Isn't that value for money, because it is just a TV, not a personal device that we use that much. UA-cam and OTT are the most used applications and inbuilt or current Android TVs do these flawlessly without any extra cost
UI of every brand be it samsung lg sony is glitchy. It’s android but android tv os hangs a lot can be irritating for many. Even the in-app usage is not what you expect.

inbuilt tv's have shit UI , work fine for a year or so, then gets laggy, no matter how expensive the TV is

LG's WebOS and Samsung's Tizen may be better off. But Fire TV and Android TV are quite bad.
