- My lyric video for Matthew West's new single "The God Who Stays" released July 26th
This is one of few songs that really touch me, first one is "My Life" by Branan Murphy which is also my favorite song ever, and another one is "Greater Than All My Regrets" by Tenth Avenue North. The day before before the song released, I found out that Matthew was having this song the next day so I told myself that I had to make a lyric video for because Matthew always has amazing songs so you get me!
I really wish you would take the time to like, subscribe, share, and comment since I was stuck on making this video for about 2 hours and a half just for you guys. I hope you get encouraged by this song and like it just as much as I do. God Bless!

I was driving with my mom and praying to God, telling Him i was scared i wouldnt be in Heaven and I felt ashamed for my negative heart and evil feelings. I've been tempted to leave the faith lately, im so ashamed and frustrated with myself. But, i turned on the radio after i finished my prayer, and this came on. Just take this as encouragement that God does not leave. Even when youre tempted, He knows we are but dust, He knows our temptations, His understanding nobody can fathom, and He does not grow tired or weary. He still loves us. He is FOR us. He WANTS us. He is willing that none shall perish, He is the one that doesn't leave the sheep behind. We are precious to Him. Take heart, you will overcome this!

No temptation has seized you but what is common to man. Paul goes no to say that God will provide a way out of the temptation for you. Kept praying that He might do whatever is necessary to conform you to the very image of Jesus, Who is praying for you right now! Confess your sin to the Lord while believing that God raised Him from the dead and you will be clean and forgiven for allowing that temptation to rule your life. And buckle your seatbelt for He will work very hard at conforming you to Jesus' image, amen.

This year in the first 6 months, I’ve had a stroke, 4 mini strokes, concussion, and misfiring of my nerves in the back of my head. I’ve had several hospitalizations, but throughout it all God has stayed by my side through all of this. I love you God

Having done terrible things after you're saved and the guilt afterwards, means even after you're saved you think you'll walk perfectly or know better not to do bad things, but we are not perfect Christians after we are saved. But God stays and our new sin, surprise we did it again. What!!!?? Confess and repent and God is faithful as He promises to forgive you. Confess and Repent. It's in the scriptures. We will still at times sin and yes, still be saved. This song by Matthew West covers it ALL.

Whatever it is.. whatever the situation we all are going through he knows and every desire that we have we just need to surrender to him , he is already taking care of us.

Recently, all the friends I thought I could trust, even church friends, either betrayed me outright or started shunning me. I've been really lonely, struggling with that feeling and wondering why God would let this happen to me. But even now, I know God is still here, by my side. I am determined to get through the heartache. Update: Almost a year later, I have overcome the loneliness and have faith like never before, stronger than ever. I made new, Christian friends. God brought me back to Him, and I have trust despite the new struggles that this year has brought on me. And the healing He brought me showed, so much so that others came to Christ for their salvation or came back from their wandering, deciding to put their trust in Christ to help and heal them. God really does have the power to save! Thank you all for your supportive comments! They mean a lot. :)

This song is the opposite of the song "reckless love ". This song is more biblical, The God Who STAYS. He is faithful, when we are faithless. He is faithful to those who are in Christ Jesus. The Love he has for his Son, is given to all those who belong to him in Christ Jesus. GLORY Jesus has paid it all for us. AMEN

It's the exact opposite in the fact that one is biblical, and the other is not.
God is not, in any way, reckless.
He is Faithful.

Reckless Definition:
(of a person or their actions) without thinking or caring about the consequences of an action.
Those crack heads and alcoholics, God definitely had thoughts and plans for them before the creation of the world. God is a God of order.
His love does not have to be reckless to save us wicked sinners.

Today is my birthday, and I dread when the day comes each year....because it seems to be the only day when I'm the most sad, hearbroken and lonely. The day I should be the most happy, seems like a curse....and getting the constant reminders from people who feel obligated to send the 'Happy Birthday' text, cuts even more for some reason.
But one thing is certain, I can turn to songs of support and reminders that I'm not alone...and so I'm starting to use my birthday as a day of rejoicing and singing praises to God. Please pray for me.

I pretty much love all of Matthew West's songs, but this one gets me everytime. It's like it was written for me. He really does stick closer than a brother. He never leaves us! And I will praise him as long as I live!
The ones who have been the example of this side of God in my life, who have demonstrated this side of His love, are my parents.
My mom’s just there no matter what, and my dad, he’s always been there even when I thought I didn’t want him to be. We don’t always get along, but I’ll never forget how he was there when my heart was broken, when I felt like I had failed in a big way. When I couldn’t say anything, he supported me, and when I opened up, he encouraged me.

I remember receiving the news that my sister had passed away, followed by my uncle and cousins, all in the same year. Oh Lord, the only one I could allow to stay was God. As the Bible verse says, "Nothing can separate us from the love of God" (roman 8) .Remember that God is greater than all these emotions, feelings, depression of yours, and with Him you can Overcome sin =) You are loved by God!

Keep pressing on in your relationship with God and put less focus on your sin
You mention repetitive sin and that mention helps me to know my shame from having had "repetitive sin" is not uncommon. Your comment helped me to understand this happens after we are born again. And when we wakeup to it later and confess and repent ( being so sad) from it God is still there and we are still His child. He didn't forsake me.

Good thing I have come across this song. It's so hard when you can't seem to forgive yourself that it even becomes difficult to pray. It's been a journey accepting that God still loves me and has given me another chance to feel worthy of His love and mercy. The God who has stayed with me even when I felt undeserving, found it difficult to pray but still stayed. Be blessed.
Ive been through that process, forgiving and forgivess is a hard process specially if the people who hurt you are those people that close to your heart. Im ok now, its a process, my weapon is devotion and prayer.
