Great response Rob. Honestly I was going to look down on the course if it was offered as some stupid $499 course. When I saw it comes as part of a cheap subscription, I don't see how people are so mad. I don't need this personally, but $8 times maybe 2-3 months to learn how to stop losing hundreds/thousands is beneficial to current bettors and should offset any harm from the "yOu puSheD pEopLe tO bEt whEn tHey wEreN't beTtoRs". Not huge on the concept PERSONALLY, but the critiques are getting to be poorly thought through and farfetched.
the course is a great intro for the masses to better understand sports gambling.. To have a platform such as master class even be interested is an achievement. To allow some very smart people who have been very successful at the highest levels of sports betting outline the basics not only is good for the general public but also good for the industry as a whole. Those who criticize sound foolish, sophomoric and narrow minded. This industry has a stigma already. Few outside of our world understand the sophistication and intelligence taking place at the highest levels. This class gives a glimpse, a window into a world most have no idea about. I think its great. Well done Rob.
As someone who has no major social media presence or influence, I can confirm that Rob genuinely wants to help bettors, especially new ones. I have directly reached out to him for help or advice, and he has provided it to me with no potential benefit to himself. There is nothing in the betting space he could learn or gain from me, yet he has taken the time to help me. For that, I thank you! I am better because of the content you put out. Keep it coming!
Not sure the negative responses.. with the rapid growth in sports betting, there’s thousands of people clueless to the ins and outs and where to start. I remember watching rob on the score and have followed him since… his views and opinions are always valued
@ how so? There’s zero proof any of these clowns are winning bettors so their way of staying relevant is talking about winning bettors and trying to teach people common knowledge in the gambling scene.
It’s awful. Whether is Erin or Joe it’s all the beautiful people. don’t give Erin a pass either. This is just as bad if not worse than cigarette advertising.
Rob re- wanting to help people understand gambling better and doing it in a way that gets a lot of reach. UA-cam must have way stronger and broader reach than Masterclass. Although I don't agree that all info should be just given out for free (filming this stuff costs a lot of time and money), good free content does have a strong win/win. The course selling outrage v3 made me want to try releasing my full course for free on UA-cam and just seeing what happens. Would appreciate a plug if you think the info is worthwhile.
Can we please get a rotating panel of talking heads here instead of Geoff and Kirk every week? Really no reason to assume Kirk is some elite bettor with worthwhile commentary
Had some rotation in the panel in the early going and got criticism for not keeping it consistent. Now getting the opposite feedback. There is no winning. Kirk is a great bettor, it's not an assumption.
Kirk tracked publicly for a long time on betstamp where he amassed a big winning record and is one of the reasons that he gets recognition in the space. He has now chosen to make his account private (there are many obvious reasons a bettor would want to do that).
@@CirclesOffHQ I understand keeping it private until settled. The only way people have to judge the quality of Gambling information on Twitter is your W/L record. I guess this begs the question who are you making the content for? Why don't you guys have a drink together if all you want to do is hear each other talk?

I have watched two of your monologues now. The last one, you were crying on camera about a half dozen things, and I offered you paragraphs of support. You didn't even respond to it. Not quite sure if you actually want comments on here but I will offer my two cents once again. As a 40+ year old man, you are way too concerned with the drivel of what the general public thinks of you. Who cares if people have a problem with your online betting content that is not handed out for free. You do not need to justify making money off of a project like this. You clearly have tangible information that can help new and losing bettors get on the right track. However! You also seem to enjoy rolling in the mud of twitter criticism breathing life into the negativity (posting the comments here) that would otherwise go unnoticed. I know this show, from the handful of times I have watched it, is very gossip-driven where a few of your friends sit around like little old ladies and talk about other "sharps" and touts and wonder who said what and who has more followers and who is most unliked (or liked). Everyone had a lunch table or two in their high school like that. I do not post my content online. I do not use X or instagram but I would be up for a gambling challenge vs. YOU which can give you some juicy material for the weeks ahead. A challenge where I can ONLY bet parlays, and you can tell everyone how mathematically wrong they are. You can post the results here for some extra clicks as your audience watches you get manhandled. The current odds sit at -550 that another Pizzola monologue would shortly follow as you try wrap your head around how you are down 40 units in a month in a heads-up challenge to someone you never heard of. I am assuming that your 30% hit rate on your weekly show with Cam is not indicative of your season long results. Either way it will not matter. I had a BAD night last night only hitting a 24-1 parlay. My content is coming in the new year. All of the "sharps" that delete my comments and/or hide from the challenge are being documented. Glad to see you are feeling better this week.
Wow, this is a lot to unpack. You’ve clearly put a lot of thought into this challenge idea, and while it’s… creative, it’s also pretty clear you’re just trying to get a rise out of me. If your plan is to "document" people who won’t engage, then add me to the list because frankly, I’ve got better things to do than entertain this nonsense. You’re not wrong that I can get caught up in the noise of Twitter and criticism. That’s something I’m actively working on because, yes, it’s draining. But labeling the show as "gossip-driven" tells me you’re either not really watching or you’re projecting your own baggage onto what we do here. The goal isn’t to trash others or compare follower counts; it’s to call out nonsense, have some fun, and talk about an industry that’s got no shortage of characters and drama. If you see it differently, that’s your perspective, but it doesn’t make it true. As for the digs about my hit rate, my content, or the hypothetical -550 odds, congrats on the 24-1 parlay, but if you think that’s what defines long-term success in betting, then I’m not sure we’re even playing the same game. You say you’re coming out with content next year? Great. Maybe spend more time working on that and less time trying to bait me into pointless arguments. -Rob
@@CirclesOffHQ it IS NOT pointless. And I'm not trying to just get a rise out of you with the challenge. Had a hunch you would realize the downside of this could be catastrophic for your brand. -875 you wouldn't accept because there is no upside for you. Despite me not being on twitter or social media, your Twitter-verse would collapse if I were able to crush you in the manner (and to the degree) I have suggested. As for your response. Clearly, hitting one 24-1 bet would obviously not define long-term success in betting. I never said it did. That was just an example of the hurdles that would stand in your way several days a week in hopes of gaining any ground on me. As for the gossip-driven comment, I have heard the phrase "he doesnt like me" "he hates him" "he rubs me the wrong way" "That guy is a fraud" a hundred times in the five or so episodes I have watched. Rewatch a few of them and tally up anything that could be deemed as gossip-driven by someone that does not know you personally. Unless you are doing the show for yourself, a little perspective on how it comes off SHOULD be valued. You asked for comments, right? For some context, despite my hulking 6'3" frame ha, I have a Juris Doctor, passed the CA bar exam, but have not had to practice law a day in my life due in large part to betting parlays. Certainly, I would have like to have known this was a viable career option BEFORE taking on those school loans. Not a complete waste of time because my deductive reasoning skills were only sharpened during those years. Sprinkle in a little clairvoyance, a lifetime of NFL and football knowledge, and a tireless work ethic, that can be quite the powerful combination. I absorb info like a sponge and can certainly regurgitate the sharp bettors' playbook and discuss any game on the board like I have been "a sharp" for 25 years but instead I listen, learn, compare and contrast and incorporate what works for me into my process. I have only done this full-time for 4 years and I mentioned "ONLY betting parlays" because it would demonstrate how misguided the thought is that there is only one way to win long term betting on the NFL. In the last month I have hit a half dozen bets over 50-1 odds, topping out at 107-1 that were a mix of NFL (props, sides, totals, MLs) and UFC/MMA. There is simply NO WAY for someone hitting at your 2024 percentage to compete with that if I am hitting 107-1 followed by an 87-1 a few days later. Meanwhile, you are worrying about closing line value on an NFL total "passing through a key number" for three units when my last leg hits. You are right! We are not playing the same game Rob. So go 5-2 for three units a play and then 4-5, then 8-3, 6-11 and let me know how long it takes you to get to 107 units won on ONE UFC card with a couple NFL pieces to finish off the ticket. Then brace yourself for an 87-1 the next week with the Lions ML as the last leg vs. the Texans. That was certainly a fortunate result the way that game started. And finally, no, it didn't take long to type this or think of the challenge. I type as fast as I speak. I see you take time editing call out videos of cappers yet you think I am detracting from building a website by taking fifteen minutes to challenge you? C'mon buddy. Your math skills are better than that. NEWSFLASH^^^ Winning long-term and hitting parlays are not mutually exclusive concepts. I understand hitting 4-6 legs on a single ticket must be a rare feat for you, but I cannot imagine NOT doing it without some regularity. Hitting 58% is not the top of the mountain. No sir. It is not. Glad you are feeling better. And yes, I do own shirts.

Transparency is never the goal of any big media. It’s about business and money.

Rob, I think you can say that you want to shift your focus on being a personality and making money from that and not necessarily from gambling.
I've shifted my mindset to taking more shots, both in betting and outside of it. A lot of what I do nowadays is boom or bust.
