I think they all did. Cause the plot was shit and we had to fight them 3 on 3 fights and almost everyone has a key blade that fought and that's their biggest weakness

Roxas' HP is locked at full, he can't die during that fight.

Well, he has two keyblades and is technically Sora's body (and in the Kingdom Hearts universe Sora either has two bodies or half his body makes a whole body).
@@christopherrivera1673 Roxas got the body from Data Riku that was left for Namine. As for why he stil has 2 keyblades my best bet is that he inherited them from Ventus and Sora as a gift like how the Wayfinder trio gave the Destiny Islands trio keyblades

lets be real even the most diehard kingdom hearts fan can admit all of them were too easy. Proud in KH3 was like normal in other games. I literally played some old KH games a few weeks ago and proud mode was stupid difficult while i 1 shotted the majority of encounters in kh3. Still had a lot of fun playing the game it just needs to be harder or add critical mode.
This. I'm a huge fan of kingdom hearts, beat all games and this game had so many easy bosses for proud mode, it was sad unfortunately. Although if u do the balloon trick in DDD then that that games easier. I do hope for a critical mode.
flim flam lets be real proud mode is easy play kh2 on proud it’s easy the only slightly difficult game in the series with proud is the first game every other game is easy unless you play on critical
Not enough boss fights, too many cinematics and boss had like 1 or 2 paterns to guard in proud mode.
I started playing Kingdom Hearts a few months back with the collections, and while I did normal for 1 just to get through it I played the others on Proud. This... felt a lot more like normal. It was actually easier than KH1 normal was for me, because I was rushed through 1 and thus was underleveled for most of it.
Kh 1 and birth by sleep are the only kingdom hearts games where proud mode was hard (kh1 being the hardest). Every other game lacking critical mode is a cake walk

when i took down Dark Inferno with the ultima wep, all i could say was "I'm the final boss now..." it felt good for a few minutes but then you realize there's no challenge left so it feels meh

Hmmm... this game is only mildly rage inducing on proud mode compared to the original. R.I.P. to all 3 of my PS2 controllers back when I was trying to fight Sephiroth in KH1.
In final mix, it was the boss you had to attack with magic at the clocktower in Neverland that ruined my controllers on proud.
never understood why people found sephiroth hard in kh1; i farmed him to get to lvl 99 all the way from 40ish.
aeroga is so broken in that game that the damage you take to leave you to low hp replenishes enough mp bars to curaga AND aeroga; always thought that was a serious design flaw

Critical Mode and the EZ codes are a terrible combo. I went from foderizing bosses with Ultima Finish to repeat off screen one hit kill attacks from Terra-Xehanort
Missed one boss. The secret ship boss in Pirates world. 3 teleporting total cheap boats that wreak you unless your ship is maxed and even then luck runs the show
I fucking hate that they just spam teleport and cannon every 5 seconds i barely get a chance to attack
Aykrix Acredyz Archer No this is a different ship at the far south of the map. Donald mentions the turbulent waters and if you get closer three ships appear and the fight starts.
@Spooky i try to attack their weak points but whenever i try to fight them they literally dont stop teleporting as soon as they reappear they teleport again and again and again its just ridiclous

I did that fight over and over until I got the hang of it and even after beating it three times in a row I got shit rewards which sucked. Got me to actually think during ship combat though so that was plus.
When I can beat every boss on my first try then this was the easiest KH games in the series

I beat the game on lv38. Never died from any boss battle. Terribly dissapointed on how easy this game was. Not once did I have to stop to grind up levels. Smh

Young xehanort and all the BBB end bosses were so much harder than these

I just turned on the EXP stop for a while, so I was only about level 30 during the final part. It got quite difficult then...
Have you played on normal or proud? I'm playing on proud and I just finished pirate world and it's super easy. The only times I've died was because I was looking at my cellphone while fighting some trash mobs early in olympus. Also, there doesn't seem to be any secret bosses from what I've heard which is absolutely disappointing.

Marshmallow so low and Saix so high? You don't even need to do anything to beat Saix, Roxas and Xion do it for you. Meanwhile Marshmallow armours up and keeps you from attacking him by clawing at you and the landing lag makes it almost impossible to fight back. Maybe I was just being dumb. I also never got the tree prompt more than once.
Saix is more difficult if you play aggressively. I had to use ultimate form in order to chew through his berserk form and health at the same time
@@littlevivigaming4822 The fight is pretty much designed to show off how badass roxas is. Roxas is full on KH2FM boss mode and has the movesets to deal 3x the amount of damage you do while being invincible

How is the game catered to newcomers? I have played every KH game on release, and I do not see how this was catered towards anyone but someone like who has played them all.
Dark Inferno took me two 15 minute attempts to beat, and I just learned that Hero’s Origin is stellar for blocking the dark fire orbs and counter attacking. Not as deep or hard as Lingering Will but still a challenging fight nonetheless.
It's a fun fight regardless. Didn't quite beat him yet, but I'm getting close. I'll get Ultima Weapon and then kick his ass.
Learned his patterns and did no damage w/restrictions (only raw combos) in under two hours of first meeting him. He's incredibly easy. The trick is the exact same as 2FM Terra. Just learn his patterns.

Ethan or if you have ultima weapon, like I did before finishing the game cuz I’m a sweaty shit who wanted to be op before the final boss, ultimate form+counter makes the inferno super easy as long as you have a lot of MP Haste stacked on

"Heartless Slime Monster"? The Lump of Horror is an Unversed! There's a difference between Heartless and Unversed, y'know. Also, in my Opinion, the Unversed get horrendously underused in this Game. The Nobodies though, because Flowernort (Marluxia) and Anntennanort (Larxene), make a return, we get New Lesser Elite Nobodies in the form of the Reapers (Marluxia's Underlings) and the Ninjas (Larxene's Underlings), but the Unversed got the Short end of the Stick with this Game! The only Classic Unversed to make a comeback are the Floods, while the only new Unversed we get in this game are the Flower Snakes, the Turtle Toads, and the Aforementioned Lump of Horror! If you ask me, the Unversed being Underused in this Game is one of my Least Favorite things about Kingdom Hearts III. Also, the Boss at 12:50 is a Demon Tide, not a Tower.

Meh, I really love them both. I know that DeMod became more popular due to rankings, but that doesn't mean Albino's are worse. Like I said, I love both.
Random AMV Guy Albino thought he had time to work on his dark souls ranking, so he took his sweet time, soon after that DeMod “Pioneered” the boss ranking genre, when albino had the idea too. He mentioned this in one of the boss rankings if I remember correctly. The point is, albino thought if someone came out with it first his channel would have a lot more views/subscribers.

18:50 you can just block the white orbs, they’re one of his easiest to avoid moves until his red phase, where he’s still there, but even then once u enter the invincibility frames of blocking, it’s fine.
Definitely the easiest KH game, but the final Xehanort fight was just annoying.

What made the final fight so hard was the fact that it was like 3 boss fights one after the other. The 13, then Armored Xehanort, then real Xehanort. Shit was insane. I was getting tired of constantly dodging to heal myself with magic heals cause I ran out of Hi-potions and elixirs. lol

Playing level one with no grand magic, attractions, and team attacks, should do the trick for difficulty....
yeah, and don't forget to turn your TV off for some extra difficulty
It's not worth it. For normal heartless it's fine, buy when you fight bosses, they're not going to be "difficult", they're just going to take a LONG time because you'll do no damage.
just playing the highest diffi ulty is enough since everything is 1 - 2 shot kills you

I didn't die once in this game. In terms of difficulty, it's a joke in comparison to the other KH titles. It's pretty much just mash X until the boss dies. No timing, no strategy, just brainless button mashing.

@@MrsJMWitzigreuter Except it wasn't. It could be for some of the game with trash enemies, and a couple bosses, but a lot of the higher leveled bosses needed to be evaded, and have to have their attacks studied.
How many people beat Roxas first shot by button Mashing? Or Sephiroth, Terra, or any of the Orginization XIII members? Some fights need to be analyzed to find the best way to approach them.
KH3 is JUST button mashing, start to finish.
Lol try button mashing against any of the Organization XIII data battles and you would be immediately dead.
It was easy but for me its overall better then kh2 and birth by sleep had a pretty easy critical mode too

Since Sora just decimates like 3 health bar within 10 seconds on any bosses with situation commands
By the time I decided to fight Dark Inferno I was already at lvl 99. Needless to say it was shockingly easier than I expected. Of course as I stated I was also at lvl 99. Good list. I especially loved the games ability to lock onto the weakest enemy nearest the boss I was trying to aim at.
I did it originally at lvl 50ish then went back at lvl 99 with ultima weapon and killed it within a minute or 2
I fought that one at level 38 at first because I thought I could handle it XD, had to get to level 55 before I could beat it
gummi ship boss was the hardest boss in the game, and you can air step to the battle gate heartless when it does the AOE attack to counter. You can see the option at 19:39

Its because of the insane amount of combat mechanics at your disposal. Never had this much variety in a KH game. I think in critical mode the attractions, links, and form changes should be dialed down a lot. For bosses attractions shouldn’t be usable at all.
@@donevonpankey1997 I don't like this logic since EVERY KH game is made with that perspective in mind. That doesn't really work when there are 7(?) games in the series that are more difficult than the latest installment. All of which were made with the intent to cater to children.
The game is fairly easy due to it throwing win commands at you all the time. While I'm not going to say "just don't use attractions or transformations" I would recommend ignoring them for a less boring playthrough. I pretty much avoided using them as soon as I realized they change the music back to the KH1 traverse town battle theme because I personally find that theme annoying as hell.
The lack of crit is something as well, but KH2 didn't have crit until an FM came out and the FM took time because they took data from proud mode to see the best way to balance it. I would just be patient and assume they'll do the same thing with KH3 and if not the that really fucking sucks because everyone knows crit is the best difficulty.
If yall want a bit more challenge, around the Caribbean I removed my armor and accessories as well as disable Donald's heal. From there out even with the Ultima weapon on proud, ESPECIALLY end game I died quite often. I think I died most to the 3 Xehanort battle, final boss, and of course inferno.
#3 and #2 should be switched tbh. I didn’t die once in my whole play through on standard mode. Too easy to save your ass with summons and just spam dodge roll to heal up to rinse and repeat. 2 was still my favorite

danger zone so you don't want more content for a game that you say lacks content? That's kind of stupid. Also keep in mind that not everyone waited 13 years. Also, KH3 had only about 2-3 years of development, around the amount of time of KH2, although I believe a bit more. Dlc is confirmed and critical mode is coming along with new story elements.
The tangled key blade is definitely the best because of the smaller sho tlock that will give you hp while your mp is down. Also the mirage staff finisher ability is amazing for countering his red stance combos because it lasts so long. I was able to beat him literally as soon as I got the whatever they're calling once more and second chance with a magic build. He's immune to fire damage and water doesn't really shield that well imo. I think I was like level 44 or something like that, on proud mode. Hope this helps anyone who struggled.

I got the Ultima Weapon before entering the final boss area, you can get the last orichalcum plus after The Final World, and it allows you to bully everything with it's transformation, and the finisher is broken along with the shotlock.
Yeah Sköl is my favorite boss too.
His design is clean, his attacks are swift and powerful, he’d howl and summon wolfs to fight by his side like an alpha, and, my favorite part, he’ll leap into the sky and turn into a freakin’ meteor and if you counter it you’ll perform the best team attack in the game. Epic! 😁

@18:53 one handy thing with the white orb attack is that when he disappears (he sometimes doesn’t in his last phase, so watch) he will always be vulnerable for a good moment when he reappears, and he always reappears exactly where he disappears, so it’s easy to exploit if you can withstand/avoid the orb attack
We'll be waiting for the DLC bosses, Sunburned. Looking forward to it.
New ranking on Crtitical Mode?
There are two optional bosses I would have recommended putting on this list, considering they'd be near the top on difficulty. Schwarzgeist, the gummi ship boss that requires a solid amount of HP and power for you to beat, and that damn pirate ship encounter to the south of the Pirates of the Caribbean map. That one is especially hard because you can only upgrade your ship so much, so it really doesn't get any easier based on your level or ability choices.
I mean you can do Schwarzgeist pretty easy using Endymion Ship you get from the constelation and after that you have the Golden Highwind making space fights a Joke
I didn't even know King of Toys had that last phase. I pretty much stayed on top of him the whole time, got an attraction command and that finished him off.
None of them are hard even the secret boss is easy

Yeah but he's still a little bit difficult if you don't guard like I beat him with Ultima weapon and it still took me a couple of tries to get him

This was my first truly deathless KH game; I just fought #1 on this list today and dude went down super quick (I didn't have the Ultima keyblade yet). If they don't add critical mode at some point, this is going to stay as the easiest KH in it's series.
It is the easiest, kh1 was way harder

@@amethonys2798 No, if we're going off of KH2 critical. You have less health, you actually do more damage in Crit but take the same amount as on Proud, and you start out and get more AP as you level.
Hopefully it’s better than 0.2s crit mode

Well since critical mode is out now I would love to see a revised list. Got to get through critical mode first so take your time with that.

He said no group encounters (Though kept the Xehanort one for some reason) and the rest are just different forms of other bosses.

I just sat back and relaxed while Roxas just obliterated him. I love this game, but the difficulty scaling is bad. KH2FM's was much better.
you can honestly just keep floating next to darkside's face and mash attack.
you also don't have to hold the square button while riding the flying thing's back, just hold it.
also if you hate the landing lag, just use ariel recovery and then guard in midair.

pirate ship does not make you invincible. i took damage using it once.
In the dark inferno fight I learned if you glide at just the right height the dark fireballs they cannot hit you at all because they just circle around you
On a standard mode I beat all of the bosses with no deaths (did use a few kupo coins) but I did fail a bunch of the mini games at the Caribbean
Same with the caribbean... Didn't die all throughout my proud mode run but those fucking ship battles gave me an ulcer lol

I had no idea you could turn the freakin pirate ship until I watched this! I'VE AVOIDED IT LIKE THE PLAGUE. I prefer to mash X with the occasional O because I got hit and change into rage form for teleporty attacks of doom.
The only fight that gave me trouble was the one at the start of Scala Ad Caelum, against Organization XIII. That was purely just because of the terrain and their tendency to teleport and spawn somewhere on the map, making it a wild goose chase
Overall for me KH3 was an mind numbingly easy experience and it was lets say dissapointingly good, the story was good most loops were tied but that secret ending tho, the combat while enjoyable was not what I expected it to be, and honestly I enjoy 2's combat more. Don't get me wrong here 3's combat is much better than BBS and DDD combined but it lacks the finesse that 2 had and they basically made the game exactly how most people describe 2's combat, mash x then triangle sometimes and after you have experienced the form changes you essentially lock down to the three you like most excluding lvl 1 where hero's origin is basically needed for Second chance and Once moren
Sonicfan441 You described my thoughts on the gameplay pretty well. It’s the worst of the numbered games just because of how easy it is, but better than all of the hand-held spinoffs by a long shot.
Combat for me, I tried to not button mash and found a pretty enjoyable experience. Each battle theme really helps me just enjoy each fight.

Because that was the best boss in the entire damn game. Shame he cam from the WORST world in the entire damn game. You know why the boss is a wolf? Because Square wanted ELSA to be the one that generates the Heartless but Disney said NO NO! CAN'T HAVE THAT!

Haven't tried dark inferno yet, but final xehanort and skoll are the two hardest on level 1 proud mode. I spent probably a good 6 hours getting through final xehanort

The secret boss in this game was tough, but it was no Lingering Will. Only took me around 4ish tries, 2 of which consisted of me just x-spamming like I did for the rest of the game
Not a fun fact, but
Sköll was supposed to be Elsa's heartless, which would get unleashed after she saw her sister get frozen. But Disney, being the shitheads they are, didn't like the idea, so Hans got thrown in at the last second. It would have been so much more better with Elsa getting Sköll

KH games were never long to begin with. You could beat KH1 in 15 hours and KH2 in 20. KH3 is the longest in the series.
@@soracool1234 It's about 35-40 hours, but it felt a bit shorter than 2. Probably due to the lack of returning to worlds or the slightly smaller number of actual worlds in them.

I beat Dark Inferno and one thing I learned is that a) Ariel summon is really good and b) if you glide at the right angle you can dodge the attack where the ring of dark orbs surround you
Man glad I knew I took on dark inferno like 30 levels under the recommended lmaooo
(Still beat him after like an hour and a half tho)
