I put a couple of 360 x3's spread outb25 yards from my stand. External batteries and big SD cards for continuous recording all day. Thanks for the content!
Thanks, very helpful and informative video JZ. You mentioned it, but I would stress the importance of a d-loop mounted thumb release as well. Nothing worse than trying to clip on a release in the heat of the moment 👍🏼
*Additional tip* if you are using an iPhone and you have an Apple Watch, you can use the side dial on your watch to zoom in and out. It has come in handy when I have my bow in hand and I need to zoom out slightly because the deer walked out of frame.
awsome video justin hope you and tod will have a good day for opening day of bow season the season in wisconsin doesn't open until saturday morning my dad and me will be out squirrel hunting on the opening day we wait until october to go out bow hunting so good luck and if you see a tom or hen turkey take one of them
I mainly hunt from the ground tucked inside of blowdowns and use a small Sony Video Camera with a remote on a tripod. After the shot, I have to manually move the camera to follow the deer, but it works. I also wear a Go-Pro strapped to my hat, and it moves when I move... Moving SLOWLY is the key to good videos using this technique, while you're just searching your surroundings for deer. Of course, the video quality SUCKS after you take the shot and you're moving around from all the excitement! But that's what film editing is all about. Good Hunting to all this season!
Pro tip: you don’t need a massive memory card. I use a big Anker for POV cams too. I just make sure the settings say always on. Don’t let it time out. Strap a GoPro remote to your bow, your other camera, swing arm, fluid head handle, wrist, whatever. Then you just have to hit record on the remote. Go pro stays on. Never EVER use a POV cam as your main cam. Never use it on your head, a bow, whatever. The footage is garbage and you’ll need Dramamine to view it
Oh how you are going to upset the Tactacam Pro Staff and fan boys. Don't you know that their bow mount camera system is the best thing ever for filming? 🤣 In all seriousness ... great video guys. As someone who runs 4 cameras ... minimum ... on every self filmed hunt, there is a ton that goes into it and there are cool options for every budget and level of producer. Vote Graff and JZ in 2024! Looks like an AX700 instead of an AX100. AX100 doesn't work with a LANC remote without 2 conversion cables. AX700 has 3.5 mm remote port on upper, rear, right side.

That's an awesome idea!

Using y'alls link to order a stiff arm now. The least I can do for providing great bowhunting content the last decade lol. Good luck this year guys!
Thanks for watching! Good luck this season!

Do you guys also use a wireless mic like the DJI’s.
Curious where you get a camera that small with a one inch sensor?
what software are you using to edit 360 footage?
What size SD cards do you guys use?
It all depends on what the camera will handle. Usually 256 or 512 GB.

Correct! I had an AX100 before this and misspoke in the video. Good catch.
bow mounted cameras should be viewed as a “recovery tool” not a “filming tool”
