I just got this set to replace all of my Bauer tools (Harbor Freight). A little bump up I believe. The charger seems a little cheap. You'd think if they're sending 2 batteries they'd send you a way to charge them at the same time. Ditto on the light and probably the USB thing too. I've never had one but, with only 2 batteries, using it seems to be unnecessary. It's just one of those fillers so they can say 6-tool combo instead of the more appropriate 5-tool. Thanks for your review. It's good to know they will at least last 4 years. Now, to sell all of the Bauer crap...
I followed as soon as you said you were a tile guy ahaah! Respect my brother that was my first Trade aswell and it is one hell of a job ! Keep it up with these reviews !
If it works and get you money then so be it you get what works for you and what does the job don't let other people tell you what to buy unless they want to donate to you good video
Btw if you buy into porter cable they have a better charger and 4.0 ah batteries now tractor supply has a partnership with them they sell the charger for $39.00 on there website. Go check for yourself I use Ridgid skill and not the newer stuff from Chevron but when bosch owned them corded i do have a skill circular saw 13 amp had it years serves as purpose has paid for itself dozen times over same with the rest of my tools
I managed to snag the smaller set (no dfiver) about a year ago on a closeout for $99. Well worth it. I use the drill as an extra one, pretty much just keep a countersinking bit in there for project builds. The small circular saw, as you say, sucks battery juice, but is also a little underpowered. I've had it bog on a 2x4, and it won't do a PT 2x4. But I usually use it for quick trims of a 1x material anyway, and small plywood cuts. I originally got it to make it permanently part of a track saw build. But never got around to that. Haven't used the Sawzall one yet. Took it off the shelf for the first time a week ago, and couldn't get the head to protrude far enough to put a blade in. I'll try and find a manual for it someday to see what to do for that.
