I hate when people compare injuries because they're the same, no two people are the same as far as injuries goes.
But this case it was justified. Parker's injury was a completely torn quad tendon. Kawhi only hurt his but didn't tear it. Tony Parker was completely right to say his injury was worse.

Not only that but now he went from 2 playoff/championship contenders to a team a young team that’s not making the playoffs anytime soon. Mike Conley ...team doctors cleared him to play from his Achilles injury and now where is he? Out for the rest of the season because of that Achilles injury. The team doctor may have cleared him but his doctor hasn’t. Any time you’re dealing with injuries, they may be the strongest part of our body but it also takes the longest to completely recover and they tend to linger. Parker hasn’t even fully healed from his. It’s no point of him coming back right now. If anything this will allow guys like Murray, Forbes, Bertans and Brandon Paul to get the playing time and experience that they need in order to improve.
