My biggest firearm regret was not buying a SCAR 17S in 2019/2020 before FN started making them from 24K Gold. My FFL had a brand new 17S for $2400, I still remember him saying "Buy this before they go up in price,..."

In the 60s it was before the firearm control act and u could buy them thro the mail and have them shipped to u. The nra sold them then out of magazines. My grandfather bought a 7x57mm brazilian mauser
On the aimpoint cover just cut the rear cap off. The red dot is still usable with the front covered and it gives the front lense protection. You can still fold the front back if you want

Yeah Agreeded BCM needs a government contract there amazing guns they should replace Colt as the new mil spec standard
They have one, just not a huge one. Fn replaced colt well.
@@UA-camflakelandI didn’t know they had a government contract that’s Awsome that they do . Yeah you are correct that FN replaced Colt . BCM is the gold standard in the gun community for milspec AR 15 though don’t you think.
@@williamzanetti7844 they're good as any for sure. There are so many companies nowadays you have to undercut everyone's price trying to be the cheapest to get a contract, they lose sight of what they started. Plus the civilian market makes them a good portion if I was betting. For the money bcm is hard to beat.
