Later, Lex comes down from Helicopter and Superman comes up from ground.
If you look at many lines of the movie like this way, it becomes more meaningful.
@@nashaaa4444 true but i mean- ik this is obvious but with the whole god thing with superman? symbolism people!
Like when lex says that god doesn't save him from daddy's fist and abomination and later we see doomsday gonna punch lex and that time doomsday was his dad but at that time superman stop his punch and save him and that represents superman the god

Depends on what u view as "the sky"
The sky can "imply" the real meaning which is whats beyond it, following the primitive idea of "whats out there" when looking up.
Another view is that luther came from something that originates on the ground, artificial transport, once just steal, chemicals and parts, given structure.
Sometimes the real heroes are what people initially percieve as devils, which means is luthor really the devil if ypu want to be poetic about it in that sense.
I think that if Hans Zimmer had been born in the 19th century he would have been considered one of the greatest classical music composers in history.
Sadly John Williams was born in same era as him.
Bro so true!
Hans Zimmer has some good moments. But overall he is terribly overrated. But you were right, he's be celebrated because what he makes is popular and that's what counts.

Okay but Lex Luthor is honestly such a good villain. He's always two steps ahead of everyone and knows the weaknesses of the strongest people out there. His theme completely shows that danger as well as his psychotic side. He's smart but people underestimate his intelligence because everyone thinks he's just a psychopath that wants nothing more than to watch the world burn. He does want to watch the world burn, but he wants to do it as the superheroes themselves kneel before him.

Jesse Eisenberg was not the comic book Lex Luthor, he was an accurate younger representation of Lex Luther in real life. And also, nice drawing.
He was in the comic called Superman "Birthright"
Although Jesse is fit to be a PERFECT young Luthor. The only reason I'd LOVE him in that role is because his appearance is EXACTLY the appearance I wish I had!
He actually was the first incarnation of Lex Luthor, the one that debuted in April 1940
He is perfect lex luthor jr
This Lex grew on me as I understood him more. Sure we're all familiar with the whole corrupt business man-type- of his usual variation. I actually hated this version the first time I saw the movie...but then I read and researched a lot...and watched the movie more than once....as far as I know this...version of Lex is by far the most dangerous...and the most fearless.
And I read Superman 'Birthright' ...so I realized he was based on that. But it was never the less an interesting and fresh take. And Snyder made sure to make this Lex an updated version of him to the modern age billionaires we see in the world today (From his casual yet formal attires, LEXcorp not just being a business corporation...but the whole basketball court, the whole tech front, his ..'.friendly'...youthful yet engergetic personality stood out akin to the modern day billionaires was certainly a fresh take.

One of the best Luthors, with real evil inside him, a god complex, one of the best. The theme made you feel like you are in the body of a villain.
I think all instruments and parts in this theme is a part of Lex Luthor's mind, let me explain:
0:00 to 0:56 it's strong piano which mean his inspiration and the strength of his conviction to defeat the GOD (Superman)
0:56 to 1:52 we can hear a repeating song which mean for me the beginning of his madness, we also hear a bit of stong piano (which mean Superman) and some soft piano (wich mean his human part) for me that show that he doesn't know if he has to felt in this madness. He is divided between his human part and his madness (from superman)
1:52 to 2:27 The most important part where the violon are alone like he felt completely in his madness and don't see anything else (at 2:11 we can hear also the piano like the beginning but less loud like he associate his madness with superman)
2:27 to 5:10 the longest part, the part of the human behind Lex Luthor, which introduce his doubt, his fears, his weaknesses. This part is almost empty, without instrument, like he has no doubt he truly trust his convictions and he really thinks he is doing good.
5:12 to the end, His madness (violon) comes before Superman (the strong piano) like he feel superior to superman, superior to a god...
Also the names of the tracks explain, for me, most of what i wrote before ahah but i wanted to share my opinion with you and i want to know what you think about it!

People may not like Jessie Eisenberg as Lex Luthor but damn is his theme great and also actually makes him threatening because he actually does what villains do. He DOES act like Lex Luthor. He wants to kill Superman or make him look bad and attain all power, as Lex Luthor always does. He even makes sure all of his actions weren’t connected to him to most people. That IS Lex Luthor. He may act weird when pretending to be that spoiled since as a child character but really it defines what Lex Luthor is. He’s not my favorite but is still good non the less. (ALL ACCORDING TO MY OPINION)
John Williams' Superman: Theme of all superheroes
Hans Zimmer's Lex Luthor: Could be the theme of all supervillains.

The DCEU really doesn’t get enough credit for all of its OSTs, they’re absolutely amazing, everyone has one that literally screams their character, Lex’s theme here, Superman’s theme that played in most of his scenes with Lois, and Affleck’s theme as well, all of them are top tier.

Exactly. This version of Lex grew on me....It was refreshing...and a new take on him. Also this version of him was based on Superman: Birthright. we were presented with perhaps the darkest, most damaged version of Superman’s archenemy yet. A brilliant billionaire fueled by the traumas of his childhood, Eisenberg’s Lex is obsessed with toppling Superman, for reasons even he can’t fully articulate. It’s a dynamic, raging performance, and the imo stands to be among the best Lex Luthor who has ever graced the silver screen.
and what I also liked about this version is that most modern incarnations of Lex Luthor have portrayed him as a classic 20th century industrialist; a smartly besuited titan of industry who’s loathe to crack a smile in public. This is quickly becoming an obsolete archetype. The American billionaires of the 21st century are more likely to be young tech moguls, like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who Jesse Eisenberg conveniently portrayed in David Fincher’s stylish, haunting The Social Network.
Infusing Lex with the billionaire "tech bro" spirit was a smart and easy way to make him both credibly powerful and deeply unlikeable. He’s a young man of such vast wealth and influence that he doesn’t believe any rules should apply to him. His fragile ego is severely threatened by someone as altruistic and all powerful as Superman.
AL Lusive exactly!
