fitness(runs with progressive overload) will kill gains? Since as footballers cardio is a necessity at the same time what should I do

Work on technique and these exercises. Throw in some chest and back and don't worry about your size. That will come with time. Also, eat more good food.

By doing 30 mins of cardio you will roughly burn 300-500 calories. But the appetite created by that cardio workout will allow you to eat a 1000 calorie meal!
So basically doing cardio will help You bulk better.

But how to recover from such a training, if in a day or two you have training on the field and your legs will be very sore, so you can't give your maximum?
