okay but can we talk about how the internet relentlessly bullied Chelsea for saying that people sometimes say she looks reminiscent of Megan Fox, but when Nick says he looks like Henry Cavill and is better looking than Travis Kelce it’s crickets??
EXACTLY!! I’ve been saying this to my group chat lmao it’s wild but not surprising whatsoever. I don’t even think Hannah or Megan Fox are that bad, they’re just insecure. Poor Chelsea got bullied relentlessly online simply for being annoying and whiny and insecure… that’s NOTHING, especially compared to the cheaters, liars, domestic abusers and scammers they’ve had on the show!
Sadly that was a pretty common thing to be said about mixed people for a very long time and at 36 she’s probably heard it so many times she didn’t even really think about how terrible it is
The kicker is Leo is an Art ADVISOR not a DEALER. He advises people on what pieces of art to acquire. He doesn’t acquire pieces to resale. He isn’t even exceptionally wealthy. He’s upper middle class. I can’t stand someone who misrepresents themselves.
I’ve said in the past Love Is Blind videos, but I’ll say it again. Netflix seriously needs to revamp/restructure their casting process due to so many of the contestants on the show have been exposed for being concerningly problematic or for being fake/clout chasers. Their negligence with casting has compromised the safety of the contestants (there have been multiple contestants that have had domestic abuse allegations come out) and resulted in other contestants (who are there for clout) ruining the premise of the whole show. At the rate that they’re going, the company’s messiness is going cause their viewers to stop watching the show. At this rate I’m honestly surprised that Netflix hasn’t been publicly sued for causing emotional distress/damage to their contestants.
Not sure what happened but Danielle and the one dude from Season 2 I believe began a lawsuit against them for their conditions while on the show. But yeah, there’s been some…..problematic shit that’s come up on these shows.
I don't think it's negligence. Tgese kinds of problems are nor a bug of reality TV; it's a feature. They know that people will be problematic and they create an environment that will bring it out because people talking about thus shocking stuff is what brings eyeballs to their content.
that’s what they want, though. they want the mess. the hosts of love is blind are also in on it. at the last reunion, nick and vanessa pretended to be gobsmacked that a person would go on a dating show to get clout as if there haven’t been more than one contestant from every season that fits that criteria.
The only reason allegations come out though is BECAUSE they were casted. How is Netflix supposed to know who has baby mamas and outside relationships? Look through their whole phone log and do an investigation? I’m genuinely curious because people always say the background checks should be better (which yeah if someone has charges of DV then ofc that info should be found and those people should be banned) but most allegations only come out once their exes see them on the show. And there’s no illegal stuff happening it’s just asshole behavior. Not to mention this show is huge, has a ridiculous premise, and EVERYONE wants to be a rich influencer. This show and the fans guarantee that. All reality tv is tainted with attention seekers and that’s not gonna change. So idk what the solution is. Most people suck and we just have to get used to that unfortunately
Not the "male lions lead" talk when male lions literally do jack shit except for couple with other male lions and once a year mate with the females omg
I was saying the same thing! Lion symbolizes the king on his throne who wants to be popular. The Tiger symbolizes the lead by example approach AKA hard working.
I was screaming for him to give the poor woman some space to breathe!! Literal reaction "Eww. Why is he on top of her??" Kissing her up and down before they've even spoken properly was for sure wild on his part and unwelcomed as hell! on her part
Same! And to see he came out saying he knew she wasn’t interested the moment they laid eyes on each other makes him even more gross 🤮. Like he would have to be awful at reading a room if he hadn’t realized that, but why would you then put this woman in a damn near headlock forcing kisses on her then 🤮🤮 Idk what else, but send him to jail!
I just wanna mention that Lauren & Cameron from S1 have a new podcast and just did an interview with Amber & Matt. They reveal a lot, but this one thing I'm never gonna stop thinking about. In the anniversary special, there was a scene where it looked like Amber was arguing with Matt about Jessica. In reality, she was arguing with a producer who kept pushing her to confront Jessica when she didn't want to. The camera was angled to capture only her. Matt wasn't even around. She was fighting with a producer and they made it seem like she was berating her husband. The not-funny thing is that she was edited to look worse while the later seasons have worse people from the start, according to the cast themselves. It's like the producers wanted to save themselves a step.
Reminds me of Love Island this season where the the producer told the winners, Serena and Kordell, different things, and that made her get off the dance floor and she told KeKe Palmer in an interview that they did not show him giving her a ring and tried to focus on the white couple With love island you win 100k so they were actively trying to sabotage their connection by not showing the full circle of their connection
theres a short film called "razed sequins" and a show based upon the short called "unreal" that are about the behind the scenes of a bachelor type reality show and how manipulative and gross reality TV is behind the scenes. Highly recommend for any dating show fans!
Right, just seems like she's really boring. Also, her talking about how she doesn't like men riding things gave ME the ick. I smell undercurrents of homophobia
Anyone else watch these videos and wonder how Kendall would describe you in a one-sentence summary like she does with the notable cast? Like, would she think I'm funny, or would she find me annoying? No? Just me? Cool.
She would probably describe most of us as someone, she would get along with. We arent problematic and we are unashamed about our love of "trash" tv. What is there not to like?
He gives off faux humility. You don’t want her to get pregnant, but you don’t want to wear condoms although you know birth control affects her negatively, yet you tell her you don’t want her to compromise if it messes with her body. You’re essentially pushing her into a corner.
He’s SO gross for that… and I was on his side about the military even though I adore Marissa (I’m Ex Mormon too). I have a lot of family members who are/were in the military and I don’t blame the individuals who are indoctrinated into American exceptionalism & patriotic militarism. I blame the system that coerces them to sacrifice their safety in order to fight wars for the benefit of American corporations.
Yeah nah disagreements happen in every relationship and you shouldn’t let that ruin what you have you should be able to live outside of an echo chamber… but politics aren’t tiny disagreements theyre literal life changing decisions
Right? I get so annoyed when people get all preachy about how ‘sad’ it is that people let politics get in the way of relationships. What world do these people live in - do they understand what the term ‘politics’ encompasses? A LOT
Exactly.. your politics are an expression of your values. They matter a lot, especially in the US with one side trying their darnedest to repeal human rights. And as a straight woman, you are just setting yourself up for failure if you date a redpill trumper🤣🤣
notice how it's always people with the worst politics that downplay the importance of politics in relationships (including platonic and familial) THE MOST, yet they never change their politics for the sake of their relationships. It's almost like they know it's a big factor and want you to undervalue your beliefs in order to make room for theirs lol.
@@elleofhearts8471 Reminds me of Purple Hearts where the girl learns to look past his misogyny and racism for "love". While he learns to keep that shit to himself b/c she's "one of the good ones" 💀
She walked that statement back. According to her Tiktok started dating the guy in 2013 and he was a republican and they broke up in 2016 bc of his support of Trump. Given she was Mormon at the time, she was likely a republican as well so it's unsurprising she was willing to date a republican.
Justice for the lady on the beach, please. She’s a mature woman who looked fantastic, not a zombie. How about we focus on the fact that Nick can have a platonic interaction with a woman, instead of acting like there’s no way a woman over 40 could take down a guy his age. Because I know plenty of 40 and 50 year old women that could.
This 42 year old agrees. But it's only immaturity/insecurity speaking when the only insult you can come up with is "she's old" there's no way a man would want her...Shoot, these days, it's honestly difficult to even gauge how old a person is based on looks. But the point is, you'll be old one day too!
Very much understand the “that kind of suburban Black person”. The constant smile is part of it. I think it’s a mechanism to be seen as a “friendly” not offensive Black person. It’s the “I’m Black but I’m not that kind of Black person” smile.
As someone from the DMV, I can say the biggest issue with this season is that they chose so many transplants. Most of the people they chose are here because their jobs are here, and they’ll be gone again in a couple of years, off to somewhere else. That’s legitimately part of the reason why dating in DC sucks, because you can never count that it’s someone that’s going to be in the area for a while. Additionally, they had such a hard time casting in the area they stretched the borders from Baltimore to Fredricksburg, VA, which is a massive amount of area they’re covering and they’re not DC people lol. That being said, Leo is probably the most accurate for what dating in the DC area is like.
Yep! I'm also from the area and you hit the nail on the head. I saw the cast and didn't even bother watching. This was really Love is Blind: Tyson's Corner 🙄
@@pixiestxNyomouf the DC dating scene is half a date and half a networking opportunity. everything here is about who you know and how much money you make. there’s a certain level of acceptance that you may not know what your partner actually does for work because they have signed NDAs and security clearances. and if a date doesn’t go well? if it wasn’t disastrously horrible then the mentality is “eh, well at least i know another person in XYZ field now.”
This season is the season that really cemented that you cannot trust anyone’s word. It’s about how well everyone talks themselves up, not who they are in the slightest. Usually there’s at least one or two couples that seem compatible and genuine, but this season was just a train wreck.
@@pixiestxNyomouf I feel like there was just a ton of drama in season two. I feel like this season just highlighted how almost everyone on this season is not looking for anything serious. It feels like evryone is projecting ridiculously fake versions of themselves, and are curating who they are as to not be undesirable in the pods. Like I said, this does happen every season, but this season has pretty much everyone having their own skeletons in their pods.
14:35 I feel like there's a difference between being bubbly and happy because you're so far removed from the problems of the world that they've become abstract, and being bubbly and happy because you're determined to be the light the world (and you) needs in dark times. Took me a while to learn the difference, and to move from one to the other.
@@surbhidhuppad786 Honestly even if her personality is not your thing, I don't get all the hate for her (esp. from those who have seen the full season). She is DEFINITELY the second. She had a very rough upbringing, used to be Mormon, and went from being in the military to having definite moral qualms about being in it. I found her to be very level-headed and nuanced. Just because she is very smiley and friendly doesn't mean she's not thoughtful and intelligent.
about the "getting taken care of by a man" conversation, something I've noticed is that ppl whose moms were actual stay-at-home mothers/home-makers don't want that in the future because we realize the realities of this living situation (as kennie said, it's annoying not to have your own financial independence), and I've met quite a lot of women who want to be "trophy wives" despite having working moms
It's basically for the same reason, most of the time, like the way I saw my mom absolutely kill herself working her ass off and taking care of me and oftentimes even taking care of the dude she's with to an extent has definitely left an impression on me that I don't really want to sacrifice 75% of my time as well as my mental health to barely scrape by
like the person above said, expending most of your resources for the survival of others isn't fun either. Especially when you're barely or not even actually surviving. And having that role modeled for you makes being idle rich seem very attractive. I think your anecdote just goes to show that there are many working class mothers who haven't enjoyed a satisfactory work-life balance due to the second shift(TM) or single motherhood than there are mothers who are genuinely idle rich. I think we have a long way to go for women to achieve a healthy and happy medium whether single or married and that a shrinking middle class and lack of a social saftey net is making that increasingly unattainable.
That makes sense if your mom was busting her butt working that their daughter might not want that struggle and idealizes the thought of being taken care of by a man. It's like the grass is always greener situation.
My mom was a sahm and still to this day she tells me not to ever rely solely on a man. Her and my dad are still happily married but she always reiterates that to me.
It's so funny, back before I became a leftist and still ID'd as a liberal, I was dating a center-right guy for years. It was fine because we were both too mentally checked out of politics to discuss it, take stances, etc. so the differences hid under the surface. The second I moved further left and he moved further right? Constant fighting. We ended up breaking up because of it, like I couldn't unsee the fact he, say, believed the majority of SA cases were women just lying to harm a man or the fact he VEHEMENTLY opposed universal Healthcare or the fact he started saying some extremely sus shit about race. To say "I don't care about your politics, I just care about who you are as a person" means politics are such a peripheral, abstract & trivial thing in your life, you can function under the misguided belief that politics aren't a reflection of your core values and thus matter A LOT in dating.
When Hannah kept going on about how she thought he'd be bigger, I was like, "Have you seen his pectorals??" She's making it sound like he got a bird chest. 💀 💀 💀
She thought he would be bigger based on all of his descriptions of himself. I don't particularly like the woman, but I understand why she was thrown off
Being independent financially is so. Important. Never get in a situation where you depend on someone else to live. That is a breeding ground for abuse.
this, and not only abuse, but boring circumstances as qell. Financial dependence can make you so comfortable that you don't leave an unfulfilling relationship which is a waste of time all the same. While that isn't nearly as obviously toxic, common and dramatic as a straightforwardly abusive relationship, it can be just as soul sucking and personally stifling. Getting too comfortable makes you complacent, vulnerable, and deprived of stimulation and satisfaction. You can become robotic and perfunctory that way and in it's own way is a version of hell.
According to the children's mother and photos she showed, they were not a "sperm donor" kids, he was FULLY invested in their lives, I think is insane how woman will come on this show and talk about their kids non-stop while men will LITERALLY pretend they don't exist, that's WILD to me.
21:56 my mom getting divorced three times taught me it’s ok to get divorced and to have higher standards when it comes to getting legally fucking tied to someone.
Right? Plus, I feel, that entering a hetero marriage with the external pressure to make it work at all cost just gives MORE leeway to husbands to treat their wives poorly.
27:22 the main reason that was probably a subconscious red flag was because hyper-masculine men have a tendency to base their ideologies off animals, ie the whole alpha wolf beta wolf thing. And they usually see picking up women as a sport, so if not a wolf it’s always some sort of predator animal and women, of course, are the prey 🙄
It's not better when they don't have a fursona (because let's be real, that's what it is). They just go "CAVEMEN take their mates without consent blah blah I'm a real man who only eats meat like CAVEMEN did"
Where is the hyper masculine man fixated on the sloth lifestyle??? Entirely vegan, and you only poop once a week. THAT guy sounds so much more interesting to me idek
nick D was my sisters real estate agent for finding an apartment and she was so shocked at everyone thinking he was so suave because her impression of him was that he was both incredibly bland and also insecure lol
very interesting. I noticed that his eyes are sometimes nervously shifting around. So maybe he can talk well but his body language indicates his insecurities.
1:02:29 the nail in the coffin for Leo and Brittany is when he proposed to her in the reveal with a silver square ring when she explicitly said she only wears gold and wanted an oval 💀 that just made me mad lol

SIS you hit the nail on the head! I’m mixed Black/Afro Latino grew up in Philly , got Black family in Baltimore and Norfolk and I lived in DC, Arlington, Richmond and Williamsburg for over 10 years, I’m an alum of William and Mary…and I say all that to say there is a real disconnect between the urban Blackness I’ve experienced in Philly and Baltimore and Norfolk vs the suburban bougie Blackness of NOVA (northern VA) & the DMV (DC Maryland VA) region. Its people whose parents work for the defense industry or international NGOs or whatever and you’re 100% correct: they are disconnected from Black politics, Blackness to them is an aesthetic, a TikTok dance, a seasoning on their fish, a plot device in a Issa Rae show; but it’s not a mobilizing politic or a coalition movement. To be fair, even old school urban Black DC that was known as “Chocolate City” aka SE aka Anacostia: that’s real DC, that’s real Black; the suburban Blackness of Silver Spring, MD for example is so irksome and irrelevant as a political economic formation. Black capitalism and uplift respectability is so empty!
Not every black person has to care about black politics and there are many of us that are conservatives. Honestly kennie saying that Marissa was red flag just for dating a trump supporter is very off putting

I disagree, Kennie - the only info I needed was that Tyler didn't tell her about it in the pods. That was the time to do it. Especially because he sees the kids. He also didn't tell her about it in Mexico when they would have time away from cameras. Even if he really was JUST a sperm donor, just the fact that he hid it for all that time would terrify me. How long would he hide something from Ashley if it WAS bad news? He's dangerous to me.
right? having ANY involvement with the kids even if it's not a traditional co parenting situation is still a deal breaker for many people. Myself included. I would be pissed af if someone i was dating didnt tell my childfree self they have 1 kids in their life to that extent let alone 3 (red flags of that aside). Kids to any degree of involvement is a dealbreaker to somebody. And he knows that. He thinks his overly compensatory fake religiosity is going to make her think he's a reformed bad guy, turned good guy who did a good thing for a good reason. I get what you mean. No identity of her own. No individuality. Conformist. Almost stepford wife-like. The kind to not rock the boat. Doesn't want to risk stepping on toes. People pleaser.
What actually gave me pause about Ramses, before the second part of episodes came out was the fact that, when Marissa asked him about being a stay at home dad and taking care of the kids, he said: “I’ll help you”. Like it’s still HER fucking job to manage the household and they’re not two equally responsible adults. I guess you have to be a working mom for that to get your alarm bells ringing 🥲
I don’t remember him saying that. I remember him saying a whole lot of “I’m fine with it being whatever it will be” which irked me because that’s not an answer.
I feel like Netflix needs to do some changes 1. Better vetting and just have paid drama actors sign NDAs mixed in to have a guarantee storyline that doesn't involve regular people - There needs to be ACTUAL couples for me to care 2. Longer time in the PODs with set questions people ask. 3. Counsel needs to be involved in case people aren't safe or having a hard time navigating The show would be actually more interesting.
Its been said they do "push" them to ask certain questions when I believe if they vetted them you should not have to have to tell grown adults what to ask.
28:01 yeah, married people will fully leave their partners if they get sick. Not always, but enough to where it’s a valid concern when you’re married and start having health problems. Not abandoning your partner who’s having health issues is basic human decency. Even if you stay with them, you don’t get to say “well I stayed with you when other people would have left so I must be a good partner.” No! You’re doing the bare minimum! It’s basic human decency! You can be a horrible abusive awful partner, but just because you stayed with your partner when they got sick doesn’t automatically make you a good partner. “Will stay with you when you have health problems” is a baseline quality for anyone you’re looking to form a good relationship with.
There was a redacted study that really overestimated how many men leave their sick wives but the divorce rate is usually the same. On the individual scale a man that left his sick girlfriend would have left his sick wife and the way health insurance works in the US I think that would give her more problems
That money guy sounds like the type to kill his wife instead of divorcing them because he doesn't want her to take his money. Maybe I watch too much true crime
He reminded me sm of that one college kid that killed his girlfriend after she broke up with him by literally breaking down her door and hitting her. I get what you’re trying to say with Hannah by saying she’s not plus size but in the beauty standard of how thin the “ideal” body type is… she doesn’t fit into that. Her feelings are valid and she’s not just making them up out of thin air.
Just because you aren't thin doesn't mean you're plus size though. I know what you are saying but she still used the wrong word for it. Plus size isn't just "not thin", it's what people would call "fat". I know the Internet has harsh standards but irl in normal settings, that's what plus size as a descriptor is referring to. But obviously I feel bad that she feels like her body looks different than what it actually looks like.

The more I watch love is blind, the more I see how NOT blind love is and I do not mean the physical reveal. I feel like less people have had at-the-moment of reveal negative reactions to just looks as in face structure and general attractiveness, but reactions to height differences comes up a lot for example. To the point that it can be a deal breaker or a win no matter how the person “looks” otherwise. also people’s vibes in person have been deal breakers in ways they weren’t when like you couldn’t see facial reactions. People also send their ‘representatives’ in the pods sometimes and in the real world, a lot comes out in the nuance of that. On the other hand, I think there is some value is sussing out something you are insecure about ahead of time during pod time, so I am of two minds about what is okay/not okay to discuss that’s “physical” in the pods. Like if you are tall AND insecure about being tall as a woman or short as a man (the opposite insecurities rarely happen) there is some value in not being rejected for that later and just presenting it in the pods. I think there’s a difference in it coming up naturally as you are getting to know each other through other conversations and leading with it as an introduction. I think the latter is more destructive to the experiment than the first. And when you are talking about “yourself” with someone a lot about your physical (like being plus sized) may have had a major impact on who you are and hard to totally avoid without feeling like you are hiding important details about yourself that’s not neccessarily physical, but exist because of some sort of reality that your have lived in your body (like your ethnicity is NOT just “how you look” it impacts who you are culturally).
Hannah reminds me a bit of Zeinab - a someone who has issues within the self that has them viewing their partner's actions as more pointed and attacking than the truth.
as a DC native this is giving va translplant energy. honestly the reason they had a hard time casting is because the interesting people who would past the screening they have security clearance and or a reputation that they wont risk.
Ok, so this is my racism speaking………. I have no idea where habibi takes place……. But um… I just feel like the premise of this show doesn’t make much sense in a culture where arranged marriages aren’t… like weird. Y’know what I mean? Like doing this in America, with hook up culture, and situationships, and 15 year long live in boyfriends not sure if they want to commit to marriage is a very weird, novel idea. But in some places if you tell young people they have 10 days to get to know someone to marry, they’d be like “I get ten WHOLE days?? Wow!”
As the episodes progress, you start to see that Hannah is still mentally stuck in her high school cheerleader era. It’s 2024. You don’t look the same as you did then. And she projects that high school mean girl behavior towards Nick.
As soon as I finished watching the available episodes the other day, I’ve been eagerly anticipating your takes. Just wait until you watch episodes 7 and 8 you’re really gonna be over it lol.
Every year with LIB there are more engagements than slots. Season one had 11 engagements and they chose 5 to take to Mexico and follow to the weddings. Every single season. You make an EXCELLENT point about the scrubbing of the IG page being directed by LIB and also LIB’s NDA would prevent Tyler from talking about their influence.
Power move for tall women- get yourself a pair of Pleasers or Hella Heels- the tallest you can manage- and turn up. The only reason I recommend those brands is because they specialize in making tall heels that you're supported in and less likely to accidentally break.
1:03:29 I don’t beleive that Brittany and Leo were not chosen by the producers. What all producers want is drama and the the weird love triangle between Leo, Brittany and Hannah had way too much potential drama to just throw away. I think what actually happened is that Brittany realised she had messed up by saying yes to Leo and she knew it would end badly, but she wanted to at least give it a try privately, away from the cameras. Or maybe some other reason. But theres no way it was the producers' decision.
tbh I feel bad for Nick D. He came back after Hannah basically threw him away, and now she is being difficult and expects him to do all the work. She's pretty miserable and self centered. While he's cute and seems like a lot of fun. He needs to break it off I think. But some of this could be due to editing.

They have...they weren't feeding them and providing them unlimited alcohol. They don't give two shits about the cast
Most people suck and we just have to get used to that unfortunately

every season i'm like "wow this is the worst one yet!" and every season they just make me repeat myself!!
That's honestly just evil.... "Reality" TV is so upsetting
Reminds me of Love Island this season where the the producer told the winners, Serena and Kordell, different things, and that made her get off the dance floor and she told KeKe Palmer in an interview that they did not show him giving her a ring and tried to focus on the white couple
With love island you win 100k so they were actively trying to sabotage their connection by not showing the full circle of their connection

He gives off faux humility. You don’t want her to get pregnant, but you don’t want to wear condoms although you know birth control affects her negatively, yet you tell her you don’t want her to compromise if it messes with her body. You’re essentially pushing her into a corner.

To say "I don't care about your politics, I just care about who you are as a person" means politics are such a peripheral, abstract & trivial thing in your life, you can function under the misguided belief that politics aren't a reflection of your core values and thus matter A LOT in dating.

I feel like even her mom is like “marissa is bossy” but we’ve neeever seen her like that??? so who is she
I get what you mean. No identity of her own. No individuality. Conformist. Almost stepford wife-like. The kind to not rock the boat. Doesn't want to risk stepping on toes. People pleaser.
@@elleofhearts8471Why are you describing me🤧
@@elleofhearts8471that’s exactly how she was able to date a trump supporter when you can clearly tell her values do not align with that.
I can’t believe I didn’t catch that!
I don’t remember him saying that. I remember him saying a whole lot of “I’m fine with it being whatever it will be” which irked me because that’s not an answer.
“has freckles and is lightskin” took me OUT
I read this as she said it, I’m so done 💀💀💀💀
I feel like Netflix needs to do some changes
1. Better vetting and just have paid drama actors sign NDAs mixed in to have a guarantee storyline that doesn't involve regular people - There needs to be ACTUAL couples for me to care
2. Longer time in the PODs with set questions people ask.
3. Counsel needs to be involved in case people aren't safe or having a hard time navigating
The show would be actually more interesting.
Allegedly Netflix does use plants so who knows if they actually do use actors 👀
Its been said they do "push" them to ask certain questions when I believe if they vetted them you should not have to have to tell grown adults what to ask.
@@daughterofyah6209 grown adults without the pressure of TV don't ask questions before marriage 😭 they just jump in
This would happen if they actually cared about the well-being of these people, but they just don't.
Seeing Leo's hand on Brittany's neck gave me fight or flight GIRL RUN-
28:01 yeah, married people will fully leave their partners if they get sick.
Damn, whatever happened to "in sickness and in health"?
Especially when it's the wife. They are expected to care for the husband but it's NEVER returned
It’s usually men leaving women and not the other wat around.
There was a redacted study that really overestimated how many men leave their sick wives but the divorce rate is usually the same. On the individual scale a man that left his sick girlfriend would have left his sick wife and the way health insurance works in the US I think that would give her more problems
It's always the wife that's abandoned/cheated on too. Like, statistically
Marissa's "All Lives Matter!" energy also filled me with irrational rage lol, glad I'm not the only one
Something important you missed is that he isn't talking about his actual dog- he's referring himself in the third person as "the dog".
That money guy sounds like the type to kill his wife instead of divorcing them because he doesn't want her to take his money. Maybe I watch too much true crime
no fr I literally felt like I was watching a sexual assault during their reveal
He reminded me sm of that one college kid that killed his girlfriend after she broke up with him by literally breaking down her door and hitting her. In his police interview he had no idea she was dead until he had given his whole alibi and I stg the fit he threw after finding out was very much Leo after Hannah told him she chose Nick.

That Leo impression is spot on
Kennie, DC was not at all accurately reflected in this season. These were the transplants and gentrifiers. Also... MUTTT????
And she agreed! A match made in hell!
🙃
Gentrifiers is a stretch girl, it’s literally the nation’s capitol 😂 it’s inherently going to have a plethora of wealthy people
@@jessicapassey2471No, NotKeKePalmer is right. There’s a different between rich people and gentrifiers. These people gentrified DC and like Taylor even mentioned she wants to, will move within a few years after out pricing the natives from their hometown.

atomic twins have been doing some really funny stuff as well 😭 my holy trio of LIB. check them out!
THEY’RE SO FUNNY and the reason i started watching the show after 7 seasons😭 honestly they’re my comfort duo

No but I'm small and if I was dating a woman taller than me and some of the first sentences she'd say to me when we met was "Wow you're small. And I know a lot of men are insecure about that" I would definetely feel like she's not okay with it.
5'11 isn't even small lol
I grimaced when you said the woman said her goal was to get married and never go through divorce bc like baby you should not be on love is blind if that’s your goal, also hot take but divorce is a good thing and more ppl should feel comfortable w getting divorces bc it can be what really saves your life
Lmao I can’t wait until she watches the rest of the episodes for an updated opinion on Ramses
I think she said she lost a good bit of weight before going on the show. So I can see where that mental struggle may come from.
that guy who is so fascinated by the idea of lions as leaders when in reality lions often don't do much but lay around while the lionesses do most of the hunting? yeah that's, uh, that's a red flag announcing itself
Literallyyyyyy lions are the proof that being an apex predator in your ecological niche has NOTHING to do with the grindset 😭😭 toxic Protestant work ethic psyche debunked!!! They sleep like 20 hours a day and fuck around for an additional 3!!!!!
First things first, THAT BEAT IS EATING TF DOWNNN
You look gorgeous girl ❤
At this point can we please just make, ‘Love Is Blind’ into what it always should have been - a reality show about dating for people with visual disabilities!
As a Moroccan girly I really want to recommend you try watching ‘love is blind habibi’ but I think you will get very very angry if you do watch that 😂 I started watching it right after I finished this season of the us version and even though I obviously know the cultural differences, I was still so shocked by some of it. Especially cause it’s just such a sharp contrast from the us one. A lot of the male cast members especially would be sooo cancelled if they were on any of the western versions.

As a native Washingtonian and someone who has grew up in DC, I don't think these people are DC natives or residents. It's giving transplant or people from VA. That usually where the conservatives be at. I ain't hear not one DC accent or the usual vibes you get from your typical Washingtonian. Just something to keep in mind. The folks who are from the area knows what I mean.
I picked up that vibe from the trailer and that’s why I didn’t bother to watch. I don’t think a single person was actually from DC or even lives there. This is more like Love is Blind: Fairfax County.
Yeah, I knew this was going to be Love is Blind DMV, but some people don’t even have family in the area.
Apparently they had a hard time casting people for this season so they opened up the area from Fredericksburg to Baltimore
Oh my. I didn't even know there was a new season 😂
Low key the 90 day fiancé of Netflix at this point
Oh my days, remember when 90 day fiancé was good?
It got weird for me when Big Ed slathered mayo on his head. But it was my guilty pleasure regardless 😂
so accurate
90 Day Fiance is my mom's shit. She watches that and all the spinoffs
40:25 … It was especially weird when she was talking about the things she had to do in her past career in the same way. Smiling, giggling, laughing, I hope it’s a nerves thing.
Alex actually has storytimes here on UA-cam with dormtainment. One story was about a time when she chased her boyfriend over a bridge in Miami or something like that. That might give an insight on anger issues
What???
@RogueVideoRaven it might've been deleted, but they did upload it twice before. I think it's like how that Tyler situation is with the kids.

I’m traumatized whenever our area is featured in the news, online, or on reality tv, it’s never anything positive.
I just made a comment in reference to this but I don't even think these people are from DC. It's doesn't give that at all. We're some interesting folks but not this lol
@@mariedelaurentiisSomeone else here in the comments said that they had a really hard time casting so they opened up the area from Baltimore to Fredericksburg
@devonmunn5728 that makes sense.
Love is Blind Habibi has lowkey been rocking my world lately. It's pretty good so far
re: the blonde former cheerleader who seems to have body issues. white folks have different standards for fatness. idk if this was filmed around the time that we started snapping back to extreme 2000’s era body ideals, but i could imagine that as a factor as well
I’VE NEVER CLICKED A NOTIF SO FAST IN MY LIFE
The more I watch love is blind, the more I see how NOT blind love is and I do not mean the physical reveal.

Everything you said about being independent and finances as it relates to men, CONVINCES me you'll be thoroughly entertained by Love Is Blind Habibi😭

“Last but certainly LEAST to me.” 😂😂😂
Mexico is complicated...habibi is bad 😂
Habibi was Wiiild‼️‼️
Is it worth it to watch Habibi? As of now, I’m not planning on it
Ok, so this is my racism speaking………. Wow!”

whaaaat who would have thought.....
Kennie, you make Love is Blind more entertaining than actually watching the show.
I can't wait for next Saturday!!!
As SOON as I watched this season... I KNEW the Kennie JD video was gonna go NUTS. I'm beyond excited 🎉
Right? They didnt want to see Leo keep making an *ss of himself???
tbh I feel bad for Nick D.
He came back after Hannah basically threw him away, and now she is being difficult and expects him to do all the work.
She's pretty miserable and self centered. While he's cute and seems like a lot of fun. He needs to break it off I think. But some of this could be due to editing.
