a most impressive collection, i thought he only had about four or five songs with his leitmotif. did most of those were larger pieces with small references to Luthor's theme?
Somewhat! A big part of it was the complete recording sessions, which includes a lot of really cool uses of his theme. A lot of my suites are as long as they are because I use a lot of the stuff from the recording sessions, mainly for the Monsterverse suites :)
@@azc0na well, you did a LOT more work than other suites i'd seen of Lex, kudos. this should have more views. also, not to sound like am doing your work a disservice, but i think "Your Own House Turned to Ashes" should have been the last one, as that one is on JL. but maybe not because it wouldn't fit the air of "finality" that last song had.
@@enocescalona Thank you for your feedback and compliments! I put that song in the middle because I felt like its sort of the only other place I could imagine putting it, since that's when the suite starts utilizing more off kilter instrumental sounds, and also since Kidnapped finishes off the melody in a satisfying way. I'm glad you like my suite though, always good to have people commenting and being supportive despite my low view count :)
I really wished this is a different type of luthor or better yet, like everyone said get bryan cranston for lex and a different writer to make me feel intimidated by him despite being human instead of what we have now.
I agree! I feel that the issue is how Jesse acted, because I like the ideas behind him to an extent, but he was much less intimidating because for someone so smart and calculating, I never felt his plan based on coincidences or the way he acted conveyed that very well. Lex is scary as an opponent to Supes because he understands how to break down a beacon of hope by just being a normal human, and THAT is what always intrigued me about him. BvS Lex just didn't cut it for me personally
Agreed Lex Luthor is Superman's pure foil , while Superman exceeds in having super powers , Lex Luthor bests him by having beyond average intelligence and intellect , even with Clark's super powers Luthor almost always gives him a run for his money , and THAT'S what makes him impressive as a villain foil to Kal- El. In regards to the casting , I think they were going for a younger cast , as much as I would love Bryan playing the role of Lex Luthor , that would mean changing of the entire cast , and considering his age I think Jesse played the role of a young sociopathic Lex Luthor rather well. When we see him in the movie we know he is not at his pique , we also don't know if he's the original Lex because he keeps alluding to his father. Which is how I myself would expect a young Lex to act , sociopathic , unstable , defiant and theatrical , and I would suppose he would become more covert as the years went by , gaining more knowledge but also wisdom.
0:15 i always get chills when that tune happens.
@Caden McEvoy same over here.
Finally! Thank you for appreciating this score to put it all together.
One of the most underrated scores to one of the greatest villains of all time.
The most evil music, for the most evil bad guy!!!
Hearing the theme again at 9:10 in ZSJL was fantastic.
Man 7:50 hits so different
I LOVE this

This Suite is inspiring in Grosse Fugue of Beethoven. Nobody realice that, only me: @EnriqueElGenio 4-1-2023
