This was an old thing with Rick Clunn. About fishing the last minutes of fishing time available. Rick never said a lot of things about fishing. That was one point he emphasized.

There is something to be said for just letting go and being a leaf on the wind. Do the work and let God drive the direction. I just ordered bilge pump for this exact reason. Came in twice with a yak full of water. Natives don't sink but man do they get heavy when full.

I landed the first 7lber and 2 other big fish without it… but my 8 and that last 6 I have to attribute to livescope. I was already fishing that ledge, but with only 10 min left, I was able to see when they moved up and make the casts I needed to! Valuable tool here

Thanks Steven! I was using the Berkley flat nose minnow. I caught that one small fish on it, and had a few others hit it. I can definitely see how it could be really effective!! Need more practice fine tuning it!
