Was leaving Mass and smelled something so good. Smelled so good. The guy said it was “Armani Code….but the new one.” I said, “the new one?”. “Yeah, the brand new one” he replied
I purchased 4.2 oz. bottle on Tuesday and wore it the same day. I still smell the beautiful iris note on my shirt that I have hung up. I think adding iris to this formulation was pure genius. I love iris and for me this is the best from the line. The dry down is beautiful and elegant. The iris is not too powdery but soft and smooth. I am so glad I purchased the bigger bottle because I will surely need it. I blind bought this and have no regrets.

Glad you like it but this was a HUGE disappointment for me. This smells like baby powder. I don’t like it at all and I usually like powder fragrances like Prada. Sample first before buying!
I can confirm that pulls compliments. I was in a supermarket and overheard some girl say "oh it smells like a good man in this aisle." Smells like class and elegance in a bottle. I didn't know it'd be appreciated by women though, I just thought it was a office friendly.
you can spot this is a pro review because it is well done, other reviewers just focus on profumo and absolu and compare it to those instead of the EDT and EDP, then conclude it smells nothing like it and proceed to bash it. this is just a focused review on the scent of the parfum itself, GREAT!
1 year later we have a code epd thats seems to be a code profumo and this comment gives a 180ª turn....
Just picked this up and I love this so much. Especially the dry down. Never smelled iris before but it took some time for me to really appreciate it. Love this! Bergamot, cedar and Tonka is very nice
Try Givenchy Gentleman RESERVE PRIVE. I first found IRIS in Dior Homme Intense, but that changed alot I love ❤ the note of IRIS , Gentleman Boise is another one , trust me you will love IRIS now try Prada L'homme the OG , but it lead me to OUD but nothing full on Versace Oud Noir and Boss Bottled OUD nothing too full on but over 3 yrs I've gone from the Blues eg Bleu De Chanel I love my Sauvage EDP and Elixir but it was Givenchy Boise that started me on my IRIS note and love it.
All I can smell is powder in this fragrance. It overwhelms every other note by far. This was a huge disappointment for me. Sample first before buying people!

The iris is done perfectly in this fragrance. My favorite iris fragrance by far. I like this one better than Dior Homme Intense. Only problem I had is the bottle itself was like falling apart when i received it. The shiny metel lid was not even adhered to the bottle, it was just bouncing around. The cap on mine was barely magnetic. But the atomizers on these are perfect in my opinion.
Glad some people like it but this was a huge disappointment for me. It mainly smells like powder. Like baby powder. And I usually like powder fragrances like Prada, but this is on another level of powdery. Very disappointing.

I have Dior Homme Intense. Is it redundant to have both?
No. They are completely different but DHI is more of a gourmand fragrance. It smells like chocolate cake and pumpkin pie. Its not for everybody and imo its very overhyped to death. If you are going to spend that much money, Id go with something else my man.@@alexssander118

I got a sample of this yesterday, I am very disappointed. This is a powder bomb, the only note I’m picking up is powder. Not manly at all, but it might smell good on one of my girlfriends, so I’m going to give it to them.
I just received my order of this today and had to immediately give it some sprays. HOLY COW is it AMAZING. It instantly became one of the top 3 in my collection. Ive never smelled a dry down as incredible as this stuff!

Wore Armani Code Parfum today for the very first time, never tried others before! Its a very elegant fragrance, very long lasting and sillage is beautiful - I put it on at 8.30am and smelt all day long in the office and returned home at 6pm and still going strong
This was a huge disappointment for me. Other people out there - make sure you get a sample first, unless you like smelling like baby powder.

Not gonna lie I love this stuff! Managed to pick it up last week and it’s great. Smells like an office appropriate version of the EDP if you ask me. Definitely worth a try !

The EDP is more loud and projects more than the parfum. I can see it probably irritating people in close proximity especially when they're around you for hours. The Parfum is more subtle and sits closer to the skin, so I assume that's why they consider the parfum more "office safe". Overall I like the scent of the parfum more but the EDP projects more and will get more attention.

It’s just “ok” .. it doesn’t smell parfum strength to me. Wasn’t wowed by this version at all but that’s just my opinion not fact. Glad I was able to test this one.
I wouldnt say it directly smells like anything. But I mix this with prada black because they go great together. The vanilla in absolu, mixes great with prada black aswell. That mix is my most complemented fragrance. Though I'll say you mostly just smell the code absolu, the vanilla in prada black and these code flankers is very similar

You and Ash from GC have a kinda different opening opinion on this so iam a little hesitant on getting it . Both Ash and his wife agree it opens very fresh due to the bergamot / bergamot leaf and the added iris smooths it out but I just wanted to make sure because I love the idea of the code DNA but with more of a fresh bergamot opening really appeals to me . Idk thoughts??? Anyways love your content brother !!

The dry down is amazing and very addictive, really like this one a lot. I don't get all the hate it gets on Fragrantica mainly cause of the bottle design, but who cares about the bottle when it smells so good? 😏 Great modern Code release, love it 😄
How's the longevity?
@Michael not beast mode for sure, lasts quite a bit if you spray on clothes. On skin, it lasts about 4 or 5 hours but not huge projection.

I'm not sure if you've heard that there's a strong possibility that they scrap the other Code fragrances like Profumo, Absolu, Colonia and holding onto the Code EDT, EDP and Parfum but moving them into the new bottle design. I need to get my nose on the Parfum as I'm a huge fan of Code EDT.
Weird if they get rid of Profumo. That slaps. Profondo is good but I think Profumo better.

I absolutely love Absolu, if they discontinue I am already prepared. I have a 100ml in the box and a 200ml on the way. Got the 200ml on fragrancenet last night for about $140. I am not hoarding because of the rumored discontinuation, I just really love it and will wear it till I am dead. If they do discontinue it, I hope that 200ml becomes crazy expensive lol

It smells great the first five minutes and after about 20 minutes on. I find there is an odd smell when it firsts starts to dry only right at the skin but it's almost chemically.

New Parfum is absolutely GORGEOUS. I'm sampling lots of fragrances at the moment and some of the big name parfums/elixirs are absolutely disgusting: Tom Ford Noir Extreme (lipstick+cigarettes, very oppressive and even caused me to have a rash), Boss Bottled Elixir (YUCK! burning pine cones and burnt wood with something that sticks in your throat NOT pleasant), and today I've tried Dior Homme Parfum (lipstick smell like an old lady handbag, nowhere near as bad as the Tom Ford, much smoother, almost likeable in places). But for me, I spray Armani Code Parfum on the other arm and it's just miles better than all of those. It has the freshness of the EDT and is more complex and longer lasting than the EDP. It's actually so good I think it's my favorite new scent and makes the others in the line redundant in my opinion. It's also very masculine and my wife loves it, the others are basically old lady, lipstick handbag smells. 10/10
I like the new bottle design. From what I’ve heard I think I might enjoy this scent. The EDP was nice but I never pulled the trigger on it.

Just got the most wanted parfum and enjoying it. A bit sweet but it’s drying down fresher so we’ll see. About code I love absolu so idk about it being discontinued. Maybe the parfum will do in the future

I had gotten a sample of Code Profumo a while ago and I hated it. I got a bubblegum vibe from it that was nice for the first hour or two but then became cloying to me. It made me afraid to go near anything with tonka bean in it. But I absolutely love this one. I think the addition of iris prevents the tonka from getting too out of control and I surprisingly don't find this one cloying.

I liked the original edt, buth the parfum with iris is even better. Now they have the new edt/edp, wich id try, but im not sure since they took the iris out for nutmeg or something. Edit: im also a big fan of the og Ralph's club with Clary sage and lavender. Its a lavender bomb imo

Call me crazy but the opening reminds me of a smoother Cool Water. Dry down has some aspects of Absolu. Not a bad one at all.

I thunk the parfum is best because you can literally where it for any occasion, or any weather. It's very versatile. They're very similar except code absolu focuses on vanilla, very very sweet warm fragrance. Where code parfum has that depth, also has some vanilla, but with a very fresh, powderyness that I've never smelled before in anything.
I get a whiff of soda pop almost like a root beer scent when I smell it. Really debating if I should get this if I already have YSL le parfum
It is a little fizzy and dusty off the top but that's just the bergamot leaf and it's done perfectly in this fragrance. Then you get that fresh iris and tonka to complete it. It's my most complimented fragrance. Ladies really like this one. Yes you should still get this one.

@Jordan-xd6bv a parfum. Not a blue scent, have never once heard it referred to as a blue scent before seeing your comment. I own Code Parfum and blue scents, they are nothing alike. Blue scents have an aquatic/marine aspect to them, the Code Parfum does not. It's citrusy, sweet, and powdery with a bit of woody.

From many reviews, extremely similar to JPG Le Male Le Parfum. It's redundant.
Similar... Code Parfum is slightly fresher/lighter and simpler vs Le Parfum is more, mature, warmer, darker, complex and has those divine oriental notes in the dry down.

Armani’s quality control is horrid. Second video I saw with a problem regarding this cologne. My order last month also had leaks and damage to bottle.

Bro dis is a generic version of Ultimate with some things from Profumo with some iris, sorry but I’m really disappointed with this release this generic AF and súper expensive there are some bangers niche fragrances at this price point so this is a waste of money from any point off view

Here's my honest review of Code Parfum. I hate it. It smells like BOD. And yes it smells like the BOD with the flames on the can. You're review is spot on, but I'm still not a fan. It's too spicy. Preferences.

@2linefitness450 Oh sure fragrances are completely subjective as far as who likes what, but it definitely doesn't have a single "Spicy" note in it. I hate spicy scents and really enjoy Code Parfum.
