Kinda sucks that the shade run lighter. I wish colourpop would be more expansive. But maybe at some point I'll pick up the brownest one and that strawberry color. Thanks for all the swatches!
Considering that they're supposed to be a sheer buildable formula I'm not surprised that some of them looked brighter on. They used to have these some years ago and then randomly discontinued them. So I guess these are repackaged and reformulated with different shades.Interesting take on the glossier formula as well. I haven't tried the CP ones yet but I do have one from glossier and it is waxy. I personally find it to be too stiff and drying, and I don't agree necessarily that the shade range is better especially given how most of the shades look on the model with the darkest skintone on their website. I find with this type of product it can be hard to get a smooth look like you said, sometimes they can be patchy. I tend to find a sheerer formula more flattering on myself so that is something I sometimes have to contend with.
