We're all still in love with this handsome hot hunk even in his 60s because he never lost his good looks but improved them when he grew a beard and mustache. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
❤ Watching this clip has brought back Alot of Memories, I Loved watching The Hardy Boys, I think they were on Sunday Evening, that I don't remember, I just Remember how much I Loved the Show ❤❤❤
Brings back memories, I remember watching the Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries wayback in the late 70's, I'm glued to our TV set every friday night and I would sit on the floor watching the Hardy Boys! Shaun is my all time crush! Until now! I would say from puberty to menopause!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My first obsession!! Before George Michael there was Shaun!!! Still proudly own this and his debut album!! 1977 was a great year only 8 years old but knew he was a hot performer!! ❤
With a father like Jack Cassidy and a mother like Shirley Jones, he definitely got his singing and acting skills naturally. Still a fan after all these years.
God I loved this show as a kid. I had read almost all the books. I did want Shauns hair lol. My parents made me keep mine short. I finally had it when I was older. Im 51 now...... Miss those days.
Freak me out. "Born Late" was the first album I ever bought with my pocket money. Looooved "The Hardy Boys". Loooooved both Shaun Cassidy & Parker Stevenson. Sad 50 year old woman re-visiting her youth. Also loved watching "The Partridge Family", so death of David is very sad. :(
mytipsycat omg, I’m 51 now and I’m with ya here! I got Born Late for Christmas the year it came out and didn’t care about any other gifts! Watched the Hardy Boys every time it was on. The only crush I had worse than the Hardy Boys was Leif GARRETT. It’s fun to go back and revisit the age, it was good times and innocent crushes. I showed my 8 yr old daughter this video and she said “hey he’s cute”. Ha!
It's not sad for a 50 year old woman to relive her youth what about a 53 year-old woman like me Shaun Cassidy and David Cassidy will always be hot in my world
I had Born Late, UnderWraps, I had every album he recorded. Dah Doo Run Run, Hey Deenie My baby she wrote me a letter, I realize that song was originally done by Eddie Money but Shaun Cassidy covered it very well!!!! I am 54 years old and I still remember most of the words to his songs 🎵 I remember being at his concerts and listening to all of the girls screaming, of course I was one of them!! I remember his skin tight satin pants and his perfectly feathered hair 😍 I would wait eagerly each week for Teen Beat, and Tiger Beat magazine for the centerfold of Shaun Cassidy to hang with the others on my bedroom wall. I would save my allowance and my babysitting money to buy his latest album, or perhaps one I didn't have. I loved him so much. I remember when he got married!!!! I was just devastated!!! I love Shaun Cassidy to this day and the wonderful memories of those moments of my life ❤️
This was awesome! Shaun Cassidy is so smart and talented. It also gave me Rex Smith in Sooner or Later vibes along with David Cassidy vibes! All very talented!❤
After devouring all of the Nancy Drew books and delving into Hardy Boys... this came to life and there was Joe Hardy in all of his cute, feathered hair-ness and angelic voice and I fell in love with Shaun Cassidy when I was ten years old! Great memories and respect for him these days.
I soooo have been missing the old days. Loved the 70's and 80's. I really do miss those times... they were better. I pity the kids who are growing up in these times....
My wall in my bedroom was completely covered by my Shaun Cassidy posters that I got from Teenbeat magazine and some that I purchased!!! I saw Shaun Cassidy live on several occasions. I watched the Hardy Boys weekly because it stared Shaun Cassidy!! I have one poster that I have kept in my photo album for many years now. I was so very in love with Shaun Cassidy 😍 I still love him ❤️
Oh I remembered this show, and the nancy drew mysterys, the best part is when both got together for a mystery. Now that was Entertainment. Shaun Cassidys songs are still the best. Never get tried listening and singing along side with them. Im 52 years old male. Still to this day he is one great performer. Thank you Shaun Cassidy. gio
One of this black Detroit 60's chicks favorite songs written by Eric carmen. It brings back great memories and memories of people dancing and having fun. And it was sung by another one of those other handsome Cassidy brothers Shawn. 😊
Hey Deanie is one of the 10 best songs of the 1970s! It reached #7 in early 1978, & was written by Eric Carmen, as was Shaun's even bigger hit, "That's Rock & Roll."
I still LOVE Shaun, my name is ‘Jeanie’ so of course I sang this song with him at age 13, changing ‘Deanie’ to ‘Jeanie’ I felt I had a special fan ‘ love’ bond with him. Had a great dream about you tonight Shaun , this the reason for listening to Hey Deanie tonight at 4:00am I’ll never forget that dream 🥰🥰🥰
I knew he created that show. There was a guy on TV who interviewed Shaun Cassidy and he said that he saw his name as the creator of the series but he thought it was someone else who's name was spelled the same way. Then he finds out that it was indeed the one and only Shaun Cassidy from "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries" that created the series. I also enjoyed watching "American Gothic". It was a great show, just too bad it was cancelled after just one season.
It was mine too! I naively thought since no one in my school crushed on him as hardcore as me I’d be able to get really close at his show in Shreveport, LA - WRONG, it was sold out and there were girls of all ages literally freaking out everywhere. My brand new blue satin pants were literally shredded and black trying to get close to the stage cause I couldn’t hear him above the screaming…! Still amazing I can remember the words to all these songs, and when this song came on that night on the Hardy Boys episode, I honestly thought I was having a heart attack, lol! Anyone going to a show now will never experience that kind of massive estrogen energy, it was unforgettable😻
I never missed one episode of "The Hardy Boys" and fell inlove with Shaun Cassidy and especially this song. I have to get this album on CD. Thank you for uploading this.
@MegaJilliebean I totally agree with you. I still melt when I look into Shaun's eyes. I'm glad record players are coming back because I can listen to my Shaun Cassidy records again.
I loved the old Hardy boys episodes. I didn't actually watch them on TV back then, I get them on DVD. It was only after I watched all the shows when I discovered Joe Hardy is really a 70's rocker named Shaun Cassidy.
He does. He just finished a Northeastern music tour. He is doing smaller venues and performing his songs and doing some storytelling. He is one of the producers of the NBC show New Amsterdam and when the show is on break, he will be going out and doing anther leg of his tour. He did the northeast already, so not sure where he is going next, but you can follow him on facebook or instagram and especially instagram he seems to post more about the tour there when it starts up again. Hope this helps! You can purchase a meet and greet ticket. I am a member of a Shaun group on Facebook and we are very involved. Many of our members have gotten to go to the shows and have their picture with him it has been great. I am waiting for him to come down to the southern states.
Oh, also, if you go to his facebook page or instagram and scroll a ways thru his posts from a few months ago, you can probably spot a video of a portion of his last song of the night, or his tribute to David.
On this day in 1977 {October 29th} Shaun Cassidy performed "Hey Deanie" on the ABC-TV program 'American Bandstand' Eight days later on November 6th, 1977 it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart at position #77; and nine weeks later on January 8th, 1978 it peaked at #7 {for 2 weeks} and would spent 16 weeks on the Top 100... A song written and given to Shaun Cassidy by Cleveland's own Eric Carmen, who has recently passed.
R.I.P. to the wonderful Eric Carmen, a great talent from this era and beyond.
Eric’s version is fantastic. RIP.
he pretty much covered the whole album....RIP Eric
Shaun Cassidy has a deep voice for someone with such a babyface.
I know right.
He can reach the high notes too. His vocal range is incredible.
still at 62 he still has a baby face.
I love this song
