I haven't even got to that part, but hell yes. I own my own house, and it's not big or fancy, but as I'm single I have considered what would happen if I met someone. I'd never put someone else's name on my house, but I wouldn't let them pay the mortgage either, because it's mine. Just find a compromise like them paying more for the utilities and don't put your house on the line.

I have BPD and have had horrendous reactions toward my partner and very quickly I realised that I needed to work on myself because my behaviour was now hurting someone other than myself. I still work every single day to keep myself happy and healthy. I've been with my fiancée for 7 years and we're now getting married. You can't allow your own trauma to affect others, that's how you become the abuser. Catherine can't put her trauma on anyone, she can share it with her partner but at the end of the day it's her shit to work through. No one else can work through your trauma other than you

I also have BPD and haven’t been in a relationship for almost 3 years because I know full well that if I want someone to treat me with the love and respect I deserve then I should work on myself to get to that point of providing the same too. Plus, I’ve watched my own Dad be abusive to my Mum up until last year, and I always promised my Mum that no matter what happens I would never put up with someone like that

I feel for Freddy, I worked on a crematorium for three years and the one thing that gets you through such a difficult and traumatic job is humour and a positive safe place to go to once the work day is over. ❤

My friends have plenty of 'Tiger' parents and they are extremely tactless by western standards about education, appearances, etc... (my best friends mum told her 1 week after having her first child that she was fat and needed to wear a girdle/shapewear! She's Vietnamese and petite, not at all overweight) Yet this was next level. The Mum totally projected her bad decisions upon her daughter. Imagine if her daughter had taken her advice? She's got massive control issues, I think she's actually jealous of her daughter and scared of losing her to a man. I hope you have good self confidence. Take care.

What keeps getting missed is that Ollie was going into the pods to break it off with Catherine when she said it first. I think that’s significant because Ollie did choose Demi. Thank you for an hour video. Your take on Catherine trying to change Freddie and that there's a person everyone made me honestly cry. Right now, I don't feel like there's anyone for me, and I don't feel good enough for anyone. My last relationship was 12 years long, and he cheated on me for the whole last year of the relationship, and he really put me down and knocked my confidence to an all-time low.

I don’t think Misses Bossy McSnooty-Pants belongs in a relationship with a sweet, funny guy. I feel more like she should be in a relationship with a wealthy guy who doesn’t wash his sack, so that they can have boring sex and bland conversation for the next 40 years, but neither of them can escape the relationship because everyone at the country club would gossip about their divorce. That kind of seems more like her vibe.
Around 41:00 that scene really annoyed me, me and my fiancé laugh and piss around all the time, it's a lifelong commitment a relationship why can't your partner be your best friend and your partner, she's so miserable 😂
So she doesn’t want to be his friend and have a laugh and fun, you can tell she’s one of those people that doesn’t think you should have friends when you’re in a relationship. But also doesn’t want to do anything other than be spoiled like a princess! I only watch 'reality TV' shows through Cam's reaction videos and I don't think I've ever seen a guy as sweet as Freddie (plus extremely attractive but still having humility and humbleness to boot) - especially on the coupling kinds of series without them coming off as over-the-top, creepy try-hards. It was really refreshing to see a guy who was naturally a bit of a joker without needing to put others down in the process, devoted to his loved ones, and smart enough to think about those he'd leave behind being taken care of. I know we don't get to see the full extent of somebody's personality because of the way things are edited (which goes both ways) but throughout, all I could think of is how such a well-rounded guy would be wasted on somebody superficial, domineering and being resigned to being somebody's shopping bag holder 'yes-man' or arm-candy to bring drinks over for their partner and their friends. As grim as the actual moment at the alter was for both of them - and it now being completely public - I'm glad he didn't settle for that kind of treatment because it would have only gotten worse as the relationship progressed and they grew more miserable together. P.S: Another fantastic video, Cam. Thanks for being pretty much my only connection to 'the outside world' into other people's lives that I otherwise would have absolutely no interest in whatsoever. I can honestly say I've never watched an entire episode of this, Love Island or the other similar series you cover of my own volition. Soemtimes a blessing, sometimes (Mostly), it makes me glad I don't bother even trying to date pahaha.

We got to study this show (the american version) when i was doing psychology in college. We were studying relationships and i was so hyped to just be able to watch a show cause it meant no hard work but i ended up obsessed with the show instead of just discussing the premise its based on 😅

Thank you for an hour video. Your take on Catherine trying to change Freddie and that there's a person everyone made me honestly cry. Right now, I don't feel like there's anyone for me, and I don't feel good enough for anyone. My last relationship was 12 years long, and he cheated on me for the whole last year of the relationship, and he really put me down and knocked my confidence to an all-time low.

I don’t think Misses Bossy McSnooty-Pants belongs in a relationship with a sweet, funny guy. I feel more like she should be in a relationship with a wealthy guy who doesn’t wash his sack, so that they can have boring sex and bland conversation for the next 40 years, but neither of them can escape the relationship because everyone at the country club would gossip about their divorce. That kind of seems more like her vibe.

So she doesn’t want to be his friend and have a laugh and fun, you can tell she’s one of those people that doesn’t think you should have friends when you’re in a relationship. But also doesn’t want to do anything other than be spoiled like a princess! Honestly having a laugh and being best friends who can go out and have fun with each other doing random stuff is the best in a relationship.

Laughed so hard and yet felt bad at the same time for the families. Thank you for speed explaining this series. I never had the patience to watch reality shows. I only watch 'reality TV' shows through Cam's reaction videos and I don't think I've ever seen a guy as sweet as Freddie (plus extremely attractive but still having humility and humbleness to boot) - especially on the coupling kinds of series without them coming off as over-the-top, creepy try-hards. It was really refreshing to see a guy who was naturally a bit of a joker without needing to put others down in the process, devoted to his loved ones, and smart enough to think about those he'd leave behind being taken care of.
I know we don't get to see the full extent of somebody's personality because of the way things are edited (which goes both ways) but throughout, all I could think of is how such a well-rounded guy would be wasted on somebody superficial, domineering and being resigned to being somebody's shopping bag holder 'yes-man' or arm-candy to bring drinks over for their partner and their friends.
As grim as the actual moment at the alter was for both of them - and it now being completely public - I'm glad he didn't settle for that kind of treatment because it would have only gotten worse as the relationship progressed and they grew more miserable together.
P.S: Another fantastic video, Cam. Thanks for being pretty much my only connection to 'the outside world' into other people's lives that I otherwise would have absolutely no interest in whatsoever. I can honestly say I've never watched an entire episode of this, Love Island or the other similar series you cover of my own volition. Soemtimes a blessing, sometimes (Mostly), it makes me glad I don't bother even trying to date pahaha.

Poor Freddie my heart hurts for him. My partner of 8 years broke up with meme because it took him that long to realise he didn’t love me so I feel for some of the people on this show.

GIRL, you are upset that he's funny? Because it makes you feel like his friend? Being friends is arguably the most important part! I feel like a lot of people who love each other end up not liking each other, and being friends and actually LIKING and having fun with your partner is a good indicator of longevity. Poor Freddie!

We got to study this show (the american version) when i was doing psychology in college. We were studying relationships and i was so hyped to just be able to watch a show cause it meant no hard work but i ended up obsessed with the show instead of just discussing the premise its based on 😅
Do you remember the ages of the contestants on the US seasons? The UK people in general seemed so much more mature.

Whatever possessed her to pick Sam , I have never watched love is blind...but just seeing a few seconds of him , makes me really dislike him, I actually don't think I could stomach even spending 1 minute around him , he's obnoxious. And I'm getting awful flashbacks of another contestant from another dating show, who also picked a beautiful girl yet behaved as if she was something he scraped off his shoe . I don't know why guys like that think they're god's gift to women,when they can't even hold a decent conversation and they're usually very average looking aswell...yet they try to date people way out of their league. 🤦♀️🙄🤡.
