The best thing I love about Apple Tv is love is the bluetooth transmitter. Because I like connecting bluetooth speakers to it. I like HomePods but prefer bigger bluetooth speakers that have mic 🎤 input. Because for example you can stream either karaoke youtube videos or apple music songs that you can remove the lyrics to your speaker and connected to any tv or monitor, and now you have the perfect karaoke machine. Ive taken my apple tv to parties connected to the big bluetooth speaker and portable monitor. And was a hit all night long as a karaoke party. Friends and relatives call refer the apple tv the apple karaoke box. Some of them Even decided to buy one just because of that. And another feature I like is after you pair a bt speaker to it, you just turn on your speaker and plays music off of the apple tv without it turning on the tv or apple tv box itself. As a source for music streamer. Use your controller to tell siri what song or playlist you want…. Etc
Being able to do FaceTime and Zoom calls on Apple TV with your iPhone as a continuity camera is also a pretty neat feature! (I use one of my MagSafe chargers to hold the iPhone in position in front of the TV.)
Ty is just ordered my first apple tv im super excited i had no idea it could do this been using roku for years. Figured since I have an iPhone and an iPad I might as well get this. I’m excited, especially after watching this video. Thank you.
My TCL QM8 TV has slowed down too much. When I first got the TV I used the built in OS, now it's unusable. I force stop background apps and restart the TV. Still doesn't help. I'm back to my Apple TV 4K
I just want to watch the movies on the apple tv+ that I subscribed and downloaded onto android/microsoft. BUT the pause and forward rewind button are on the screen the entire time. I suppose you can only enjoy it if you have apple device???
I have a question. On my Apple TV. They did away with the movie app and now it’s under the tv app. I have a ton of purchased movies. How do i see the movie info without starting the movie then scrolling over to an info button etc. like a quick view of the info as I’m scrolling through my library. Also where the heck did the wish list go. I used it to add movies to that i want to buy and monitor the prices. Any help id appreciate
In the user account settings, there’s an option to sign-out of iCloud for photos. Your other content, such as movie purchases, subscriptions, etc., will still be available. So the Apple TV will work like it always does. But the Photos app will no longer show photos; instead you’ll see a message for how to authorize access.
He probably didn’t go into much details because (and he also didn’t mention) not all apps supports it on the AppleTV. Again, PiP is great on the Apple TV, as long as the App supports it.
7:22 This is great I can connect my AirPods or speaker to my TV, we lost our remote and the sound is stuck at a low point so now I can just use my AirPods or speaker thanks
@@w.jackson1171Yes! That’s a killer feature that someone showed me. I’m a software developer and didn’t realize it. On an iPhone, you can swipe down from the top right to open Control Center. Scroll down and you’ll see the Apple TV remote icon. Tap it and your phone becomes a full screen remote that can control any Apple TV on the network (or linked to your account). The entire screen acts like a trackpad, so you can zip around quickly. If the Apple TV remote icon doesn’t appear when swiping down, you can add it under Settings > Control Center.
It seems that your goal in this presentation is to promote your knowledge of a list of Apple TV features rather than showing how to access and use them. The result is a demonstration of “The presenter knows these things but the observer probably doesn’t and must ‘Go fish’”. …Next time I suggest you try an educational tutorial approach.
It’s not all about the “features” versus a 20 dollar stick. It’s power alone worth the price. Ie it plays higher bitrate video without hick ups. It loads video from say Plex instantly. This is especially noticeable on high bitrate 4 HDR ect. Just my opinion.
The remote for this device seems to have been designed with one goal. To absolutely ruin the users enjoyment of whatever they are trying to view. The touch pad seems to have been programmed to override or have dominance over any other input. So much so, that the user can attempt to select up/down or left/right from the outer control ring, but the touch pad will react as if your using it instead. This results in a completely different outcome which will often detract from the viewing experience and endless frustration for the user. One of apples’s worst designs.
I have a TCL Roku TV and a Samsung TV..both are horrible devices. Does the apple TV require you to make an account? Does it shove ads up your wahoo on the home screen? Watching TV sucks anymore. Even after you buy the TV they still shove ads in your face. Does the apple TV remote have proprietary buttons for streaming services I WILL NEVER use on it? Thanks for the vid!! I miss the old days of tv... go buy a TV, bring it home... unbox it... watch TV..not unbox it, make an account, agree to asinine terms and service blah blah blah... dam the multi-media world is going to s**t..lol
No. Apple TV does none of that garbage. It’s a premium product where you’re in control, even down to granular video and audio configuration (resolution, frame rate control, dynamic range control, manual overrides for SDR and HDR, manual control of audio for Dolby Atmos, 5.1 or stereo, or audio routing to wireless speakers, receiver, TV, AirPods, HomePods or combined playback, and more). All essential if you have a higher end TV and gear. You or guests can mirror their phone, laptop, etc. on the TV with high quality and low latency. There’s just one login to create an iCloud and that’s it. You can also have separate accounts for different users. If you already have an iPhone, there’s no login and all. It just authorizes immediately by holding your phone near the device. Just go buy one today. A few minutes later, you’ll be a much happier person 😜

Apple TV with two HomePods = the best entertainment experience hands down!
Being able to do FaceTime and Zoom calls on Apple TV with your iPhone as a continuity camera is also a pretty neat feature! (I use one of my MagSafe chargers to hold the iPhone in position in front of the TV.)
LOVE the idea of what did they just say! Had no clue about that

How do you launch Picture in Picture???
thats exactly what i was going to ask
6:21 I just use my iPhone to type passwords automatically using keychain

You talked all about pip and yet you didn’t even mention how to actually use it
Your grievance is literally a Google search away 🤦🏿♂️
Love It Mike O'Brien Bro.
the recent apps thing is great because if you have an app thats just giving you issues, you can also swipe up to force close it.
Really cool! Great job. I’ll subscribe!
I just want to watch the movies on the apple tv+ that I subscribed and downloaded onto android/microsoft. BUT the pause and forward rewind button are on the screen the entire time. I suppose you can only enjoy it if you have apple device???
Great tips and tricks as always bro

Long press on the movie icon to view additional options. You can view movie info, as well as resume or restart playback.
@@Nochannel00 Doesn’t work. I’ve long pressed every button on the controller
AHAHAHAHAHA. Trailer Park Boys!!! Love it.
The dialogue thing is very useful.
How do you take the pictures off Apple TV? My iPhone pictures are automatically uploaded on there.

which budget t.v can we use with apple t.v 4k.
Which one can you not?
Any TV with an HDMI input will work.
Have you made a review of the Google chrome cast
14 >> me saying Siri got to series 1 episode 6 >> 3 Siri’s reply 😂

Yeah he totally missed showing us how to do that! 🤦♂️

He did tell us how to do the PiP. The second screen will be cast from your iPhone or whatever.
Some of the features are cool that you’re speaking of, but you’re not taking the time to actually show people how to go in and use these features
@@jasontodd03 exactly.
How do you record just a basic show ?
They need to add repeat movies like Microsoft does
How does IPTV streaming work on this device ?

Take a shot every time you hear him say “actually”
It’s strange that there is no slow motion capability
How many of y'all have Kodi installed on your Apple TV??
and how's the experience?
Is there a way to pinch to zoom?
Yes, he knows how but really we are unfamiliar with it. This controller is way too sophisticated for me.
It baffles me that you can’t set it to always play movies from the start. It is so simple to add.
That intro is exactly right. People pay $200 for this gadget then use it such that they should have bought a $20 streaming stick.
It always blows my mind

There aren’t adds on Apple TV. #1 reason for me to use it much cleaner and perfect for minimalists.
Apple TV doesnt cost 200 dollars…not even close
Went from an s22 ultra to s24 ultra. Feel so much better. Especially for us in europe

I’m really surprised Apple hasn’t made an actual physical tv yet.
