Del Toro's Hellboy series is top 5 underrated comic book adaptations 💯

I'd disagree heavily. Del Toro's adaptation strayed severely from the comics even down to the Hellboy on screen being very dissimilar in terms of personality to the Hellboy of the comics. While I love those movies, I see them more as Hellboy fanfilms by Del Toro than actual adaptations of Mignola's work. I also wouldn't call them underrated as they are 2 of the most popular comic book films ever made outside of the big 2 companies.

Holy crap that was a lot more than I thought I would get but definitely not disappointed when it comes to hellboy lore. Also I got to admit my favorite part of the video was the pumpkin Pete jacket.

The short story where Stalin meets the Baba Yaga was brillant and I wish that aspect had been explored to greater extent. Nazis are appropriate targets for exploring evil vs good but I'd like to see more exploration of what the Soviets Dark Gods could have done in this universe.
