This is a really interesting series. I was an English teacher in my past life and I spend a lot of time speaking about the importance of language when managing conflict and communication with others. So often I find that people are missing one another because they’re not looking from the same perspective, which is evident in their language. Ha!
You know how sometimes when you repeat a word enough in a short time it starts to lose all meaning to you? Yeah, well that's how I am feeling about the word 'empathy' after listening to this now, lol
You have the capacity for all of them, it's all about removing the barriers blocking healthy expression and the experiencing of empathy and then developing it through practice and life experience.
