Every time that you feel forsaken, Every time that you feel alone, He is near to the broken hearted, every tear he knows.. That part gets me every time. Felt those ways one to many times. In active addiction or alcoholism.. Feeling that way. Can lead you to some very bad places. I do thank him every day for getting me out of it. Showing a better way. Slowly but surely.
I love you Lord. Your amazing in every way and thank you for all you done for me. Please pray for me I’m going through depression at the moment and I know God is helping me through the rough battles. Nothing is impossible!

FAVOURITE CHRISTIAN SONG. I feel like a lot of the Christian songs tend to just be happy, praise and thank God - which is correct - but it makes me feel like that's how I'm supposed to be feeling when I'm miserable. So, all I'm saying, is that it's just nice to hear one that actually mentions a Christian's position through pain.

Sometimes all we can see is our suffering, our SELF. But Isaiah 53 INVITES us and challenges us to look away from ourselves and up to Jesus the Christ. HE suffered EVERYTHING we suffer, and more. He KNOWS. When we lift our eyes up to Jesus, indeed the "darkness begins to shrink", and the "chains of doubt, one by one" break free! In Isaiah 53, Jesus is identified as "a man OF SUFFERING". This was Jesus's earthly experience at the hands of other humans. Because Jesus has walked the path of suffering, abuse, rejection, betrayal, mocking, pain, grief, distress, hardship, contempt, scorn and being treated as valueless, as one who did not fit in with what the world considers "beautiful or attractive", "kingly or desirable", He is completely able to relate to and UNDERSTAND our suffering, He CHOOSES to walk alongside us in the darkness, and brings us out to the Light of His Truth and Love. The One who suffered for us and died for us to bring us to God also WALKED OUT OF THE GRAVE and offers LIFE to those who put their TRUST in HIM. He CAN be trusted BECAUSE HE KNOWS! Indeed, what a FRIEND we have in JESUS!
