Yeah it’s a great way to cool the body and have some extra hydration on you! And their icevents for shoulders or plate carrie roads help a lot with heat!
Pro Tip = I added the HSGI shoulder pads to my Hot Pursuit and it has been a game changer. Also hot pursuit is a regineered First Spear Crime Suppression. Not an outdated knock off JPC
I too love the Juggernaut phone case and chest mount. Great for ATAK, improvised chest cam, or even using it as your own personal movie setup haha. If your agency allows it, and you are willing to drop some money, the Qore Performance PC is really nice. It's obvious that you are familiar with Qore Performance as you have mentioned it and rock some of the QP parts. I personally have not found anything lighter and with better ventilation. Every little bit helps. Me personally, I use an angled flashlight on my duty belt, which allows me to just swivel it without even taking it out of the pouch for hands-free lighting in front of me. To make that work, I do use an open top pouch. To help protect the TQ more, you could try a pouch with a flap. Personally, I keep my tertiary weapon (the blade in this case) to be accessible with my off-hand. That way, even if someone goes for my weapon, and my main hand is say tied up during said retention, my off-hand can quickly get a knife out if necessary. Placing it on the off-hand side is still accessible with my main hand if necessary, but you may have to play with the placement a little as it may or may not interfere with your comms. As a last piece of recommendation to try out, you could try a dangler pouch for your IFAK (below your front PC). I don't know if or how much it will interfere with your duty belt, but if it works, it's better than placing it on your back. If you are ever injured, the last thing you want is having a hard time reaching your IFAK. In any case, great video. Thank you for sharing.
@@Pouncer_Fox Hey thanks for the descriptive response! As far as the ATAK yeah it’s great for all those things, I even use it as a mini table for lunch when I eat in the car. Count count how many times I found grains of rice or food inside of my placard haha. The Qore Performance EXO carrier is awesome! My agency allows us to use our own carriers depending on management as long as it’s ranger green and at the time I chose this carrier Becuase I wanted to give it a try but believe me I was definitely looking at the EXO carrier. It will be my next carrier eventually. As far as the flashlight I plan on getting an open top pouch for it because the pouch I have on it is just a cheap pouch given to me from the academy. The TQ on the placard I plan on getting the Defense Mechanisms TQ cover for the top to cover it up. The dagger blade I put on my firing side Becuase I run the radio on my off hand I figured if I’m getting in a tussle and someone grabs my firearm I may have some room to reach over to that side with my off hand and use it but I will definitely switch it mount and see how i like it.
@@Pouncer_Fox Also as far as the Ifak as a dangler I have thought about a Ferro concepts mini dangler but sitting in the vehicle the dangler would interfere with my belt so I was thinking of taking the Ifak off my belt and putting it in a Ferro concepts roll 1 on the back plate instead and to act as a cushion. Thank you again for the pieces of advice!
Love the setup man, if you’re getting rid of the mags on the vest I’d suggest putting a taser in its place, they don’t work in every situation but they are a fantastic tool. Love the vids man!
Thank you I appreciate it! I don’t normally take out a taser I know it’s a great tool to have though. My agency requirement is only 1 non lethal but I carry two the baton and the OC spray in the belt. Eventually I’ll sign one out to carry around though!
Sweet setup! My only suggestions would be to add an armored cummerbund. I know Velocity and First Spear both make them. FS even makes an overlap cummerbund that would cover the gaps where your QD attached to the front of the set up but I'm not sure how that would work with the Aspetto system.
@@Outcome_Agent That would be a lot of extra bulk when he could just run a carrier that accepts the BALCS armor and hard plates. If he's not wearing that BALCS vest, an armored cummerbund would work well with this carrier. Ferro makes a pretty cool one in addition to the ones I already mentioned.
@@donaldtrumpp4716 Well in the academy I had the soft armor vest issued to me then when I got to my station I got the plates. They since updated the plate carrier to carry soft armor panels so I think it’s a hybrid that we get now.

Most likely he uses the AE balcs cut soft armor carrier underneath which is how you should be wearing your kit for work
