Hope you don't mind my opinion. I think your deep squat shows an uneven pelvis. I have the same thing and is caused by a tight psoas - looks like you are right dominant. This twist in the pelvis is what causes the extra tightness in your right adductor/groin. Your trainer/physio should be able to assess and release this. I wouldn't normally weigh in here but this plagued me for years even after my playing days were over. Hope this helps.

well studies have shown static stretching leads to more injuries and lower performance before exercise. so dynamic stretching is recommended before activity and leave static stretching like this after you done exercising

Hey Matt, I love your content and I love watching your journey. Recently I broke my ankle. I am just coming back from it today and I was wondering if you could do something for ankle mobility.. You really make these stretches easier because you give good directions and advice on stretches. It would mean a lot if you could. Keep crushing it man.

Could you maybe do some videos to get faster at short distance, I am very good at long distance, averaged 9.6k per game however my top speed was 7.5m per second and I would love to get that to about 8. I love the stretching video. It’s definitely good way to spend 25 minutes the day after a competitive match. I’m 35 years old and I’m still playing second division adult league in Atlanta. Your routines are really helping me in my mobility and preventing injury on the field. On another note, I have also experienced ankle trouble in my left ankle, and I see it’s pretty popular in the comments. I would love to see some ankle mobility, focus videos with bands for strengthening.
I first saw you in the video that went super viral across amateur ballers, (the one starring Gucci). As a 31yo amateur footballer, the routines and exercises you do, are great for me. I'm thankful, there are plenty like me that refuse to settle the competition rhythm into a something more slow paced, and then we got destroyed after each match haha.. Anyway, I started harder with the gym, built some muscle base upper and lower body, to get athletic in exchange for the speed that clearly I've been losing with the ongoing years. Time does not forgive, if at some point you release a speed program for old dudes, I'll be into it ;)

Hey Matt can you do a video on Mimi's normal day in the life of one of your game days? Also would be cool if you did a day in the life, and have a few of your team mates do a day in the life as well, and then you edit the videos in to one. Would be really cool to see the difference between players days. Maybe not a game day, day in the life, but maybe a normal training day, day in the life would be cool!

Can you do a video where you show your ankle strengthening and mobility routine that you mentioned. As a young soccer player myself, a year ago, I fractured my ankle and was out for about 10 weeks. Even until now, it still doesn’t feel 100%. When I jump or do plyometric exercises on my previously injured ankle, I feel my ankle can’t absorb the force and doesn’t have nearly the same spring as my other ankle does. Also, my previously I injured ankle is noticeably less flexible more prone to injury. I twist the ankle more and before my injury, I never really got sprains (it hurt for a few minutes but then after that I was completely fine) but now, I’m noticing that when I twist my ankle the pain is more severe and it affects me days after.

It's a recovery stretch so you can do after a game or 1-2 daya before if you feel sore
After the game or on an off day would be the best way to do it since it consists longer and deeper holds. If you want a pre-game stretching routine, he has a 15 minute one which I nearly do before every training session.

Is it better to train in my own town playing in a bad team with your bros or try to go across the country where i would get the better chalange and sessions. Or just try to train here where I am now and improve so maybe I would play for the first team. I am just concerned if playing with the bad team is not going to get me ready for the first team, although i am one of the better players in my youth team.
