Thanks for sharing your story. I'm in my early 40s and still haven't told my parents. I think they know but it's always been one of those-things-that-goes-unspoken. As their health declines, it makes me want to change that...but it feels like that ship sailed so long ago that I don't know how to bring it back to port.
I recall the time when I came out as gay to my family when I was 20 in 2016. When I look back at that moment in 2024, at the age of 28, I feel grateful that I took that step. My family's response was incredibly supportive; they told me how proud they were of me and assured me of their unconditional love.
It’s nice to see more masculine gay men coming out , steer away from drama something tells me you do and I truly hope you find that one forever guy to share your life with and grow old together. I wish you only the best life has to offer you my friend take care 🙏
Tommy thanks for a great channel. I’ve been watching them out of order. Love the mix of content and you do an amazing job of speed/tempo/delivery. Keep up the amazing work.
I'm here to support you. I respect your thoughts, honesty and respect. Hoping you won't change with popularity. I'm into horas looking at the heart of people. I see purity and depth in you. Don't sell yourself short. There are those who enjoy destroying others, you can trust me. I'm not one of those people. Look me up. I'd like to be friends.😂
Always inspiring to see and hear inspiring coming out stories! Sadly, my coming out story when I was 42 was nowhere near smooth sailing. I was in my darkest period ever and friends I had when I tried to stay straight abandoned me never spoke to me since. To this day, my coming out is still a work in progress. Thanks for sharing your story!!
Thomas, thank you for sharing your story. And congratulations on coming out. It’s crazy how it makes you feel so much better, isn’t it. And you are right to hope this video will help someone. Because it will. It will help many I believe. As for promising two videos a week. You will find that to become difficult to do at some point. Once you get into editing and figuring out what the story will be, then filming that story, etc, you’ll see that it’s all a process. But I’m a subscriber now and will be looking forward to your videos. So, good luck, I’ll be here.
@@brunomd288 Agree. Feminine guys have it the worst. They really don't get much acceptance from the gays and the str8s. Gays are just as varied and diverse as str8 people are and they are just as deserving of support and acceptance as any masculine bruh.
One of the greatest things we can do for ourselves is to get past the feeling that we have to please everyone, or are constantly hung up on what others think. A lot of variables play into this, but without getting into a deep discussion on psychology. Our individual lives are OURS, not anyone else's. The first time we have to do that in our lives IS difficult, but after that it gets easier, and after it's all over, we realize it wasn't as hard as we thought it was going to be. Not to mention all the time we wasted not being our authentic selves because we were worried what others would think. You find that YOU being YOU, people will love you just as you are. Sorry you took so long to make your happiness and sanity a priority.
Very happy to see you sharing your story, I'm happy to be one of your subscribers. You rock dude, keep up the awesome content, it means a lot to us fellow gays ❤️ 😊
Loved your video. This world needs more and more people like yourself to make these QUALITY type videos on UA-cam. A video like yours can truly be life saving for someone in this world and very educational for others. Hope to see more from you. Have a great day.
Hello Tomy, I just discovered your UA-cam site today and just subcribed to your channel. I am going to now view all of your videos in chronological order starting with this one. Thank you for sharing your unjudgmenta views and always sharing your thoughts in a way that does not put any expectations on me as a viewer. I like to hear other people's perspectives, but it doesn't mean I have to follow anyone's path, but pave my own.....Thank you for that!!!
Hi Tom, Enjoy your outllook and stories. You are so well spoken and articulate. Is May 10 your birthday? Look forward to more of your videos. How tall and how much is your weight? Take care. David
Thank you for sharing your story. I came out or was outted by my family who discovered gay magazines under my bed when I was 17. I was forced to not be gay or kicked out of the house. I ended up running away from home at 18. It took a few years for my family and I to reconnect and reconcile with each other. It was very difficult and painful a few years to be on my own, self supported by working evenings at restaurant and continuing to finish high school and then part time college afterwards to study fashion design. Being gay and coming out as Asian in the early 90s is not something anyone wanted to do.
Well, one thing you'll love (I hope) about Miami vs Denver is the abundance of Cuban food. Lucky you! I hope you're able to make solid friends who can show you around and take you to some great places to eat. Careful, though, or you'll have to spend some extra time on the treadmill.
I want you to know that God does not hate you. He loves you as long as you know who you are and accept yourself for who and what you are and a lot of good will follow on that and as long as you are as who you are, God will meet you where you are, don’t let people tell you otherwise, I am not a Catholic. I seen enough all these videos to know that God loves you for who you are as a person now for. Out of obligation because you’re gay or not it does not matter with God at all same here with me I am not going to judge you or tell you that you’re not allowed to be gay no, you’re allowed to be you that is important for you to know if you wanna go ahead I’ll be around hear it as long as you are who you are and accept yourself for who you are and a lot good will follow on it and God will be there to see it through and I am sure God loves you for you and I want you to know that As long as you do know it if God can love you, so can I because you are a beautiful person and you can be the best person that you can be as long as you know who you are and except yourself are who you are and not living a lie because I feel like I’ve been living a lie myself Because that is what I got from the video as well and I hope that this will uplift your spirit so you may know that God loves you for who and what you are God does not care if you’re a gay, homosexual or not I am sure it will not change a damn thing about it And I hope that you will be the best person that you can be as a beautiful person that you can be. I know that you are one as long as you know who you are that is saying something.

Congratulations on your coming out. 🌈 It shouldn't have to be a coming out thing, people are who they are people should respect that. Anyways I was laughing because I was looking around your apartment and if you didn't say that you were gay I would have said, oh yeah this guy is gay. I mean only us gay people keep our spaces tightly 😂😂 and fabulous.
I remember when I was in junior high and I’d hang out with the most popular girl in school and her friends and the guys would all say I was gay for hanging out with girls. My response was, you like girls right, I’m hanging out with the most smoking hot girl in school and your friends are dudes who think farting on each other is hilarious…but I’m the gay one, interesting take 🤷🏽♂️. I never came out, I don’t know what that is, I never felt the need to discuss who I was sleeping with. I mean I don’t ask my mother who she sleeps with, not interested. That comes from my family dynamics, my independent personality, and just my feeling that it’s no one’s business unless we are in a relationship. It’s different for everyone, I tried being part of the gay culture and it never really worked for me. My trying to be gay , would be like my trying to be black, I am both those things but I’m my version of whatever those things are, I’m me and that’s all I know how to be. I have friends who have these horrible coming out stories and I feel like I decided to skip over all of that part and just arrive on site a fully formed person and if you are down for the ride, get on board, if not, I’m not for you and that’s cool too. Everyone has to find their way, their is no one way. I’m glad to see you are on your journey and willing to share.
I certainly would never judge you about being gay. (Now I might judge you on those '70s era dining room chairs! LOL!) But I'm gay as well so I guess I can be a little snarky about decor. 🙂 I had a non-eventful coming out for the most part. Most everyone around (with some exceptions) basically had the attitude of "So?!" and really didn't think it was important one way or the other which is all good and I was all worried and nervous for nothing in the end. I've lived in Madison, Wisconsin my entire life btw. Anyway, nice video sharing your personal experiences so confidently. Oh, and you're an extremely handsome man! 🔥👍 (And I'm also Catholic and went to a Catholic middle school, but I didn't really let it affect me negatively ever and though I don't actively practice by going to mass, I still have that core faith and beliefs, but done so in a way that works for me and in line with many many other moderate minded Catholics out there. I know I'm not alone; not by a long shot).
