Thank you for your review! I look forward to the multi- Panel! I had a laugh because when I told some non-flying guys that I bought this they laughed and said "what is the reason to fly if you use an autopilot?" But I think some of you viewers agree that it is helpful and fun to have better direct control and to use a panel like this!
I have been playing since today with the radio panel and the A/P panel and it’s working great for me I’m still waiting for the multi function panel tho
Hi. Thanks for the video. How do you connect the 2 units? Do you connect them to the yoke, then run just 1 USB to the PC? Does the yoke need a power supply with multiple units pluggedto it?
Keep up the great work and effort on your videos! Also, does the Logitech G Flight Instrument Panel work with msfs2020? Or does it work at all?? Because when i went to settings it said no driver available even though i downloaded the drivers from the website, I’m not a computer expert other than that lmao, your videos are great!!!!!!!
I believe there’s some bugs with the instrument panel that means it doesn’t work fully but it somewhat functions, although I haven’t brought/tested them because they’re way too expensive for what you get, in my eyes! Thanks for the kind words :)
@@PilotStudd can you start your flight with the panel at the Parking Stand? if i do this, the radio and the Multipanel are not working. I always need to start on the RW.... its a mess...
I really like the Logitech panels and have all but the actual instrument ones. I use Remote Flight with an iPad for my 6 pack instruments. The My panels have all worked well with FSX, P3D and now MSFS 2020. I have some problems using the NAV function in MSFS with the Airbus 320 but the Boeings (and GA aircraft) are fine. I like the panels because it makes pilot input more realistic. I've yet to see a keyboard & mouse in a cockpit lol.
Don't blame you. Currently the instrument panels are 170.00 USD each. I had three of them years ago and stupidly dropped them off at Goodwill. I recently started flight simming again, first time since 2013. I was able to find and reuse about 700.00 usd in usedn logitech gear found in several boxes from last move. I'm never getting rid of anything ever again.
if you set your VS (say 500) with altitude set, with AP on it will climb to and hold to that altitude. If you wish to descend turn the knob the other way so it reads a negative vs number and it will descend to a lower altitude that you change to.. It will hold altitude until you change VS to climb or descend at a certain speed and new altitude.
So everything works with this on MSFS 2020 except for one thing. The elevator trim starts out at 13%, and only moves a couple of degrees either direction no matter how long you turn the trim knob, and then automatically resets itself to 13%. Is there a fix for this?
@@johnfeet5476 Yeah, I fixed the elevator trim problem. But now I have a new problem The knob that sets the numerical values, it doesn't work. You can turn it all you want, the numbers do not change.
Hello, I have the switch panel and the multi panel. when I enter an altitude on the autopilot, it doesn't match the altitude on the plane. it's the same with the other things like VS, HDG CRS and so on. The autothrottle button doesn't work at all
It's good a great asset. It works automatically without the need to assign the buttons but my pitch trim does not work (it's not a primary need as I have one on my yoke, just irritating). Any ideas why or how to assign it in msfs as the multi panel doesn't show in settings. Thanks
I find it does although the autopilot can be a bit funny with it because the A320 starts with different modes on, once you turn them off, it works fine!
@@PilotStudd turn off what ? It works when i spawn in with everything started and ready, but when cold and dark and then power everything on and engin started and ready it still dosent work
@@Frontflipp86 pitch and flaps work as soon as you load in but for autopilot to work, you’ll need to select ‘selected heading’ and ‘selected altitude’ by pulling up on the autopilot knobs. You should then be able to control them as when you start up it would appear the autopilot goes off the MCDU

You used to have to set the plugin on first. Now you only have to do that when you first add the plug in, and it will remember forever to activate the plug in when you load MSFS

Hadn't quite realised how cheaply made it all looked. Thanks for the review, you've saved me a purchase I might have regretted. Good video.
If you don't have (or cannot get) the Bravo by Honeycomb, then, yep, you NEED this thing!
i agree, honeycomb seem better
More professional quality and especially the throttle is must and all in one makes it more immersive and hella more enjoyable
Actually this and the honey bravo is good. Because the brova has the amazing throttle, but this is better for autopilot in general.

Just picked this up, they've skyrocketed to $150 USD. The FIPs are now $165 each! They were $99 USD just a few months ago.
Wow, didn’t realise they’ve shot the prices up so much!
Clear and great video ! Small question though, can one set altitude in managed mode ?

For me i find the heading isnt very responsive. It often lags or jumps but works perfectly in Xplane.
Great video, I have the same panel and I really do love it!
It’s awesome!
Should i get it anyways if i mostly fly airbus?
thanks for the vid. can u say me how long is the usb-cable? thank u.
I've recently got this and can't seem to get it to work with the PMDG 737, Fenix A320 or FBW A320NX :(
multi panel is good, weak part is the left knob. now i can not select ALT.
Is the ALT button for altitude hold mode - that’s usually what ALT will be within game
Yes it’s for that, or VNAV depending on how your dev has coded it or how you have adjusted controls.

@FakeCall, auto-throttle works only with the airliners and CRJ, not with GA aircraft.
I. @ramnik.khanna I just leave it armed all the time. Has no affect on GA but is always in position ready for airliners
Does it work with the fenix A320?
What’s the Throttle quadrant

The fix is to unplug the USB wait for the disconnect sound and plug it back in. The multipanerl is notorious for this quirk.
