Hey mate, your vids are just great!! I've got the Multi and Radio panels and you've really helped to get the best out of them. Also have one of the Logitech Instrument Panels which has various functions / displays. Any vids on those? (Apologies if I've just searched for the wrong thing on your channel). Being scalable, my better half is happy she has Xmas and birthday pressies sorted for a while. Keep doing what you're doing.
Even the basic stuff was super helpful to me as a new user of this gear. I found I had to use the xsaitekpanels plugin to get the trim wheel working properly. Without this it did not appear to work at all.
I am just getting into FS, and I will admit your tutorials are the best I have found. Very clear with great explanations. Will go back and start reviewing the back catalogue. Any hints for a new pilot to get the most out of FS to eventually do this for real in a couple of years?
Thanks. My advice would be to fly the aircraft in the sim, that you're intending to fly for real and learn all the proper procedures for it. My Back to Basics Series should help.
In real flying, understanding aerodynamics comes first. Procedures are of course very important and are learned and used when you are flying out to the practice area to practice maneuvers (which are all primarily all about learning and understanding aerodynamics). Emergency procedures are of course more procedure based in general. Do not let the simulator turn you into a person who stares at the instruments. The primary flight instrument is the windshield. Pitch + Power = Performance. Also, autopilot use is not something you want to start out doing from the start. Autopilots are good for reducing workload during busy instrument flying. When you are learning how to fly (Private Pilot License) you do not use an autopilot at all. Pitch + Power = Performance. Stall occurs when the wing reaches its critical angle of attack, not at an airspeed.
I would have preferred a VNAV switch over the REV switch and I wish there was some way to adjust the trim wheel because it takes waaaay too many turns to affect the pitch.
Can't get it to appear in AXIS AND OHS. It works in MSFS even though it does not show inside there also. Other HID devices all appear in the Allowed List and it seems to be blocked by the Firewall which is an issue for Flightdeck in their support. Tried adding it as a Generic HID but still not found.
Very good update! However, Im surprised you've still got all your panels set in a stack above your yoke blocking your screen. Why don't you mount the yoke on your lower desktop and screw your panels together horizontally together on your upper desktop? That way, you'll have better screen visibility and perhaps improved usage of your Tobii Eye Panel 5? (FYI, I've got a simple setup with the yoke suspended beneath my desktop and my 3 Logitech panels mounted side by side on the top - works beautifully!) What do you think?
Bonjour. Aurrais tu une solution a me proposer. Toi ou celuis ou celle qui liront ce message. Merci. Pascal...
When using the Garmin G1000 (or even the 530) if you enter a flight plan and approach it will auto-tune your nav frequencies. What happens when the multipanel display disagrees with this ? Or does the multipanel follow the sim displays?
Hi Huddison I watched the video on this multi panel & again learned a lot. Have u a video out on the radio panel as I have both & would like to understand the radio panel in ur easy learn vids. Cheers 👍😊
Hi! I LOVE YOUR CONTENT!❤ If I have the XBOX S, the honeycomb yoke and the honeycomb hub, can I connect a Logitech panel to the honeycomb hub in XBOX S? Will it work?😅 I want to buy the alpha and have a logitech panel😅 Keep doing this great videos!😊
Is there a setting. My multi panel works, but changing headings takes ages, how did you get yours to react so quickly? Just for better understanding, no matter how fast I turn the knob, it doesn´t accept any faster inputs
Hi Huddison, I bought the flight panel 2 years ago but then it did not add software for latest Windows. Did they finally update their software? Thank you, Paul Slazas
When I used the Logitech yoke and pedals, they needed special drivers to be seen by MSFS. Is that still the case with these panels? Do they need external power - I’d guess yes. I’m using airmanager to simulate these panels and while they work fine, they can be a bit cumbersome rotating simulated knobs, for example. My AirManager might be better suited to display info rather than as an input device. Your thoughts?
See the description for a driver download link for the Logitech panels - this is the only thing that I needed to download and install for the Multi-Panel, Radio Panel & Switch Panel. I have them plugged straight into a USB hub and not running on external power of any sort,
What is the logitech link so I can set this up to get it running or send me the link of the unboxing where you mention the link. I cant seem to find it agiain
Wow, it brings the sim to another lever! I don’t know if we will see such devices for Xbox as wel! For the moment, I am very satisfied with all the turtlebeach devices!

Ok, I have to give you kudos for the nod to "Blake 7" in your intro logo music it. Love it!!
Thanks!
Wow! With your guide this is exactly what I have ben looking for in my flight simulator enjoyment. This will make everything so much better!
Hugely appreciated. thanks.

I only use the Trim wheel for very fine trim tuning. It should work with the plugin.
very good detailed review, thanks
Thanks for watching!
Getting these things to work needs som in-depth understanding of USB versions and energy management
Perhaps something I'll cover in an upcoming video.

I use the trim wheel for fine tuning only. A VNAV button would be amazing on this unit.
Multipanel is not working with MSFS. Numbers do not appear.
Maybe our Discord can help with this.
Unfortunately it doesn't work with airliners plane
I use it with the 146 Professional all the time.
Have you ever had an issue where the panel has caused the plane to dive into the ground on approach? I am using MSFS 2020 and Windows 11.
Not as yet Alan, but I have had a rare disconnect - very rare,
If this is the only panel you have can you customise the dial to control your in game com panel?
You probably can do that with Spad.next
I've not used that program though for a good few years, so won't be very helpful in that respect.
@Huddison thank you I've carried on watching other videos and am quite interested in the behringer x touch mini

I have better screen visibility in RL (very good in fact) ;)
Great Vid ? My multi panel works graet but , but on NAV function cant set heading, when switched to Vs or Alt works fine ?
HDG mode is to set heading.
dose it work with xbox
Afraid not; but this does: ua-cam.com/video/UYyD3DFjWXs/v-deo.html
need a video on how to set it up so it works with every plane in MSFS 2020
Once you have the drivers installed, you don't need (or even get the option to) configure anything for the Multi-panel in MSFS.

Will this work with the Velocity One yoke?
On PC yes.

Good question - untested; or not paid full attention to it as of yet. Something I'll be keeping an eye on
@@Huddison anything new?
Are there additional plugins/drivers/software required for this when using with MSFS2020?
I'm only using the Universal Panels driver.

This panel will _not_ work on Xbox.
But with the honeycomb hub?
Please could you explain without mincing words how to configure spad and multipanel? Nothing is understood
This for Xbox? I just ordered the axair for Xbox. Can hardly wait to check it out.
The Multi-Panel & Radio Panel is not compatible on Xbox.

your new setup flight stick is Honeycomb Alpha Yoke?
The Honeycomb XPC Yoke.
What plane is that? Purchased Addon? I mean the C182

The driver link is in the video's description.
How much is that rig
The whole setup? Including the V1 Rudder Pedals, it'll be around £700-£800.
Can you use this with any Logitech flight controllers?

The Velocity One allows you do perform most of the same functions, if you set them up thusly.
