These days I took the same tire and the same size. I will install it on an Isuzu Axiom.

Had 33 12.50 r15 on my 97 ranger no better tire for off-roading. Great handling.

Those will work good. That 8.8 rear under there is stout. I swapped one from a explorer to my old jeep xj(cherokee). Just be careful, I started with 33's and a "budget lift" and ended up with long travel arms on f250 axles and 37's.

I have a crew cab frontier with rare long bed and a cap now(couldn't afford the Tacoma). It also has 31's but it has a decked system under topper with drawers under for storage and a 6' long sleeping deck. I have no emissions either but don't mess with exhaust until you need to. Trust me you will want money elsewhere, and quiet is good when out at night.

If there’s a decent spring shop or trailer repair place those springs can be rearched to match. Factory springs rarely match exact.,Have had a couple of sets on pickup trucks redone.

Add a leaf as well. If it has shackles in the back you can lift it there for next to nothing too.

Of course they will wear down fast but that is the trade off for mud tires and what you are using the vehicle for will make it a lot safer for you and your family exploring the great outdoors ...i just heard you say 25mpg ??? Oh well its worth every penny you put into for all off road upgrades ...tuned exhaust keep it small diameter tubing or you made lose some gas mileage ..example a cobra mustang in 1994 came with stainless steel shorty tuned headers and complete stainless steel exhaust system with a 5.0L V8 engine that made 300hp and got an incredible 27mpg. I checked the mileage of a friend's 1994 cobra on an interstate trip of over 400 miles cruising at 70mph and we got 27mpg ..i believe it was due to the small tubing ford factory equal length headers that allow each cylinder to fire with the same amount of horsepower running smooth compared to large tube headers that are made for wide open throttle maximum hp possible ..come to think of it you might already have ford shorty s.s. header on your ford suv ..a Bassani exhaust would make that baby sound like a million dollars ..they are expensive but worth every penny ..they give your V8 a braaap sound of a ferrari ....hey about those tire im about to order a set from ebay for $588 delivered ...there are several venders on ebay selling the crap out of these mudders ..one cost $599 and are 6 ply rated but the guy selling them for $588 are rated 8 ply and might be a little slippery on wet pavement but will be a little harder rubber compound good for sharp rocks and extra miles ..if they are noisy , live with it as all mud tires roar ..but the tread pattern is called a Chevron tread that means when one tread lug is starting to make contact there is still an other lug just starting to break contact thats why the tread pattern comes to a tapered point in the middle and making them quieter than not ! They will probably cup out the front tires not from alignment but from steering geometry that is inherent of any vehicle ..so when you see the slightest wear as the back side of the lugs will wear down 1st rotate the tires front to back same side same side cause they are directional. Depending on how many miles per year you drive your hot rod suv , it will pay you to rotate your tires your self ..buy a battery power 1/2 drive impact gun , jack stands and a cheap aluminum floor jack from harbor freight ..and pack all of it inside the suv for emergence if you have a flat..and i recommend and tire plug kit from AutoZone ..you can get really small punctures off road like cactus thorns or thorn tress ..then its really hard to get the cleaning tool to penetrate the small hole in the tire and then almost impossible to push the plug into the tire with any success ...i use a long tapered narrow step bit and a battery drill and drill out the small thorn hole or nail hole in the tire to about 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch ..use plenty of rubber cement on the plug and plug tool and it will slide right in without damaging the plug and put the plug halfway in where you wanting doubled other and still in one piece textbook style like the pros ..this is were people mess up and give plugging tires a bad name ...now get out there and tear up mother nature and piss off the tree huggers
