Right now Ghostrider is also running on one train, even though it is the summer season. The wait has constantly been 3-4 hours almost every day for the past 3 weeks or so

I went last week, waited two hours past park closing, and on top of one train, the ops stalled as long as possible trying to make people leave. The park deserves so much better

This coaster is smooth and not rough. They fixed it awhile back

I have gone to Knotts 10 times this year and each time I go I’m scratching my head as to why the ride ops work with no sense of urgency. This is on every ride, including the kid rides in camp snoopy. Knotts needs to recruit some talent from Disneyland who is in charge of ride ops to help out. Disneyland not only has higher capacity rides, but the ride ops are efficient at getting riders on and off quickly. The one difference with the riders though is the fact that Knotts does have a different type of crowd compared to Disney. A rowdy lower class type of customer who in most cases has no respect for operations or rules. So there is that also.

Good video, with some inaccuracies. I'll mention two. In 2022, after major refurbishment, The Boss is extremely smooth and runs like a brand-new coaster. Six Flags even made a Boss T-shirt which advertises "The Boss, smoother, faster, more thrilling then ever" or something similar. I was shocked at how awesome The Boss is, even with Gerstlauer trains. It's not rough in the least. Not everyone was praising Ghostrider. Many enthusiasts who rode it it's first few years noticed the reprofiling & banking has _reduced_ the airtime and laterals it once had. I got to ride it a lot in 1999 & the early 2000s. It was my favorite wood coaster then and _much more_ intense than it is now. This is a fantastic coaster, but it's been neutered by GCI, made smoother, but _not_ with stronger forces. In particular, "the drop," an enthusiast nickname for the famous station drop, gives only _a small portion_ of the sudden, crazy ejector airtime it once had. I've ridden every wood coaster in the U.S, most in Europe and around 30 defunct. That station drop in the early 2000s is some of the strongest airtime I've ever experienced on a wood coaster, surpassed _maybe_ by La Montana Rusa _before_ GCI also neutered that awesome coaster.
