People misinterpreted Issac not sure why, he is cleaning, doing dishes, buying groceries and paying bills and getting stuff for her. He thinks she should clean after herself and he expects her to do something around the house because he left the house cleaned and without dishes and went to work and she’s there with dirty dishes and no job. If you live alone that’s fine but even if you live with roommates you are at least expect to clean after your own mess!
To be fair tho, if you want children, anyone not willing to cook or do housework is a red flag in the long run. Basically means that you can't leave the children with that person. Better pray you're never sick or disabled either. Just my 2 cents on that
First admiral, then ad roll and now Adderall Kennie? 😅 I don't think shes medicated, but she hasn't mentioned the animal with cymbals playing in her head in a bit 😅
15:20 what you were picking up in Khanya’s accent is “posh” African. Popularized by many east and southern Africans that have to let you know that they come from money and went to international school😂
The one who was dating for like 2 years but didn’t know where he lived, his family, and wasn’t allowed to call him was wild. I hope it comes up in your recap
I also thought the first couple episodes were a bit boring so I gave up…but I thank you Kennie for enduring the entirety of this season to feed us the content. You deserve all compensation
I blame it on this possibly being the first season, could also explain why most of the issues stemmed from "core basics" of the US like breaking, "cheating" and ect. It was a slow burn indeed UNTIL that get together 😅 everybody was in the bubbles frfr
"i can give a long explanation until people get lost in my words. and i get away with it" literally does a little hehehe villain laugh 😂😂bro should take up voice acting
Due to watching shows like Queen Sono (RIP) and Blood & Water I've grown a affinity for South African names (pretty sure most of the ones I heard tend to be Zulu as well as Xhosa) they roll off the tongue well (like the name Phumelele I love)
I love how this show will never run out of couples who will not have a fucking conversation beforehand. What? You think you're going on this show for your partner to have a roommate for a while so they can finally propose to you? Everyone is encouraged to act like they are single. If you don't want them to be single? Why go on the show. Ruth is the only one I remember who has ever understood the assignment.
South Africa is 1 thing, let's take it to Nigeria Haiti or Jamaica and THEN I'll finally watch one of these shows instead of watching vicariously through Kennie.

If I'd been Ruth, and heard that "except my ex" [RADIO EDIT]? I'd have flipped a table. Ruth is a much better human being than I am. #TeamRuth 11:25
(edited for time stamp)
I’m surprised you didn’t mention Khanya’s horrible lace
It's SO bad. The first thing I noticed 🤣
It’s just not glued on correctly 😂
If he can't eat if I don't cook, then hear me when I say he will and can starve😂😂😂
Siza and Ruth are so pretty
Kakhulu esp Ruth. Most of South AH huns are GORGE!❤
Hearing you trying to unscramble the pure mess that is humanity on reality shows will always be my favourite types of videos from you
"he's like what do you bring to the table I AM THE TABLE"
GOLD, i'm stealing that one
I’ve seen a lot of those shirts on etsy but aside from that, how did it take me this long to realize that the Ultimatum is basically an evil Wife Swap meets Temptation Island?
The Nexflix formula is flawed because the premise/theme changes every season 😅 it's always a evil spin off of a nightmare
I said this the first time I saw that there was a South African version... and I say this with all the patriotic love in my heart
Us South Africans are not mentally stable enough to participate in a show like this😭😭
That’s why it’s so entertaining 😭
girl - have you SEEN American reality shows? Or heard any news story from Florida? Or literally anything about 90 day fiance?
@@f.d.5173So true! Although I feel like US shows have become pretty tame lately. I blame that on casting wannabe influencers that are mostly there to bag followers & future sponsorships.
Those early seasons were wild and messy af, though. Half of it wouldn't be aired nowadays. 😂
I didn't think the French were either, but the Ultimatum France was surprisingly good and down to earth
NO ONE IS TBH.
So she expect him to pay for everything, but can’t cook and clean up? 🤦🏾♀️ He may be misogynistic, but she’s is delusional and lazy. People have to stop having traditional expectations, when they don’t plan on be traditional themselves.
i didnt like how Ruth acted about the cheating when it was revealed, but i understand why it happened. also Thabi and Siza were such twins! i was hoping Aiden and Thabi would have been in a trial marriage together.
Lebo deserved much better than Nolla and i love how she embarrassed him on TV and he still didnt understand a word she said. she stuck out until the reunion to do that! i also checked their Instagrams and she posted "after god fear Nolla!"
My fellow South African home-skillet biscuits lets gather here🤗
Hearing Kennie say "goofy boom boom" and "fatty boom boom" is killing me. 😂
As a South African trust me, we have our own dating shows and they're already messy af.
imagine she watches single and mingle☠
@@peebs3695 nah dawg, date my family 💀💀
@@sumweirdo0yoh yoh yohhh
I literally said second family thing the minute I saw Isaac!!
I dont know if Kennie will mention it in this video but... Thank GAWD those ugly ass metal glasses and cups are gone! The simple fact that those cups were gone and the first couple episodes being so chill sent me into a false sense of security 😅
also glad i wasnt the only one a)confused as shit about who was with who and what the dynamic was the first few episodes b)kept getting tabi and siza confused untill siza started beefing with khanya
Me too 😂
The engagement promise ring is a new low for me 😭😭😭. That wouldve been my final straw just walk away at that point
That Khanya lady is so terrible even her wig is trying to run away from her... I can't believe she has the audacity to say anything about anyone with that tragedy occurring on her scalp... For that reason alone I couldn't take her seriously...
😂
I’m so happy kennie watched “The Ultimatum SA” cause I thought she wouldn’t since is ‘foreign’ so as a South African who has been subscribed to kennie for years I’m so happy she talked about it😭😭 and it’s so messy
kennie craving peanut butter is me suddenly wanting pierogi at 2 am
update: rewatching 2 months later it's 3 am i want pierogi AGAIN
Me with chili pistachios last night. 🤣 🤷🏾♀️
@@Desaki65 those weird cravings coming so strong without any pregnancy. what is this!!! where's a scientific explanation
Me craving the fruitiest smoothies at any given moment
@@mimu3727 exactly! What. In. THE? 🤣 😋
OH MY GOODNESS SOUTH AFRICAN KENNIE STANS STAND UP!!!!!
"do you think its that deep" I LOVE THAT GIRL 😭
People misinterpreted Issac not sure why, he is cleaning, doing dishes, buying groceries and paying bills and getting stuff for her. He thinks she should clean after herself and he expects her to do something around the house because he left the house cleaned and without dishes and went to work and she’s there with dirty dishes and no job. If you live alone that’s fine but even if you live with roommates you are at least expect to clean after your own mess!
God the way Khanya's lace was fighting to get away from her I knew she had to be toxic.
Girl I had a horrendous day this is such a nice surprise thank you
I hope your day has gotten better
I think khanya expected nkateko to refuse taking part in this experiment and just choose her. Too bad it didn't go her way 🤭🤭
The clip at 21:06 where she says, "I am the table," needs to show up in the next Botchamania.
Can we normalize men wearing amazing fits like they did in this? I can't get over the white turtle neck with the beige jacket combo on Lindile.
Men or male identified can wear whatever they want.
@@dandredurand8262 eh?
i think it’s normalized in South Africa more perhaps? like every time i watch a program from SA the people are all dressed so good 😭
her pronunciation of the names 😭😭
We can cry and laugh then mourn for th Nkatego's of the world 🥲🫠
Watching this after Queen E was like nails on a board
@@pixiestxNyomouflove me some Queen E
The Lacheys need to be stopped.
One thing I noticed about this is that Lebo always has a Savanna in hand 🖐🏽😭
Moghel has problems😂
To wash away the stress😭
To be fair tho, if you want children, anyone not willing to cook or do housework is a red flag in the long run. Basically means that you can't leave the children with that person. Better pray you're never sick or disabled either.
Just my 2 cents on that
I swear that baby was conceived in that villa! I need another season off south africa 🙌🏿
For the longest I though you said “let me send it to aderall Kenny” and in my head it made sense cause usually you looked disheveled in the ad part 😅
lool what. First people thought she was saying admiral now aderall??
First admiral, then ad roll and now Adderall Kennie? 😅 I don't think shes medicated, but she hasn't mentioned the animal with cymbals playing in her head in a bit 😅
“I’d rather drag my 🐱on concrete” 😂🤣💀☠️
“I woke up irritated today” is so relatable 😂 Some days you just roll out of bed in a BAD MOOD.
15:20 what you were picking up in Khanya’s accent is “posh” African. Popularized by many east and southern Africans that have to let you know that they come from money and went to international school😂
It's the "private school" (/model C school) South African accent
“she issued an ultimatum because hes very secretive” girl that is a reason to NOT marry him now
I am South African and when I tell you this was more entertaining than the US version 😂😂😂
I don't watch reality TV, but listening to you lose your mind after subjecting yourself to it is always entertaining.
You are so mature for not bring up that lace front! 😂😂
Great reaction as always!
It gets really good around episode 4-5 after the recoupling
As a South African subscriber Kennie everytime you tried to do a South African accent it sent me😭
Khanya's lace front haunts my dreams... I'm like bb girl, there are youtube videos! Fix it!
My friend said that Khanya's battle should have been with the bad lace fron.
Return Of The Homiest Skilletist Of All Biscuititties. Huzzah, Praiseth Beeth.
I started watching it and I started losing my patience with some of these people... Thank you for coming to break this madness down!!!
"i can give a long explanation until people get lost in my words. and i get away with it"
literally does a little hehehe villain laugh 😂😂bro should take up voice acting
The Ultimatum to me is like a plague that the Netflix is spreading to other countries, like these countries deserve better dating shows than this
we need more african reality tv shows on netflix!!!
i love to see all the South Africans in the comments 😭❤
I was waiting for this one,as a South African and a fan of your takes on this messy series. The Ultimatum brings out the chaos all over the world
Not gonna lie, you crushed the pronunciation of names bestie 🥰 as a South African I'm so proud at the effort
Girl, it's like you read my Netflix history. I just watched the South African ultimatum!
South Africa is 1 thing, let's take it to Nigeria Haiti or Jamaica and THEN I'll finally watch one of these shows instead of watching vicariously through Kennie.
I found this episode to be so amusing. From Kennies South African accent to the madness of the show. As a South African this is peak entertainment.
Khanya's lace is STRESSING ME OUT she's already annoying af but the fact that I also have to look at THAT
