That`s simply perfect tutorial how to approach to a spa! Thank you. My situation is a bit different. I have a "naked" corner spa tu with pre-installed 16 jets. They are just screwed a bit in the spa`s body, but not fixed and not connected with tubes. I have to do this myself. The don`t have any rubber washers in between inside and outside parts. Should I look for them or it needs to be waterproofed by silicone only, please? Another question, can I use a flexible hoses/pipes for water side connection? Some people insist it should be a rigid PVC connection only. Thank you
Spa jets have differing amounts of silicone added when they are installed. Pretty common that they have to either have the silicone trimmed off first or even cut the jet and locking ring off from the back. MRT ua-cam.com/video/c41dox7-l9c/v-deo.html
@@Marksreviewsandtutorials Tell me about it! Ended using an angle grinder and chisel to get the lock nut off. Absolutely nothing would budge it. Culprit was a large overflow of silicone into the thread. New one on and the pliers worked fine getting that nice and tight.
do you put new silicone around on the new replacement jet? similarly to how it was on before? thank you in advance
Hi Yes. I show you where and how much in this video.

What glue do you used to reconnect the water line?
Just use PVC pressure pipe glue. 👍
The most important bit you skipped. Was wsaiting to see how hard it was with the pliers. I cannot get mine to grip on the 117mm diameter at all.

Where’s the part where you make the connections? And about that sealing, do you show how that’s done?
Came here for this info (e.g. how much silicone to use, etc). But I guess "a miracle occurs" at this step. Wow.
