@@ridgerunnerbladesthe woodsman is the best. I love mine so much I’m afraid to use it. Really want a blue ridge hunter or the general store exclusive. But the utility crusher is so badass I just don’t know. But definitely not my last winkler.
I own one Winkler because I love the design of the knives and I think Winkler is a great company, but they are severely impairing the performance of their product by using inferior steal. 3V done right offers a far superior product requiring much less preventative maintenance. I hear what Mr Winkler is saying about wanting to control the whole manufacturing process and I get it, but he is simultaneously contradicting himself when he says he believes in offering the absolute best product to his customers. I would own and use lots of Winkler designs if he would use a better steel with decent corrosion resistance. As it stands, it’s just wall art for me. They are beautiful designs and the workmanship is fantastic, but I have other knives that are better suited for real-world use. It’s too bad, I’d love to EDC a Woodsman!
80CrV2 has been called a "beginner's steel" by Larrin Thomas. I'll never purchase a Winkler knife with that inferior steel that has NO corrosion resistance. Your excuse for not using 3V is fucking ridiculous. What a fraud.
Thank you for the update on the Recon!
Got to be best accent on the planet, bless these gentlemen ❤New Zealand
2 great company's with excellent customer service
Have to admire the thought and care that Daniel Winkler puts into his products.
I hit the last Recon in tribal, I totally lucked out. Matches my Sayoc RnD
Bought mine right at winkler actual it was a great experience. Got a woodsman with maple handle. Hope to own the same model with the sculpted grip.
That sucks about the tanto. I'd love to get my hands on one of the Winkler/ Williams collaborations
Just recieved my first Winkler, a Woodsman. Awesome knife!
Awesome Blade!

What about about Combat Flatheads?!?
Winkler doesn't take order on knives with serrations, on the belt knife

If Kevin Holland recommends these bad boys, the SEALs and Delta use them, that's good enough for me brother
eBay has a ton of counterfeits daily
if they're made with a steel other than 80CrV2, they're probably superior.
